Nice park. Theres no public restroom.

Bums, needles and trash everywhere!! Why are all the best parks still closed but these nasty ones are still open??

Nice park, quiet, plenty of shade trees not crowded. Stopped for a short picnic after buying some great tasting Lao food from a nearby Lao/Thai restaurant.

John Marshall Park is a great park for some relaxing family time. They have BBQ pits and a decent sized playground for.

Big enough for a neighbor park, clean but there are homeless camping out there in the evening. The homeless are junkies and I dont feel safe when they are there.

My kids like this park a lot! New playground equipment. Clean. Picnic tables all around that have been freshly painted. Pool during the some where they offer swimming lessons for all ages.

This park is disgusting! There’s homeless everywhere , flies all over the place and the smell ! Oh my the smell is disgusting a mix of homeless and feces ..don’t bring kids here.

Great, clean park. Was not overcrowded when we took our 4 kids. Has a little something for kids of all ages. And LOTS & LOTS of running space for pets as well.

I went there on a Tuesday afternoon and the park was nice, big, and in a clean state. Very surprised at the number of people in the parking lot but it was lunch time. A few shady people but they kept to themselves.

Pretty nice, clean and good looking park

I visited this park on a daily basis until today. Three men dressed in black clothes, wearing backpacks, were blocking people from using the public restroom. They were obviously selling drugs and using the restrooms for their clients to use. This was all happening at 10 AM in broad daylight. Half the park doubles as an elementary school so this is disturbing. I called the police but Im confident they will not arrive on time. They usually come 45 minutes to 2 hours after I make a call.

Its a clean park . police periodicaly do a drive by to make sure everyone is safe. Little playground with swings and slides. Also has an excercising area with A few machines also a small barbe q area. Pretty quiet park . also has an area where soccor teams play . basebAll etc.

Clean bathrooms and great place to rest at when one is on lunchtime

Its a nice park if you live near by and can walk. The parking lot is small and there are usually some shady characters hanging around in the lot. The playground is great for all ages. Theres a large, shaded picnic area with a BBQ which is perfect for parties. I wouldnt recommend going out of your way to visit, since its no different than many of the other parks in Anaheim, but its fun if youre local.

It is a nice quiet park

This park is connected to a brand new elementary school (built 2017). It has pretty good facilities in terms of fields, courts, benches, play area and party hosting area.The park is located off of a major roadway but it doesnt take away from the overall atmosphere. Its also located near a several different residential neighborhoods, so you tend to get a lot of families and folks out and about visiting the park.Generally its pretty safe at night. You still get lots of folks visiting up until late but because of the lack of patrols, you can see RVs parked for extended periods of time.Overall good park. Plenty of space for plenty of people. Great atmosphere for all.

BETTER and CLEANER PORTA POTTIES and the restroom by the basketball courts cleaned n stocked.

Nice Park but too many junkies homeless thats whats going wrong Now a days parks have awesome jungle play areas for kids but full of homeless and drug addicts which are a safe concern. So might as well not go.

This part is really cool for the most part. There’s a baseball field, there’s a large playground, there’s lots of field space, 2 basketball courts, and a sidewalk track to run around. However, there are homeless that reside near the restrooms and that’s near the road so it takes away from the beauty of this park.

Place to have peace and quiet. Until the bums mess things up.

It was raining most the day.....so there left but a puddle and one of two courts functional there played no ballers......

The homelessness crisis really hit this park really hard. Other than that, it used to be a really nice sprawling park with enough space for hundreds of people.

Many homeless people around bathrooms and around private areas for rent. Feels unsafe and uncomfortable.

John Marshall is a great park has a few squirrelly people hanging out on any given day and, their are a dozen or so homeless hanging on any given day but, their harmless.Real nice, big, clean park.

This park has a nice walking path and big, beautiful, mature trees.

I wish there was a tennis court or something else. A mini gym would be great too.

Large field. Colorful playground. Basketball courts. Wood chips as footing in playground. My wife mentioned she thought there should be less trash on the ground. There was a large family gathering at the time. Not sure if this was related. There is a unique spinning thing for kids to play and hang on. Seemed semi dangerous though.

This is a great park! It has lot of shade trees, BBQ grills, picnic tables, a great play ground for kids, 2 baseball fields, bathrooms, and you can walk the park & workout at the various stations, & their is plenty if parking in & along the park. I think this is one of the nicest parks.

The overall park is pretty nice, especially the shadier areas under the trees. The baseball fields are okay, with a clay infield but a very uneven and patchy outfield. The basketball court is cracked and uneven in a few planne but mostly nearer to center court. The playground has nice enough quality equipment but its a bit small for the large volume of kids it gets on weekends and in the afternoons. Also, the playground really isnt kept clean enough and/or adults who come here dont respect it. I see a lot of cigarette butts and other grossness in the woodchip mulch that makes up the surface of the playground. The grass in the immediate vicinity of the playground is also full of small litter that you wouldnt want a toddler picking up.A lot of people in these reviews seem to complain about the homeless population here, which is really not that bad. There are almost always some around, but they mostly keep out of the way and dont bother anyone. I would agree that one often sees people drinking and smoking in the parking lot, however, which is annoying.

Its a fun and great park where you can have events, parties, and family gatherings. The play ground was remodeled and now my grandchildren love it

Its a good sized park with picnic tables and barbecues. We got there too late to enjoy.

The park and the play areas for children are okay. The main playground was recently renovated and it looks great now so that is my reason for giving it three stars but the rest of the park could use some work. First of all there are big numbers of homeless people that hang out in the park making it disgusting and just terrible for family get togethers. The bathrooms are also super filthy and you can tell that the homeless go in there to shower because there is water all over the floor and there is filth everywhere. Besides the hobo problem and the disgusting bathrooms the rest of the park is in okay condition and can be great to play sports in the open areas.
