I visited this place a couple of months ago just to check it out, but did not workout. But, recently I became a member and actually used their equipment and I have to say I absolutely love it. The way they set up the workout areas is very easy to navigate and find the machines you are looking for. They also have several cardio classes for you to choose from. What ever you are into or fitness level; Golds Gym has it. Very clean and big bathrooms. Also very friendly staff members. I highly recommend Golds Gym.

The pandemic hit everyone, and the financial worries effected us all. For me it was extremely difficult to hear that my account has been over drawn and when I found out it was from golds gym I was furious because I did not remember signing up. I called management who assured me everything would be taken care of and they would swiftly refund the money after I describe the scenario and give them all the information needed to ascertain that the situation was such that the money should never have been taken since I did not sign up but had responded simply to an email stating that they were going to reopen and wanted to get information out to those who would be interested and possibly signing up for a membership. Management assured me that the money would be replaced to my card within 24 hours unfortunately though it has been a month now and I have had to chase down management time and time again to get their commitments that they were on top of it and that they would take care of it but again they duck and tail and do not respond to any of my calls only giving face when I call. Here we are 30 days later after I discovered the frivolous charges and illegitimate account that somehow started during the pandemic when the gym was not even open which is the biggest insult and management still has failed to take the initiative and return the charges citing that its out of their control and has to deal with a back-end marketing group. Everyone was hurt during this pandemic financially and this directly caused great financial hardship to me to which management said they cared but then time and time again show that they do not. This gym and their management is only interested in what accounts they can create and hold on to and then lies to customers telling them that they will financially refund the money only to hang up and high five each other that they hit their bonus. this is not the type of company nor the type of management that we need during this time.

Be avoided this Gym.I got 30 Days pass from Facebook, I just got here and Shilon told me that, Im not able to using the pass, because Im not live in Anaheim. I live Orange. Orange right next to Anaheim. Only 7 miles from gym residents can use that membership? How funny !!!!Suddenly he startes sells me membership front of desk.You should apologize me first. WTF... Who want to buy membership with this feeling ? And where is the tour ? I told him.i dont even know how gym looks like. Where is my question goes ??? They need to limit the amount of people allowed in the building. We have people working out with their mask below their noses in a crowded room. Everything is left to the customers for cleanliness, the staff are rarely if never out of the front desk. Shame on golds gym.

When i signed my contract they told me I could cancel without a fee as long as I show my military orders. I had to contract the BBB to get out of my contract. MILITARY DONT GO HERE! AS A MILITARY FAMILY WE DONT GET TO CHOOSE where WE are stationed. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Do not sign up at this gym or any Golds gym ,I have a Headache trying to Resolve the issues on why they keep deducting money from my account , When i ask to talk to manager they make up excuses that his busy to leave my number and that they well get back at me which they never do .They are Money hungry and thats all they care about .SAVE YOUR SELF FROM HEADACHES and Do not sign up with Amilcar Archila if your a female , he will be texting every single day trying to get in your pants .

I’ve held back from writing this bad review a few times but I feel this time I shouldn’t.I was charged a late fee of $20 because I didn’t pay my fee before the 10th even after I reached out and called the gym a few days before to double check if my account was charged or not. I was told I was good and didnt have to worry. FF a few days later, they can’t waive the fee because I already had a fee waived earlier this year due to another previous miscommunication. I dont think it’s fair, and super exhausting dealing with fees and poor customer service.

These people look for any way to kick you out of their gym. They do this because its overcrowded. Never enough sanitation supplies. Wouldnt be surprised if its swarming with Coronavirus.

When I opened my membership they treated me very well and asked for the membership to allow me to bring a guest the next day I went, the girl treated me very badly with my guest and she told me that if I wanted to cancel my membership, she would do it at the time

I have reached to my rep and 4 different mangers to connect with me on my account they all say they will get back to me and no one follows up. They just want your $$$ I have spent $1000’s of dollars with them and they don’t have the decency to call me back. I was going to have them come into my office to recruit 300 people to join and they won’t even call me back. Customer service is extremely poor. If you want to feel hustled for your $$ then go to this gym because they don’t care about you just the $$$! Super sad as for I too am in sales and they are definitely sleazy gym. Run fast and far form them!!

I am a long time golds gym member and was visiting from out of town. Was treated terribly and rudely by the front desk when I simply wanted to use a guest pass for my friend to work out with. Was made to wait for a sales rep before allowing to work out, with no reasonable expectation of how long to wait. Definitely avoid this location if you are a golds member from out of town looking to workout with a friend. The lack of flexibility and rudeness was outstanding.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a gym. Worst customer service . Nobody ever has answers and never in favor of customer. Don’t be fooled by the flashy gym cuz the staff is horrible. Tricked me into getting a membership and advertised they were opening a gym near me within a month, and here we are 6 MONTHS later. No gym and no help to cancel a member. Now im stuck in a contract

Ive now attempted to cancel my gym membership for 4 months now. I live 130+ miles away so im unable to do this in person but I was told the employees that im able to cancel over email or phone with Andrew (Manager). Ive made numerous attempts to contact Andrew (10+times) at different hours but i still havent been able to get a hold of him. Everytime I call Im told by Ms. Carrillo (assistant manager) or other employees that hes either in lunch, break or unavailable and that no one else is able to help me. I have paid more then $100 since I started this process. I highly advise anyone who is looking to join this gym to consider any other place.

Love the gym, machines kept clean and they provide many different opportunities for your workout and workout routine. Trainers, classes, and much more! Do need to keep first aid equipment fully stocked as I did smash my finger on a machine and there were no band aids or antibacterial items provided when asked for some.

I been coming here for a year and I really like it. It has a theater room where you can see a movie and work out. Every day is a different movie. They also have a pool and a cycling room. They just added more equipment to meet peoples demands.

Signed up today for the basic membership, Margarita was very helpful and answered all my questions. Her people skills are spot on (excellent)!!! Facility is very clean and staff is welcoming. They had a good sign up special at the time. Towards the end of the year is the best time to sign up for membership (best prices around the holidays). Thanks Golds Gym !!!

It took almost 3 weeks to replace a broken heater for its outdoor jacuzzi with a new heater since 3/7/2019. The jacuzzi pool water has troubles to keep a normal temperature of the promised 98 ℉ since 10/10/2018. I have sometimes measured as low as 88 - 89 ℉ by a laser temperature gun at the water surface of the outdoor jacuzzi pool. However, the gym manage only cares his own way to measure the jacuzzi temperature at an inside computerized heater hooked with a water pipe in the closed-space heater room, not the wide-open water in the outdoor jacuzzi pool.===========================As 4/2/2019 7pm the General Mgr. Frank Ramirez told me the jacuzzi water heater was broken again today and he would call a water heater professional to fix it soon. It has been happening much frequently than normal acceptance and all customers stuck in their annual contracts without cancel memberships!===========================As of 4/13/2019 General Mgr Frank Ramirez kept on asking me to patiently wait for their jacuzzi water heater second-time broken-down again since 4/2/2019 for 12 days already and keeping on shutdown until their new heater order arriving in the near future. I do NOT understand why other fitness centers have no such problems to keep up the jacuzzi water temperature high at least 97 degree Fahrenheit and never have 78 degree today as I have measured it today by using a laser temperature gun at the Golds Gym jacuzzi water surface 78 degree. Their men locker rooms dyer (only the water raising function) and some missing cloth hangers have been missing since at least a month ago and never been fixed yet. I do NOT recommend anyone to use their jacuzzi and men locker room. I have lower their rate from 3 stars to 2 stars since today 4/14/2019.

I dont recomend Golds Gym. If you want good quality gym and amazing customer service go to Equinox, Crunch or Planet Fitness. They will let you try the gym for free before signing up.Why 1-star: I already have a gym membership but figured Ill swap if this one is better. Just a block from my house, very convenient. They had a free 7-day pass so I signed up and went there to try. Edgar gave me a tour. Gym looked OK but super crowded. He told me I cant use the 7-day pass since I tried another location in San Francisco several years ago. I had to sign up first, pay and then try. I had to leave if I didnt sign so I did.They might have won me as a member if they let me use the free 7-day pass which they were already offering. Even just an hour to check the locker rooms and some of the machines would have been enough. How much would it have cost them? There are plenty of gyms around here and they all let you try the facility before signing up.

Current member here. The gym itself is very small, hardly any room to workout. I just make it work since I made the mistake of signing up for a year.I tried to bring my husband for the 30 day trial since they gave me a voucher but they said he couldnt use it because he was my guest there before. How is someone supposed to be confident about signing up when they wont even let you try the gym?Then it dawned on me, THAT is why they wont let you try the gym. They will say anything just to get you to sign up and if they cant fool you, then they treat you like sh*t.Cant wait for my membership to end.

Went in on Monday( I currently work out across the street at Planet Fitness)So I was excited to check out this new gym, and I received a promotion rate on a flyer that was mailed to me . It ended up being a waste of my time , I checked in at the front desk filled out their waiver (Sergio R.) after waiting for 30 minutes in the lobby I let the front seat know that I was going to leave in 5 minutes if I wasn’t helped or given a tour.after the minutes still no one so the reception gave me a tour but couldn’t provide prices I had to discuss that with a sales agent so I left my name and phone number I was told that someone would call me with that information but never got a call. The funny thing is that the next day I got an email basically letting me know that the promotion would expire soon and asking me to come in ASAP(in other words).

I come here regularly, friendly staff, great environment. Called a few weeks back and asked if my friends brother (who is a minor and Id be accompanying him the entire time) could just try it out BEFORE he signed up to make sure he liked it, and felt comfortable there. Called the front desk, not sure his name but the Asian guy answered and asked him if my friends brother could try it out. He asked me the basic questions like how old and whatever. I gave him the info, and said no because your membership doesnt have any guest passes so that irritated me, because a few weeks prior, I took my sister and her boyfriend with me and they tried it out with no problems at all. So I kept asking why he couldnt try it out, before to see if he likes it so he can sign up. But he kept on saying that he couldnt try it, because he was a minor(even with me accompanying him the entire time) and kept saying he couldnt come just because he wasnt a member. Staff member sounded very uneducated as far as whats going on in the gym. So I told him its fine Ill talk to johnny then he gave me an attitude and said ok you do that then. not sure what his issue was that day or what his problem is, but someone needs to have him chill. Instead of refusing to say well how bout you come in, and we can figure something out or since hes a minor he needs an adult 18+ to be with him the whole time, so just have him come in and well give him some information and give him a tour and let him try it out. staff member needs to work on his communication, customer service, and people skills.

Brand new facility and friendly staff. My son (13yrs old) and I recently had our welcome to. It was suppose to be separate but computer wise something happened and we had ours together. I cannot complain about the personal trainer we had. He really focused on my son and was patient, very informative, and really INSPIRED my son.Our personal trainer was amazing!!! I will update when I remember his name.Since two people were doing the intro together I feel were shortened in time and individual focus. I only wished we had more time.

Best gym to go to in Anaheim no doubt. Very clean. Staff is very nice always with a smile on their face that makes you feel welcome. Great equipment brand new. They also have child care in case you have kids and dont have any body to take care of them they do that for you.

I worked with Frank Ramirez, General Manager, to cancel my membership for months now. I actually transferred my membership from the Fullerton location to Anaheim. Frank and another sales person created two contracts for me. I got that resolved working with Frank for over three weeks. My membership was supposed to end in November. I paid for the first and the last month. Somehow I was charged for November again.I emailed Frank Ramirez the General Manager. He said he will issue the refund via email. Its almost a month and half now. He does not respond to my emails and or come to the phone.This is the worst customer service I received from a person who holds the General Manager title. I was expecting good customer service from the beginning to the end of the service.People who are at the front desk like Cameo Rodriguez is trying to find a way to pass this. First she said I did not pay the last month fee when I signed up. Not even 10 minutes later, Cameo called me and said, it was because I did not give 30 day notice. I filed a complaint with the Best Business Bureau (BBB) today. I also emailed and contacted the Golds Gym executives from the CEO to the Senior Vice President of Franchising via LinkedIn.I saw a few comments from the owner, requesting to come see General Manager to resolve their issues. If its cancellation, you just need to cancel your credit card and file a dispute. Banks have very good customer service than at Golds gym. The whole team, including the General Manager Frank Ramirez at Anaheim location need training on customer service and how to handle account cancellations.

This crazy place with incompetence staffs. I got stopped and asked for the same stupid questions over and over again. Apparently they asked just to ask. Nothing been resolved and updated/fixed. And the most annoying part is that they have untrained staffs telling you that you didn’t pay for certain services and made you feel so cheap for not paying but still want to get free services from them when you not only did pay in full for one year but 2. They stopped me couple times and told me that this is my last time they allowed me to use some services that I paid in full for just because their systems are not correctly updated. They need to change the way they approach customers. I don’t understand why they hired a bunch of kids working here and think they are in control of allowing me when to use the service that I paid for. When I asked to speak to a manager, the kid said he is not here and won’t be here until Tuesday, and today is Saturday. Arrhhh!!! I sure will call again to their head quarter in TX on Monday to file a complain. Too bad that I paid for 2 years already. :(

This gym is brand new. It is crowded right now due to the new year factor. Attrition will start soon as those that set the new years goal to get in shape, lose weight fail to launch. Hey Ive been one of them. I currently left Chuze fitness to join Golds Gym based upon the free weight benches. I am so far satisfied with my membership as far as amenities. I will probably leave after my year membership due to the fact that I want to add my children to my membership for a total of four memberships.(an additional two including them) I pay about $40 a month and I wanted to add them for an additional $9.95. I asked one of the sales reps there but they were adamant about a $60.00 charge for each additional account before i could sign them up for $9.95. I am not willing to do that, I figure after my year is up I will have more bargaining effort to join somewhere else. Other than that I have no complaints.The staff is friendly, and always welcome me upon entering. There are a lot of options here including some workout machinery or setups that are different. I look forward to checking out the classes while under contract for a year. If they ever offer me to add my kids for an additional 9.95 per kid hey Id stay.

Very nice and new gym. Staff is friendly and there always tends to be a sale for gym membership. They have different plans that include a variety of things such as towels, pool access, and water massage therapy. The only bad thing is that it isnt 24 hours. If you need to go to the gym in the middle of the night, 24 Fitness is your best bet

The Gym itself is top of the line with new and innovative machines. The staff is well rounded and informed. I appreciate the cleanliness of this facility. I called the gym to get information inquiring for personal training jobs and the receptionist was very informative and professional. She suggested for me to come down to the gym and talk to the manager so I did that.I get there and I am greeted with cheerful girls and introduced myself. They told to wait on the lobby area so I did (15 minutes) A guy comes out( not the manager) and introduced himself to me and proceeded to ask why I was there. He treated me like I was trying to get a membership as he gave me a tour of the gym asking how many times I workout and my fitness goals. (My last job was selling gym memberships so I know that play)We sit down and he started aggressively pushing me to get a membership and bluntly ignored all my questions about personal training job. He then walks over to the actual manager to say something(the manager manners appeared to be very rude and couldn’t give a care) He walks back and at this point I am dying inside with the amount of unprofessionalism this place has....they still send me membership information every other day. If you care about customer service and genuine people that aren’t just trying to push sales, I recommend 24 Hour Fitness. (For both work or actual membership)

I just recently got a membership at this gym, when I sat with a salesperson I asked if they had any promotions he said he doesnt think so. Then two days later I search the gym online for location and I see this promo that says you can join for 9.95 a month. Im gonna go to the gym because i have a subscription, but the moment it is done Im getting out of here. I really dont appreciate being done like that. Other than that the staff is friendly and the gym is really nice.

Beware!!! Dont sign up for this gym!!!My husband and I had extreme difficulty in claiming our groupons and have had additional problems in signing up for childcare at the Anaheim/Garden Grove gym 10870 Katella Avenue Anaheim Ca 92804. In regards to the Groupons we had for this gym, no one knew what to do. They tried asking one another for help with no prevail. They claimed and tried scanning the barcode on my phone(please see attachments). I told them I would come back later after 45 minutes of no success in figuring it out. I came back that evening and spent another hour and a half with them. The manager had to come out. It was really unorganized and stressful for myself and my spouse who I had to constantly contact. I ended up having to buy the membership in order to use the groupon as a credit since they said my husband couldntclaim his because he did a one week free trial? Nowhere on the groupondoes it state it cant be claimed if a prior promotionwas used, and we paid $20 for 1 month, it wasnt free. It could have been a positive, friendly experience, but I felt more hustled than anything and like the Groupon was a scam in that the staff said I could not claim it.After all that, just now I tried to take my children to the childcare today and it was another headache and waste of time for myself and several employees. I was told I could sign up at the front desk, then told I have to sign up in childcare. After filling everything out and taking out cash to pay, I was told they dont accept cash & to go back to the front desk. The front desk associate didnt appear to know what he was doing and the childcare staff had to help him. First I was told this month was prorated by the male staff member, then I was told it would not be prorated by the female childcare staff member/that the contract would have me lose 10 days of childcare since I am starting mid month. I asked if they could prorate it so I pay for the remainder of the month and not lose an additional $15. I asked if I could speak to a manager. While I waited for the manager I was told the contract was 3 months. This information should have been disclosed to me before I spent all of this time filling out my childrens information cards. The manager had me waiting for her an additional 15 minutes on top of all the time I spent filling out forms and setting up the childcare with front desk and childcare staff. She came off like she did not have time for my question and was rushing me through it with her ahas. Ultimately quickly responding saying there was nothing she can do. After I asked for her name and let her know I would be contacting customer care she said I could come back to sign up for childcare 5 days b4 the end of the month for the upcoming month. I want to workout and utilize childcare today, not wait two more weeks without working out because their policy has me pay for childcare that I didnt receive.My experience with this gym has lacked so much I am left baffled. I thought that this gym was more family oriented treating everyone like family. Instead it has been far from that, very disorganized, inefficient and left me feeling neglected, unappreciated and helpless. It appears to be a luxury gym, but lacks the #1 thing people receive with luxury, excellent customer service. Corporate in Dallas Texas said this is a franchise and privately owned and gave me a franchise email to contact. The franchise email response said to follow up with the gym. I was just passed around in a full circle. Not worth all this headache to get nowhere and be treated in such an insignificant disrecpectful way once you sign their contract. Looks and people can be deceiving. You deserve to get what you pay for. In my opinion a more appropriate name for this gym would be Bronzes Gym. Gold and the yellow in the sign is misleading in that you expect quality. Joe Gold doesnt even own it anymore. You deserve to get what you pay for. My experience at golds gym was horrible I tried canceling my membership in February I was told to fill out a paper and wait for the manager the employees didn’t bother to give the manager the paper I filled out instead they had me wait 30 min for nothing because eventually the manager went home. I went back again in March the manager was rude about the whole cancellation process. He was even proud of himself to have ruined my day. I would not recommend this gym to anyone the employees at the front don’t know what they’re doing and the manger is rude.

Should have read the reviews before signing up for the 7 day free pass which i will not be using. Gentle men that helped us, ( i already forgot your name, lucky you) lacked customer service. He didnt really want to give us a tour, and the minute we said we were just shopping around and looking he didnt care, kept pushing telling us that he will give us a price once we give him a date where we will commit? The told us that if we had no other questions that he had another appointment someone else showed us the gym, gym was horribly packed with people (as per other reviewers), very small and everything close together. But for sure that guys attitude did it for me and my boyfriend, will be checking out other places. Please if you are looking for a gym with great customer service without someone basically wanting to force you to commit, LOOK ELSEWHERE, STAY AWAY!!! Not worth it!

This gym is pretty nice and clean however when it comes to customer service and hospitality Violetta needs to be conditioned. What I experienced within the first 2 minutes of entering Golds Gym was unnecessary. No empathy and horrible enegry from this young lady. After explaining to Violetta that I needed a day pass she proceeds to tell me that I will be charged $20, I continued to communicate that a pass was sent to my email and that I recently moved across the street. I showed her my identification card and email, she tells me that she can not honor the pass because my I.D. shows my old address. At this point she becomes very dismissive and rude in a nutshell. I asked to speak to a manager and I meet and briefly speak to him...he honors the pass and seats me with a golds gym fitness representative who gibes me a grand tour.... By the time I make my round I decided not to do business or workout at this gym since my enegry was off and the discrimination I felt. I will never do business with Golds Gym or purchase any merchandise based on my initial contact with the young lady at the front desk.

By far one of the worst gyms I have been to. Even though it is only about a year old half the equipment like a majority of the staff, including upper management, dont function properly. Regardless of it being a business establishment, what they preach to be contradicts what they actually are. Extremely low quality service all around. Planet Fitness has better equipment and customer service in comparison to this piss poor excuse of a gym.

Ive been a member since they opened and this gym is fantastic, always clean and all the gym equipment actually works unlike other locations. However when it comes to customer service its a different story, the staff is friendly but really unknowledgeable.last year I had to leave for an overseas deployment. I notified the gym before I left to put my membership on hold and they said sure, just bring some proof that youre leaving for military duty. The next day I walk in with a copy of my orders and I gave it to one of the staff members at the front desk. The staff member looks at me and is like it says here youre just moving to Texas, then I had to explain to him that pre-mobilizing station is in Texas not our mobilization and I also told him the destination shouldnt matter as long its official documentation. He just nodded his head and was like aha.Fast forward 11 month, no pause nor hold was put on my membership. I was charged around $350 through the time I was gone. I came in after and explained my situation to a staff member then I was told to come in at a different time. Second time I go their, and again they seemed confused and was told theyll forward it to the office . Hell if I know what that means. Waited a week with no response, so I decided to let my bank fix it. However they were only able to refund me the last 60 days and stop all future payments with the Gym.If I knew I was going to pay that much money for nothing, I wouldve definitely canceled my membership before I left, and just paid the cancelation fee. Wouldve been cheaper !!!I appreciate your respondHonestly, I dont recall anyone telling me about waiting 90 days nor a full refund. I was told maybe Ill get a 6 month refund. I understand you need approval from the main office to issue a refund, however a 90 day time period is an absolutely unreasonable time frame. If a customers has to wait 90 days for a refund, they will eliminate the possibility to dispute the charges with their bank incase your office didnt approve it.

There is a Large range of equipment and free space. The pool is nice, the steem room feels wonderful. The staff is very helpful with any questions. There is no Sauna at this location in particular, however there are massage beds and they feel good. they have good music to work out to, i dont feel like i need to play my own. Its a very welcoming environment for anyone looking to better their physical health. 10/10 prefer this gym.

Worst customer service on the front desk every Sunday I come to the Gym I try to bring a freind to signed in ....and must of them get a membership....ans the face reaction and the attitude of this girl is very bad .its so bad she always gets someone else to help me ......and thats why I cant bring any body else any more the manager says one thing and the front desk says onother ....very bad ......love the gym not the staff in the front desk they need a lot of work ...

This Golds Gym is shady AF.They charged me a late fee because there was an issue with the payment method on file. But they only contacted me AFTER charging the fee. No courtesy call, email, or text...Ive been using the same credit card since they opened in late 2017 and have never had an issue.Good job on the shady business practices. I hope you enjoy the extra $20, and losing years of my business. Cancelled immediately

I came in to try and get a workout in, I’m not from the area, I asked for a one day pass at rhe front desk, was told $20 for a day pass?!! That’s CRAZY!!! That’s a monthly membership!!! I tried to be as polite as possible even when the guy at the front desk seemed to be more interested in getting to leave the gym then letting me workout.. Ridiculous.

The Fyre Festival of gym memberships. If you want to be promised great things and leave feeling defrauded and pondering legal action this is the place for you.My experience at Golds started innocent enough and like many others with a great deal on a great promotion prior to the gym opening... refer 3 friends and get your second year free. Great.. referred those 3 friends (sorry, guys) Well, surprise surprise fast forward to the second year and of course my second year free has never come and I have continued to have been charged monthly. After months of continuing to be billed and reaching out to customer support at the gym where I was promised over and over by the door person that the GM (FRANK RAMIREZ) was not available at the moment but would be reaching out to me assist (which of course never happened) being so disgusted with this experience ive decided to give up on the fight to get my money back and get what I was promised and forced to terminate my membership.Even after feeling so defrauded and defeated, I wouldnt have even been compelled to write this review had I not noticed the GM (FRANK RAMIREZ), even until the bitter end pull one last unethical scam. After completing my termination sheet which I clearly indicated my reason for termination was poor customer support I saw him enter it in their system under a different termination reason (obviously as a coverup for whatever internal metrics he is graded on) Well congrats Frank because because of your complete ineptitude and fraudulent behavior as a GM I will now be posting this lengthy negative reviews on every single social media platform. ;)Now onto the actual gym experience or rather lack thereof. Golds has signed up so many members to this location and have even included in their membership the ability to bring a +1 that it is near impossible to get in any sort of workout in due to overwhelming overcrowding during general hours. Even when you try to go during off hours you soon realize there are no such thing as offhours at this gym because everyone else is trying the same.If you are considering joining please save yourself and join another gym. Literally any other gym. I would recommend gyms ive gone to in the past that I dont even like over this gym because anything is better than the experience and customer support you get at Golds. They make cable companies look like saints.I hope this review helps someone somewhere and Im sure that like Fyre Festival or any other fraud people will get wise to this scam and move on.

I was from out of town for 3 days so I decided to go to this gym but MY GOD the receptionist (woman with black hair and glasses) was really rude. When I would go in and say goodmorning she would ignore it. She wouldnt even smile at all. It really made me feel unwelcome and like I didnt belong there. Its a shame because its a nice location and incredibly a nice and clean gym.

1/2 the time you try to use a machine it is being used by idiotic circuit training people. It is horrible that one person can occupy 5+ machines and have other people wait for a long time to use one damn machine. I hate that the management doesnt care about this and I despise that management doesnt enforce the rule of not permitting cameras or photography in the locker/restroom/bathing area. Every time I go to use the shower or use the changing room 3/4ths of the women in the lockers are taking pictures and filming while there are other women in the background. And yet this gym refuses to do anything to stop this. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE ETHICS.

I went with my wife and she needed the hot tub and pool for the most part. Store manager came and tried to sweeten the deal but they just force and pressure you soo much that you do it to shut them up. My wife came the next time with her mom to use the hot tub. And it was outside and not very hot water. They don’t care about your satisfaction so they said it’s 200$ to cancel after one use!!! Don’t recommend until you try first!!!
