Its a very pretty park to spend an hour or two on a nice sunny November day, or probably any other day. People everywhere, enjoying the volleyball, reading by the river, the interesting little garden and picnicking on the grass.

A beautiful waterside park in the old town part of Alexandria. Its well loved by all for walking their dogs. Nicely maintained by the city, clean and litter free. Parking was pretty easy during the week; dont know about weekend or warmer weather. Plenty of benches for resting weary feet or sitting to eat lunch.

It’s a nice park to hangout with family. However my son have noticed that there are so many spiders and spiders web at the seating area , I hope that the management of this place take care and clean up those big spiders webs.

It was a bright sunny day, the air was air and refreshing. With a grand view of the river, a river boat, and perched on a waters- edge sitting-rock, with nothing but time to enjoy the view and moment, all the challenges of life in this world melted away. Cody her for a soul nurshing b dude of vitamin N. A gem nesled within Old Town -- enjoy!

What a great open area to be in during COVID. There is plenty of space here away from the hustle and bustle created by the restaurant waterfront just a couple steps away. Its like going from a Georgetown Summer day on M Street to the back roads of Rock Creek Park in terms of crowd. Plenty of open area to spread out and enjoy friends and family or just admire the view including constant passing boats and water taxis.

This is a beautiful park for you to just sit. You could bring your dog here to, I have seen about 6 people do that today alone. If you bring a blanket could be a nice place for lunch if it wasnt raining or snowing. Just some thoughtful tips on what to do here at this lovely park.

By Potomac River and Historic Olde Town Alexandria. Within a short walking distance there are different activities. A couple of boat cruises can be purchased. Torpedo Art Factory is in same area. The Art Factory has 3 floors of many venues of Art. In addition, there are quaint gift shops, and blocks of restaurants. Old town is also known for its Civil War history.
