Absolutely love this place. Its a little local gym for a decent hike in a place where the closet nature trail is roughly 30 to 45 minute away. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the project hasnt changed mu h over the last 4 years. I really hope there is funding behind it soon because in Anderson this really is all we have if you want to just go down the road and enjoy a nature trail alone, with friends or with the pops. Great spots for meditation or to allow your dogs to play in the creek. The creek itself has clear water and doesnt seem to the eye to be that dirty. Love this place and although Im no longer on the east coast definitely somewhere I will visit regularly with my fur babies whenever returning home.

Quiet, serene. Difficult to navigate after a hard rainstorm; probably wait a couple days to explore after raining.

Map is incomplete or incorrect. Map shows closed loops but actually you can walk along the trail by the creek for miles. Few signs and some trails are deadends. Otherwise its maintained well and good for a couple mile walk.

This is the worst marked place Ive ever been in my life! This should not be listed as a park. We followed the trail that was cleared off and ended up 3 miles out of the park behind a neighborhood. We had seen it didnt have great rating, but no comments why... this is why

Visited in December. Very well maintained walking trail. Quiet, only passed 1 person, seen lots of squirrels. Hope to see wildlife in spring and summer.

I’m in the area for work looking for places to run that is not pavement. Went here, it’s very nice. But google does not bring you to the right spot. The parking area is just past the frisbee golf area by the college (not the other side with the sketchy building another commenter mention).

They got a long way to go, could be very nice. Especially with boardwalks thru the swampy areas. Doesnt seem a safe area.

This place could be really nice with little effort but it is not quite there. Doesnt feel quite safe either. The ability for people to walk just anywhere doesnt seem to smart for erosion efforts for a nature preserve. Just some gravel and maybe a bit of direction near the marsh would make so much sense.being a female I would never go here alone. Dark, gloomy, near the hood, especially near the water in mid day it is nearly dark. Trash left behind in many places. I appreciated the security being here when I left my car last time though.

Good place to go to run but not much at all too look at. The trails seemed to be maintained quite well though.

Nice, quiet place to walk your dog away from traffic and no hot pavement. My Golden Retriever enjoyed it! Me too!

Place is abandoned. I was there July 17th 2018. Entrance gate was closed and locked. Trail grass was 3ft high. The building to the left needs to be condemned. It was just a few yards away and obviously has homeless people sleeping in it and leaving trash everywhere. DONT GO HERE
