So much fun! Sure the line can get crazy but that doesn’t matter. You get shoot stuff and score points and just be a kid all over. I’m not sure how correct the scores really are but that doesn’t really matter does it? The cars you ride in are comfortable and it’s easy to get the hang of the ride.

This attraction is such a joy for everyone. No matter how young or old, it fills its riders with a competitive spirit. Even my grandma was trying to sabotage directing the cart so I couldnt shoot any high-point targets!In addition to being very fun, the line typically isnt too long, but also offers fast pass. This ride is a must if you go with someone!

Oh man. What a great ride. Dont waste your time with the circle targets. Go for the triangles or the diamonds. Youll get huge points. Sit on the left, too. Youll get a better shot at better targets, and dont stop shooting. Also, take advantage of the fast pass, youll pretty much walk right on.

More of a younger kid ride, my daughter was 8 at the time, and not a big rider of other rides, se loved this one, she rode it a few times.

Very cool ride for you and one of your kiddos. Especially if your little one is competitive. The que line is filled with Disney magic and is just plain awesome to see. The animated Buzz Lightyear is a must see. A little tip. Shoot the targets that are behind the easy ones, they give more points.

First, let me tell you how competitive I was during the three times I rode this. The first time, my friend and I were competing for the better score, but he beat me by 900 points with the final scores being 22,500 - 23,400. So, of course, I had to come back at him. The second time we tried competing for the better score, I beat my friend by 166,500 points with the final scores being 181,800 - 15,000. Finally, we had to settle the tied score, so we went for a third time. The result was that I ended up beating my friend by 191,800 points with the final scores being 345,500 - 153,700. I have three secrets to increase your scores! First, shoot the diamonds and triangles (Hint: You will get them by spinning your vehicle). Second, shoot the targets that are lit up. They will give you 10x more points than the actual target value. This is what I did to get a significant lead when he was winning in the second round. Finally, Zurg appears 2 times throughout the ride. Do you think he is just an animatronic? Nope! He actually holds a secret target which is worth 50,000 points. The target is right in between his chest plates under the Z. Anyway, I will say though. The next time I visit the Disneyland Park, I will definitely revisit this!

This is still one of my favorite rides in the park. My kids are getting older now so the competition is a lot more fun now that they actually hit targets. They still havent beat me though. Definitely a great ride for everyone to enjoy no matter the age. There are hidden targets in the dead center of Zurgs chest worth a LOT of points. You can barely see them. Also red targets on the ceiling in the dark hallway. Good luck.

Super boring. The same ride but done well is in the california park, they should turn this into something better

Usually a quick line and a lot of interactive fun. Not as fun as Midway Mania in California Adventure, but still a lot of fun.

A fun interactive dark ride the kids will enjoy. This is the same as the ride in Disney World aside from the guns being slightly different. You are assisting Buzz Lightyear in taking down the evil Zorg. It’s a buggy ride that you use handheld laser guns to shoot at targets and take out the evils Zorg.

No little ones in our party when we go but this is always a must do. We love getting to see the Buzz Lightyear animatronic and everything else in the queue. Not only do you get a charming ride but you also get a fun game! Just do youre best to aim and fire, fire, fire. If the ride pauses you can usually keep shooting the targets to get a higher score. Do note: on this ride, the cars and the platform move as you get in them.

Extremely fun, interactive, cool ride in Disneyland. Always a must do ride for us! It is such a great time getting to play a game while on a ride.

Pretty good ride! It could definitely use a refresh. Especially if you were to compare it to the toy story mania in California adventures. It’s a fun game especially for little kids as they seem to love it! The wait isn’t too bad usually.

Very fun attraction! Combines the simplistic fun of fantasyland rides with the interactive piece of competitive target shooting. You’re helping buzz light year and the little green men defeat emperor zurg. Highly recommend!

Overall a fun experience, sitting in a modified clamshell you “shoot” at targets trying to save the universe.The ride itself is fun, the blasters have an odd aim in that you need to be a few inches off, don’t aim start, aim a little to the left or right and your ok.You can see where this was either the beta for Toy Story Mania or they got the idea from this ride.

This ride is really cool! You get to go in and use a laser gun to shoot at targets. Your vehicle has a little knob you can use to spin yourself around and around as you shoot. I like this ride more than Midway Mania because you just need to push a button on your laser gun rather than yank on a string, and the ability to spin on your own is pretty cool. The atmosphere as you wait in line is also way cooler than Midway Mania because you get to pass by a Buzz Lightyear animatronic.

Itś just like the Toy Story ride in the other parki except youŕe shooting space robots and the bad part is that Buzz does not even help you, he only helps when you are about to get on the ride. He only comes in towards the end of the ride. Little kids might get scared of the lights and sounds also the robots.

An awesome slower roller coaster that people of any age can do.The added bonus of get to shoot targets, get points and spin the capsule makes it even better.

A nice little ride if your waiting for something (like if your waiting for someone on a different ride). Has the same concept as Toy Story Midway Mania. Also has a nice gift shop at the exit.

Such a fun ride! Love how it’s interactive and you get to compete against the person you’re with. Pays to know where the good targets are too - can help you rack up a lot of points. This is a frequent stop for us at Disneyland and the line is often short in the evening. Fast Passes are sometimes available at night for the time you get them, allowing you to skip everyone in line.

I had so much fun on this ride! I wasnt great at it, but I loved how interactive it was. My uncle who is in a wheelchair was even able to get on this ride and enjoy the fun, so it made the ride that much sweeter!

Located in Tomorrowland across from Star Tours. Fastpasses are available. This is a dark shooting gallery ride. On the Disneyland ride the guns are removable from the holster which makes it easier to aim.There are 4 different shaped targets which are worth different numbers of points: round (100 points), square (1,000 points), diamond (5,000 points), and triangle (10,000 points). You can spin your car around to access hard to reach targets. You will be ranked on your total score for the day.In the second to last room where you are fighting Zurg they will take your photo and after you get off the ride you can email to yourself, or anyone else, for free. Thats right, free!The line can get long but it does move rapidly. A lot of the line is outside in the bright Southern California sunshine.Each car has 2 guns and can carry at least 2 people. Small ones can sit on your lap.In the queue is a pretty cool -theres a large sized automated Buzz that tells you what the mission is. Hes pretty cool.

I love buzzs astro blasters, its so fun for my young kids, but also very fun for me. A must when at Disneyland and the lines are typically short compared to the others!

Its a great idea, but they didnt execute it as well as they could have. As you make your way through the ride, youre able to shoot a bunch of targets. Oh, cool you might think, but be warned, The Blasters are very inaccurate. Its about a 50-50 chance whether youre going to get an accurate gun or one where you have to aim a few inches off in a certain direction to hit the target. Overall, its a fun ride but it needs some improvement.

Kids will love this one.Challenge them for high score.Usually they will live to ride it again

Real fun game, dark-ride-like attraction in Tomorrowland.You shoot a laser gun while on a slow Fantasyland-like ride, aiming and firing at different targets earning points. At the end your total score is added up .Play to different levels trying to outscore the people in your party.A whole lot of fun and rarely a line longer then a half hour.

I am terrible at the mini game in this ride but it’s incredibly fun. Just riding along and shooting things with the lazer was fun until I discovered the middle joystick on the ride that rotation the cart in a 180 degrees rotation each direction. So much fun we went twice. Definitely recommend it.

Its such a fun ride. Competition while enjoying the Buzz Lightyear theme. Very well done and a lot of fun!

Tons of fun. There are two guns per car you ride in. It can be a little hard to aim or a bit unresponsive but always aim for the lit up targets for extra points. Its the only ride in the park where you get your photo for free. The photo also captures your score to compare with friends. Just email it to yourself after the ride.

Simple and fun ride, but dont expect the blasters to be anything like proper lasertag guns. The swivel feature of the carts wasnt terribly useful.

This ride always has long lines but it tends to move quickly. There is a fast pass available if you want to avoid the long line.This is an interactive ride where you board a little spaceship (2 people per spaceship) and shoot at the orange targets along the way while controlling the spaceship to accumulate as many points as you can. Depending on your total points, you achieve a certain officer ranking.At the end of the ride, you can see a picture of yourself and your partner with your respective scores on a video screen. You can actually have the picture be sent to your email account as a souvenir.

A fun toy story - buzz light year themed shoot Em dark ride. The queue is nicely themed and the right is fun with lots of silly targets to shoot. The lone mark against it is that the ride is showing its age. Not only physically, needing touch up paint and such, but also in its basic idea, being outshines by newer shoot em up rides. That said, the line is normally short and even old and familiar its still a fun ride.

Pew pew pew pew pew! This ride is always a favorite. I love that you can email yourself your score afterwards. There is rarely a moment when you are standing in one spot in line for very long. Since the ride boards constantly, you are at least shuffling until you board which helps keep your feet from getting too sore like they might while waiting in line for other rides.

This ride is fun and interactive.As you ride through space you shoot down the minions of Zurg. The end is a battle against the evil emperor himself. Aim true because the fate of the galaxy is in your hands.The ride has lots to see and the cars can be rotated via a joystick in the car. Because of the interactive nature of the ride or definitely is one to be enjoyed over & over.

The only ride we tried in the park thats part arcade since youll be shooting targets while your ride moves along a conveyor. Your score is tracked too. The wait is worth it.

This is a very fun ride! It’s great for all ages.

We used the MaxPass system to get a FastPass for this ride which was definitely the way to go as this ride had a very long line all day. With the FastPass we basically walked right onto the ride. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is like being in a continuous arcade shooting gallery. You try to hit the targets to accumulate points. The ride stopped a few times so I was able to rack up points pretty well. We enjoyed this ride and would definitely do it again.

An all time interactive shooter favorite. So much fun to be able to help Buzz save the Galaxy. I have been on it more then a hundred times and will go on it hundreds more! Personal best score is 2.5 million. If you see lgm on top score. Little green men its always tough to beat, must be a cast member.

The most fun Interactive ride in the park! Its always nice when the ride stops for a minute when youre on the ride and The Blasters are active. The first time I went on with my wife she beat me, but the next two after that she stood no chance. Once I was warmed up there was no stopping me. By the Third runs through I got over a hundred thousand points and she got a mere 46,000. I won that day. Will she have her revenge? Probably not

Great shooting gallery ride themed after Toy Story. Just like the one in Orlando. Youll have a great time with the kids competing for high scores.

I love Astro-Blasters. This is a fun competitive ride. I dislike the long waits and how filthy the ride has become. It is gross and nasty to touch any part of the ride.

Aimed shots for majority of the time miss and scores appear random. I tired multiple times to figure out how this ride works, it doesnt. Doubt the park cares, people seem to have fun with it anyway. If youre a competitive gamer, you will not have fun.

Creative and interactive, but it wasnt that interesting. Great competition if youre in a group but it stops often and Im not sure if its that exciting.

Not much complex animatronics and effects on the ride itself (other than Buzz in the pre-show), but thats not the main attraction: You aiming for the high score is! Line up those sights and get your trigger finger ready! Dont forget to email yourself a free photo of you and your score!

This seemed much shorter than the one in Florida plus I dont think my laser was very accurate. Still a nice ride and good time.

This ride is an interactive shooting where you help Buzz Lightyear defeat Zurg. I notice that the blasters are not as accurate or working properly. This is a two rider game and they take a picture of you during the ride. At the end you can go to a kiosk to have the photo sent to your email.

This was a fairly fun ride, but we were only at the beginning and it shut down. The staff was very courteous though and we got to ride some attractions without waiting in line for our patience.
