My buddy and I met to fish and stay a night. Our accommodations and fishing boat rental were outstanding. During these pandemic times, I found this resort to be very safe. The owners are amazing people. Will definitely be visiting again!

Its such a nice family resort, they always make you feel welcome. Its the highlight of my summer and I wish we never left. Its very well managed and taken care of, you can tell the owners really care about the resort and their guests.

Week long stay with extended family. Geneva Beach Resort is amazing. The cabins were very clean, beds were comfortable, and the view of the lake from Pineview can’t be beat. So much to do with kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, water trampoline, game room, and the bike path. We cannot wait to go back!

Great hosts! Weve stayed at Homestead, Linden, and Maple lodges as well as Sugar Bush lodge. The beach is amazing, tons of outside and water toys for kids and adults to play with.

I love this place because it has the most beautiful scenery and the owners are wonderful people.

We will be back! Stayed one night last year & could not wait to visit again for a longer stay. Comfortable studio with a fully equipped kitchen. A picnic table and charcoal grill with 2 lawn chairs for each room. Nice sandy beach at end of beautiful lawn. Friendly hosts & daily coffee. Relaxing peaceful vacation.

The best time (my opinion) for a trip to Alexandria is in May when the resorts are getting ready for the larger families and tend to be quieter. I went here with my mother this past weekend. She loved it and I had a good time. This particular resort is right off a busy road (so can hear traffic). There are also train tracks nearby and the rooms are pretty small for the price especially since there is no room service and you have to clean the room before you leave (vacuum, put sheets off beds, etc). However, this quaint spot is right on the lake. Id suggest lakeside cabin #5 which is on the corner or a bigger cabin down from there where it may be quieter. Free paddle boats and kayaks to use. Lake with beach and bouncy things to jump off of. We heard loons. The nights were quieter. The owners are top notch - super helpful, welcoming and always available for questions. Free coffee every morning. You will have to also checkout Northwoods Cafe (cash only, odd hours) which is 1 mile walk from the resort, Depot Express Restaurant and if you have a flat tire or any tire issues, check out Shutters Auto Repair Service, which will come to you, if need be. Excellent owner and very accommodating!!! All in all, a nice first experience in this part of Minnesota!

Spent this past weekend at Sugarbush Lodge celebrating my Moms 80th birthday. Twenty eight with adults and kids. Plenty of room for all. Beautiful property that had everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the lake from sunrise to sunset. Nice that all the lake toys were available at no cost. Kids were wondering when we were coming back! Highly recommend!

A beautiful and well maintained resort. Friendly staff and on a great fishing/water sports lake. Some good ice fishing during the winter too. The Sugarbush Lodge is very large and well taken care of; you could fit in a few familys.

Family friendly, nice lodges. We had 27 people in 3 lodges and had plenty of room. Great beach and right on the bike trail.

Great for kids. It was as great as having our own cabin on the lake with none of the work. Entire resort is immaculately kept. I will recommend the resort to all of my friends and family.

Great place to bring youre family!

Great place! Being a smaller resort, the service is awesome! We stayed 3 nights and are extremely satisfied! The Husband and wife that run the resort are so friendly and helpful. Community firepits, has gas and charcoal grills, cabins equipped with almost everything youd need for even extended stay. Just remember to bring your own towels. Its quiet and layed back, close enough to town if you need anything, yet off by itself enough to be quiet. Lots of Games for kids, and a well equipped beachfront with everything from paddle boats, kyaks and paddle boards. It also has two water Trampolines, and sand toys all waiting for your kids to have a good time. Want to get out on the water and fish, but no boat? No problem! They have several small motorboats he will rent out for a fee, depending on length of time you want to have it out. He also has several dock slips for parking your boat. My Fiance and I will be back. And the prices are great as well. Highly recommend!
