I don’t ever do these but what happened yesterday was unacceptable, my mom called before hand to asks how many people can be in one theater, the guy on the phone said to my mom 30 people, we get to the theater last night and was told that it’s only 20 people. The guy that was at the front was telling my mom that’s there’s no way he can let in more than 20 people because that’s unlawful, which we totally understand. But what my mom was upset at is the fact that she was informed wrong information, if we would’ve got the right information it would’ve gone a whole different way so we got a refunded and went bowling. Also the guy just had a horrible attitude, he wasn’t listening to what my mom was trying to say and kept saying that he can’t let in more than 20 people, she never once asked if we could do that. You guys need better customer service because his rudeness was uncalled for.

I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. I was eager to return to my favorite theater after the 6 month closure. That I would be cheated and swindled on my return. They are not honoring their combo bucket. And they have like two soda choices. I can’t eat sugar. So I always get an unsweetened iced tea which they now do not have. So they girl offers to get me an ice water which they then charge me full price. The manager who is checking people out will not help and tell me this is standard practice. Well my standard practice will to now go to Regal. Not a very good welcome back for a loyal customer. Epic fail Century 16.

The best theatre I have been too in a long time. Assigned seating so you dont have to scramble for seats, electric heated recliners are very comfy, and the sound system is great. My new go to place for movies.

It was really nice! They do a great job cleaning in between shows and it is awesome to be able to rent a theatre for a private showing for you and your friends for a decent price! It was a blast!

I went and watched Akira with my family and it was great! Delicious, buttery popcorn. The seats recline for extra viewing pleasure. Awesome experience. 10/10

Theater is nice. New seating is very comfy, if a little warm sometimes. Its a problem with leather, real or synthetic. The spacing and arrangement is really nice as it leaves plenty of room around for movement.Concession is good. Prices are reasonable. They have two lines which keeps a good flow and ensures people are handled pretty well. The area around concessions can get a little messy but staff is normally pretty quick. Options are pretty good. Love the candy options and self dispense of drinks. No other theaters in town do this so its nice.Seat costs are on par with theaters in the area.

Seen a bunch of awesome movies with friends and family.

The theatre has changed a lot since I last went here and for the better. Assigned seating is a great way to make sure you get a great seat if you get there early. The reclining chairs are a plus.

Century 16 is my favorite theater to go to. This theater is where my husband and I came right after our wedding in 2010 (in full wedding attire). The majority of my date nights with my hubby are here, girls night, family time, etc. I am addicted to their super nachos, paired with an Icee and popcorn. My family and I have plenty of beautiful memories here.

We go here when we come to town because I think they have some of the comfiest recliners! Yummy snacks! And pretty clean.

Comfy seats and good atmosphere

The staff needs to be checking in on the different theaters and making sure people are being quiet and staying off their phones. There is way too much noise being made by other customers. I shouldn’t have to listen to some idiot talking when I pay to see a movie.

My family enjoyed going to Century every Tuesday and Thursday. Last time we went there an employee insinuated that I was stealing popcorn and soda after paying another employee for it. Obviously I was able to provide a receipt of purchase. I understand the need for security, but dont accuse someone of theft based on the color of their skin without doing research first. It was truly embarrassing in front of my children and myself. We will limit ourselves to Tuesdays only, at this specific theater.

Good to watch movies

Stuck all day at the airport and wanted to see a movie. This theatre does not allow patrons to attend movies with even something as small as a backpack. I understand not letting someone in with luggage, but denying entry for a stranded passenger because of their backpack is ridiculous.

Excellent venue to watch the Metropolitan Opera HD.Seats extended and recline. Sound quality great.From the people around me it appears the concession stand is selling the last food on the planet.Glad the Century 16 does the Met Opera Live.

LOVE the heated seats on a chilly Alaska day. Just be ready on discount Tuesday movie might be sold out and long line at concessions. So I dont normally go on Tuesday.

Decent stadium seating. Screens are a little smaller then what im used to. Staff was super friendly and smiled a lot. Its located at the top of the mall in case you cant find it at first (like me) Id would go back but i prefer a larger screen.

Lines for concessions was horrible. Only had 1 side open and you basically went through one at a time. This is the only issue I have with this theater. The reclining seats and everything else is great.

Would prefer non-reserved seating. the seats reclined. They have at least 23 minutes of previews after the stated starting time. Mondays are senior day pricing $6. Tuesdays also discounted.

Reserved recliner seats are very comfortable. Theater is pretty clean and well kept. Concession moved pretty quickly.

Nice seats but the trashcans are to small and the price of popcorn and soft drinks will bankrupt a person who takes his family.

Nice enough movie theater, with good enough service. Concession stand was only running at half capacity and it wasnt even well stocked on this particular day. Suprising, because it was a Friday, though it wasnt too busy either

The staff is wonderful especially for the early matinee showings on Saturdays! Everything is comfortable and well put together to make sure that the movie experience is the best it can be!

The best cinema in town.The saloons are great, chairs are very good and comfortable and staff are bery kind.The only downside was the theatre shop that was veryyyyyy expensive. A pop corn more than 5 dollars!!!

Place is ok, comfy seats and great sound. Some of the staff are pretty nice, but most of them are basically high school kids with no social skills. A lot of them seem like they really dont want to be at work. Lots of unprofessional behavior, like gossiping, and horseplay between employees. Dont go on Tuesday, its a disaster. Cheaper tickets brings in throngs of people, all of the theater looks terrible, because the patrons are trash pandas.

Heated Reclining seats, wider spaces. All that is missing is great food.

Prices comparable to other theaters in town. Best seats. Electric recline. Big arm rests. Good sound systems. Concessions are good, and of course grossly overpriced. Overall, comfy place to sit and watch even a 3 hour final act to legacy of Superhero movies.

The seats are comfy and the height of where I sat at allowed me to not have to lift up my head so that was good.

I love this theater. The concession stand was a little confusing at first but other than that it’s pretty clean and the staff/environment is inviting.

The place was very clean, but the food selection was very , very limited.

Seat were nice and comfortable , but the clean up between movies was awful! All of our seats were sticky covered in sugar from candy I’m assuming and I had to get my own paper towels from the bathroom because the people we asked to wipe down our seats never came up to do so. Kinda bad service in that aspect might just stick with diamond theater from now on.

Its been there for a while but it stays updated and its on midtown, easy to find.

Severely disappointed at first when I was told I had to chose from the remaining seats... I ended up happy and comfortable with my end seat. Push a button and you are reclining! No need to tuck your feet in for people walking by! As a non frequent movie person, I was happily impressed! Popcorn is good too.

A nice experience since they upgraded the seats. Although the concessions are extremely over priced, but honestly all movie theaters concessions seem to be these days. Overall a well maintained and nice establishment.

Comfort, comfort, comfort! I enjoy the recliner chairs. Service has never let me down. You really need the app for Cinemark to make the cost of movies a little more reasonable.

Watched the new Terminator, theatre was clean, no lines granted it was Tuesday night but you cant beat $6 for a ticket, the reclining seats were comfy, was an overall great experience.

I had just left Regal to go to Century to watch the movie Us (hoping that there were more available seats here). I was called to the counter by a lady, and instead of greeting me she was performing another task in silence (even though she called me over ??). I asked the ticket counter lady if we could all purchase the tickets together, because at Regal group ticket sales has to be done by someone 21 and older. She simply barked out, “yes but i have to see ids. 18 and older”. Her tone was demeaning and I politely asked if it was okay if my friend forgot his id, and she barked out “no!!! id!!!”. After my friend found his id, i went back to the counter to tell her. I instead was greeted with 5 minutes of silence as she was performing the same task but refused to acknowledge me, even though she called me over. I told her he has his id and said we can buy the tickets. She asked me “Does he have his id?” “DOES HE HAVE HIS ID” “DOES HE HAVE HIS ID?!?” 3 times! Every time I said yes!!! Why can’t she just trust my statement instead of raising her attitude for no reason? I always try to be nice to customer service employees, but the attitude of this employee was appalling.

Very disappointed at the Cinemark and their one policy fits all. There was no flexibility when conditions outside the customers ability took place and all the site manager would say is “It is a company policy and we cannot make any exceptions, even in bag country.” Acknowledging that in the inclement weather of Alaska their needs to be accommodations.

His theater isn’t the most technologically advanced in Anchorage but it’s still a great place to experience a good movie. I actually really appreciate the concession stand approach here. Not your traditional on person at a time. Go enjoy Hollywood but get there early so you won’t miss out in the assigned seating for movies that apply.

Pretty amazing when you can recline back and watch a movie like you are at home. The divided more spaced out rows are awesome too. You dont feel so bunched together. Definitely going back. Oh and discounts on Tuesdays!!

I have not been to many movie theaters for some time maybe 3 in the last 5 years.But when Double Tapp was featuring it was a must.I was so upset by our seating in the handicap front row looking up like that for 1 1/2 or so hours and with the volume and distorted screen my head and neck hurt so bad I wanted to cry. They did not explain to me about the choice of seating arrangements or that it was handicapped and we couldnt switch once we pay. Even with a half empty room.I dont know of many handicapped people who can raise their heads up so uncomfortable to see that way. If you think about the majority of wheelchair bound people they have a difficult time raising their heads.

Facility was good and clean. New recliner seats are comfortable. Theater layout is nice too. Snack bar had good selection.

Ive never been to this theater before tonight. I was annoyed that they canceled the showing of the movie I originally went to see, and literally had only one movie playing on every screen (end game). Besides that, and your usual overpriced concessions, the tickets werent too expensive, I believe 12 dollars each, and the seats were easily the most comfortable Ive had the luxury of at a cinema. Though, I dont usually go out to see a movie, so my opinion may just be biased due to the low number of experiences. Whatever the case, as someone who doesnt care to go out to the movies often, next time I go it will most likely be here.... Assuming they dont cancel my movie again xD

The seats were incredible, heated leather recliners. The food service was subpar. Its mostly self serve which is fine but there was SO much popcorn on floor.

Overall a great theater with comfortable chairs. The only downside is that the concession floor is always sticky, the theater staff seems incapable of keeping that floor clean.

No Century 16 I remember when it opened up and this is the reason why I give them five stars is because Through The Years there viewing movie pleasure has increased they have nicer chairs more customer nice or more customer service and the awesome thing is is that pretty much takes all the family you can have all kinds of things that are romantic dates all that kind of into the video games for the kids when you just wanted to be mom and dad or whatever to so you know its a really great place is family oriented or just being out on a date thats why they have five stars

This is a nice local cinema. It used to be the best in town, but that honor now belongs to another location. Stadium style seating is nice and the screening rooms are generally clean. The screens look good, but are sometimes washed out or dim. There is a nice selection of arcade machines if you enjoy that.

Will Someone please answer are we allowed to bring blankets to the movies. I have a field trip tomorrow to Frozen 2 and i want to bring a blanket will someone please see if i/we can.
