We took our 3 year old son to the petting farm at Dominos farms, he loved it. We had so much fun, and got to feed the animals. Only negative thing I have to say is it was $25 for the three us, and $4 for two bags of food, we spent maybe a half hour or 45 minutes. Wasnt worth the money. But my son is a huge animal lover, and the farm is beautiful. Didnt get to see the cows though.

Very scarce livestock. No adult coordination or supervision other than in ticket booth. Had to stumble around and find animals, figure out how to get into buildings. No signs marking trails or animals. Just very disappointed. Wont be back.

Currently, there are no carrots to feed the animals due to Covid concerns. This is the biggest reason why we go! Also the caboose is closed off and the barn is closed. The animals were uninterested in guests and were too far away to pet anyway. We stayed for 20 minutes and left with disappointed kids and a hole in our wallet. The main page of the website does not mention any of this. Just a huge heads up!

I really loved this place and all the surrounding areas to enjoy. Visiting here made for one of my favorite days and it was kind of cold and rainy. You can enter the pens so I liked that. Thefe was a very sweet sheep named Socks. Chicken ran around and there was a bunny pen my daughter loved. 100% recommend. There is also a park with old building and a conservatory.

This is a great place to visit with the kids and have a kids birthday party if you need a location. There isnt much signage to tell you anything about the animals or how to walk through the petting farm so you kind of meander on through at your own pace. They have a good selection of fowl, and various farm animals that are all hungry for carrots! As you drive through Dominos you can also see the other animals such as the cows and bison if youre lucky. Parking is easily accessible, free, and handicap friendly if youre ok with relatively smooth gravel.

Good place to go at least once if you are visiting Ann Arbor, and University of Michigan campus area, because it is right there! Petting zoo is ok, but a great option for a bit of a distraction if you want to interact with some playful animals, and especially if you have little kids with!

No party. Wanted to do a birthday party for our son. Tried online, no response after a few days. Stopped by the office a few days later, said someone would call us back to confirm the details. Called 3 times the over the next week, was told a manager would call back to set it all up and confirm everything. Nothing. Fast forward another week to 3 days before the party, they call asking if we were still interested in having the party there. No. I hope you get better at communication. We tried harder than we should have had to to give you money to have a party there. We’ve enjoyed past visits there too.

Kid friendly, clean, a good amount of walking, around the barn and Welcome Center there were nice sidewalks and that area seemed pretty wheelchair accessible. There is a charge so you will need to bring your wallet with you. The animals in the barn were super friendly but it started to rain so I didnt get to go out to the fields where the alpacas and llamas are. It appears that theyre building a nice brand new Welcome Center so theres areas under construction as of 8/19.

Nice place to visit for a walk with the family. We were here about an hour. Friendly staff (besides the girl in the store, she seemed clearly not interested in being there and not a people person). The animals are cool though. Loved chatting with one of the ladies keeping the grounds up and feeding the animals. Overall pleased and probably would return.

Such a cute little petting farm, had sheep, goats, cows, horses, chickens, pigs, alpaca, donkeys and rabbits. The animals are very sweet, and certain ones your allowed to pet and feed some carrots, but not all such as horses, pigs and donkeys. My 3 year old boys LOVED seeing the animals and feeding them, such a cool experience for them. Priced fair, $6 bucks a person and under 2 is free, $2 for a bag of carrots so not expensive at all. They have a little store you can buy some toys ice cream etc. Only negative things for me was I felt the rabbit pin needed a good cleaning, and bathroom seats were stained yellow and yucky and need to be replaced asap, water fountain was broken too..but it did say they need donations so we donated to help. Overall was a fun time so we will definitely be back!

What a disappointment. Maybe if they had the restrooms functional it would have been helpful for my class. Also there wasnt very many animals to actually pet. Yes the goats were awesome. It also the rabbits. The staff didnt really go around with you to actually talk about the animal husbandry. So so I had to get my 4-H hat on and explain to my students about the animals. Maybe if it was more into the season the staff would have been more knowledgeable.

Its a nice place, great for spending an hour or two but the $6 a person and $2 for the little bag of carrots seems a bit steep (thats why its 4/5. For $6 you should get a free bag of carrots. PRO TIP, buy one bag and then just pick up all the hundreds of carrots everyone else drops. We left with more carrots than we started with. There are cows, llamas, rabbits, chickens, ducks, turtles, peacocks and pigs. Nice time with the kids but not quite worth the $45 for admission and carrots for 5 people.

When we came to visit about 1/3 of the petting farm was closed and they werent offering any pony rides. We were told that this was due to them currently training new staff for the season. The few animals that were out were fun to see. They do not interact much. Once you feed them, they run away. The farm was nice overall. I wish they offered a wider range of hours for those of us who work a M-F 9-5, but still a nice place to take small children when you have the chance.

My entire family loves this farm! We bought a membership and don’t mind driving from Toledo to visit often. Keep in mind when planning your visit that it is a farm not a zoo. The price is very reasonable, and helps to support the care of the animals. The staff is friendly, and the animals are well taken care of. The only thing we haven’t been able to enjoy are the pony rides. We have never seen any ponies while there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the petting farm. There is a wide array of animals to intrigue youngsters of all ages. The facility is attractive and well maintained, though a bit hard to find the turnoff from Earhart Road. Animals include cows, horses, pigs, goats, hens, sheep, llamas, bunnies. The staff is extremely kind and warm towards the children. The only drawback is the price, which is a bit steep for the amount of time spent there.

Nice assortment of animals and conveniently located by major highways. Bathrooms are the only downside- they have them, they just require a bit of a hike to get to because of their position on the grounds and parking setup (they are not a quick trip to from any place in the zoo). They do have changing stations for the little ones.

This is a cute little petting farm. It has basic farm animals and is a really good idea to bring a small child. I went with a coworker of mine and her one year old. I very much enjoyed it. The animals seem to be in very good condition and well taken care of. It was very hot out. There was much shade and water available for the animals. Their was a heat advisory out, so there were not many people. We could rain pretty freely through out the small barn and grassy fields they had. They also had pony ride available, but we did not partake. I also didnt see any ponys. Their gift shop isnt anything interesting unfortunately. I was hoping to find a Nick-nack to take home but it was mostly just childrens toys. Their was also a train that I believe you could go into, but we did not take a close look. Overall, it was super cute and very enjoyable.

Limited animals, done in under 45 minutes. It was winter and the llama, pony, horses had muddy pens with no warm shelter or stimulation that we could see. Couldnt get to the horses, they had it closed off. My 2 1/2 year old enjoyed petting what she could, sheep and goats basically. Pigs were a.w.o.l. Drove an hour and a half to get there, disappointed.
