Wow what a beautiful park, this place was so great. The play ground was fun, the different water ways are beautiful and fun for kids. This place was great. We will come back when visiting Michigan again.

My dad used to take me here for disc golf when I was younger. The park has changed a bit but its still a lot of fun. Shorter holes but a good one.

Jo
Review №3

I really enjoyed the disc golf course. The hole were medium distance. There was a nice mixture of woods, meadows and hills.

Jo

Really cool large park with a frisbee golf course. The playground for the kids is a little limited, and tough for littler kids. But we love to watch the large birds in the water area.

Great small park. Great (albeit short) 18-hole disc golf course, basketball hoops, playground.

I come here strictly for disc golf. In those terms this park is a high C or low B grade. Fun course, not a ton of challenge. They need some dang garbage cans out here! I pick up bottles all round. Beyond disc golf there is a playground, basketball court, and a beautiful pond. Theres a nice walking path around it all. Pretty safe area so you see tons of kids and walkers. Dogs seem to be welcome.

Its got a playground, a disc golf course and plenty of trails to go on an adventure but there are a TON of mosquitoes I felt like I would get eaten alive. Also STAY on the trails or you could wonder into some poison ivy accidently.

Its a great little spot of wilderness hidden in the middle of Ann Arbor. Some of the trails definitely need to be cleared back a bit though.

Da

Fun park to play, large paved walking path. This park is also home to Disc gold course, that goes through the woods. One large play structure and swings for kids.

Ry

For disc golfers this is a fun shorter course of 18 holes with a mix of tight wooded and open holes.

Great place to take just take a walk and clear your mind. There is also a 9 hole disc golf course through the woods that is always a great time as a solo exercise or group activity.

Nice park, good for disc golf and has a basketball court. The swings are limited and has no slides. Well paved and maintained. Need a little bit more work in details about directions. We went to the pedestrian overbridge on interstate freeway from the trail. But had to go back again on the same bridge to reach the starting point.

Beautiful park! Great disc golf course for first-timers, a little overrun with vegetation but its free so no complaints. Other than taxes I guess. Either way, I digress, great place to go for a walk through the woods, around the lake, or if you have kids there is a playground. Limited parking at the lot off of Stone School.

Al

It is actually a dam and meander for Mallets creek to remove sediment and clean the water to improve the health of the Huron watershed. With that said, it is a nice bit of nature in the city. On our last walk there we saw mallards feeding and barn swallows chasing insects. There are some trails through the woods and sports fields and basketball courts as well as a big toy kids. If you live in the area it is a nice option for a walk.

Review №46

The woods are beautiful and navigable. The trails are long enough to get a little dose of nature when you’re pressed for time but they’re not the sort you’d spend an afternoon hiking. The pond at one end is usually pretty gross and has litter scattered around, but you’re almost guaranteed to catch a glimpse of a great blue heron or two wading around.

This is a great place for a round of disc golf. Play can be fairly quick when not crowded. The holes are not long but offer some challenge with rolling terrain and many trees. I love this place!

This park has a recently refurbished park for kids and parents, a shelter for group gatherings and a great 1-1.5 mile walking trail that is wooded and peaceful. It offers plenty of free parking and is accessible off a main street. For all of these reasons I highly recommend this park. Nearby is the center that has a pool, cardio, weights and a walking track.

An
Review №52

This park is relatively small, but with some looping about and use of every extension, you can make a three mile run without necessarily running laps around the actual lake. Trails include gravel, dirt, and paved, both exposed and in the woods. The lake is a refuge for tons of ducks and geese, the forest is a haven for red tailed hawks and other smaller birds, and the wildflowers are amazing--the biggest colony of trout lilies I have ever seen. Lots of community birders, joggers, bikers and frisbee golfers, who have always been unfailingly polite in my experience. Not for those afraid of mud unless you dont mind a short walk on the paved part. Theres access to the stream on the east side of the reservoir.

Nice park to walk in. We went here for my daughters birthday, and it was very relaxing. It is nice to see the wildflowers that grow here and there. The trails are well-marked, and maintained. The secondary trails are a bit overgrown. We saw a few other people at the park today, but it was not at all crowded. Saw some ducks, geese, and small critters.

A beautiful park in a wetlands setting. Hiking, walking and disc golf. The disc course is short but challenging. If theres been any rain, you will get muddy. A nice mixture of wooded finesse holes and open blind shots. If you arent a perfect shot, be prepared to spend some time in the woods.

Da

I love walking through here, great woods for a short hike in the evening

Ca
Review №59

We come here to play disc golf. I wish the course didnt go through an area thats often very muddy, but it only affects 2 or 3 holes.

Ca
Review №60

The disc golf course isnt as glorious as it once was, but still a great 18. A well balanced open and wooded layout with good pin placement and elevation changes. The rough isnt out to kill you or eat your disc. Its real weakness, since its redesign from Brown to Mary Beth, is that it is surrounded by other courses of premium caliber.

Just follow the beaten path! Its pretty easy to figure out, also if you need a reference there is a sign located between hole 2 and 3 (at least there is a sign :) ) the pro pads make it worth trying and still average only 2 to 3 hundred feet, really. A nice course to practice in those awkward few months of beginning this sport because it have a short pad position also, then you have the few joint pads where you can clearly see a red and white stripe on the pad markers, along with the feet!Careful for ticks and other pests around the lake, dog friendly, pick up your trash and dispose of them at the red holes (sucks that there arent many trash cans at the white pad positions (hint, hint)) please!I posted a picture of the map for you plan ahead-ers... Happy Golfing!
