Nice museum. Some very interesting modern art. Okayyy but the new gigantic bust with detached hands covering its eyes... Scary and weird. Its outside not pictured as its brand new.

Great museum to bring your kids and family. Today is the grand opening of the museum. This museum was moved from older building to new university construction. They have big dinosaurs and some of them are suspended from the roof. They are beautiful and gives one a whole new perspective of Jurassic era. Must visit this place.

This museum is an amazing masterpiece completed with something for everyone. I personally liked the abstraction color+ politics section of the museum. It is completed with 11 unique paintings which all could either mean nothing to you or everything to you. Some of the paintings are even 3D so they just feel different. Overall a great museum and I would definitely go back again.

Admission here is free with a $10 recommended donation in the lobby. Theres a lot of great pieces on display, and the museum itself is small enough for everything to feel intimate and personal. Its also great seeing local students in the area sketching various works of art.

Admission is always free (10$ suggested donation) and this museum is open every day (I believe). A great place to check out and appreciate art of different cultures and they are always adding new exhibits. Would definitely come back to see new exhibits in the future.

Awesome selection of art for people of all tastes. The presentation and description plaques are phenomenal. I really enjoyed looking at the Inuit art exhibit. The high percentage of sculpture and historical artifacts made the museum much more interesting for me than it wouldve been with just paintings. I do not like most abstract art, and it did take up a decent amount of space in the museum, but the abundance of other cool things more than balanced it out. I even found some modern sculptures that I actually loved. Who knew?!

A wonderful way to spend a day in Ann Arbor and see fine works of art. It is free, although they do ask if you could give a $10 donation if you can. Dont forget while you are there to check in the drawers. That is where I found two Rembrandt sketches to marvel at. Oil paintings, sculptures, pottery, carvings, cultural art and artifacts, the list goes on and on. I know that I didnt see every piece they had on display. Still, it took around two hours to waltz through. There is also a Cafè in the back on the ground floor with nice strong coffee.

Museum is wonderful. It is free but they suggest a $10 admission donation( drop box located in lobby). The museum has many gallerys covering many types and periods of Art.They have collections as diverse as ink Wells to Picasso. Serious must do if you are in the campus area.Multi levels but they have an elevator for ease of mobility.(More bathrooms would be nice however)Located across the street from the Kelsey museum.( Thought by most townies as the Mummy and Egyptian museum)The Kelsey has much broader collections than just those.

Great museum with a wonderful variety of artists, regions, styles, mediums and periods. May be a little boring for smaller children as there are no hands on or children geared exhibits, just a well designed gallery. Suggested donation for admission is currently $10 per person and is matched by a donor. The jewelry and artwork for sale in the gift shop are to die for. See more pictures on Traveling Martinezes.

I went to this museum as part of a field trip through the Language Club at my school. The museum is very nice and features a variety of interesting art. A few of the exhibits rotate, so you arent guaranteed to see the same thing every time you go, which is a nice touch. By looking through all of the exhibits, it takes a couple hours to get through the whole building. The items sold at the gift shop are priced reasonably and of good quality. All in all I would highly recommend this museum, and will be visiting again soon!
