Thursday’s night is great I love salsa the staff is super

This place is terrible and unsafe. They will literally steal from you. Please avoid at all costs. Do not hesitate to call the police when the security invariably assaults you. They have been called many times and I am surprised this place is still open. I have never seen more bad reviews for a place and this hellhole deserves it.

Had a birthday party here a few years ago. It was really nice. We were definitely catered too but for a hefty price.

Can’t tell you much about the bar, but the salsa and bachata lessons + dancing were great!

Went there for salsa dancing on Valentines Day good time

Went there for a friends Bday party and had the billards room reserved. Service was absolutely terrible. We had to hunt down our server many times after waiting for an hour or so for her to check on us. The pool table is way to big for the room its in. The accustics is terrible in that room. The place smelled like dirty feet and sweaty ass. The music was just as bad as the rest of the club. Anytime a good song would come on the DJ would spin in another 30 seconds into it. At the end of the night I asked for my tab and only got a receipt with a total on it. I had to ask for an itemized receipt. No surprise why they did that. I was charged for premium vodka when I never asked for it and even though I felt our server deserved a poor tip I still gave her 15%. On further inspection of the receipt I realized that I was charged a gratuity of 18% for a two person tab. So she got a great tip for terrible service. All said and done I will never return to this place.

They make good drinks and is very nice inside.

Great bar service! I had an amazing time besides a fellow customer who was inconsiderate of my space. But that is obviously out of Qbars control.

Bartenders and DJ are awesome, security staff sucks, a bunch of meatheads that take advantage of drunk patrons. Not worth the money

This bar is horrible. The DJs are horrible, the decor is horrible, and the security staff is even worse. This place has turned into cougar town. Lots of older people frequent this bar now. It’s not a place for a younger crowd. The security is always roughing people up for no reason. This place is usually dead and lame. Don’t spend your money here. Casa Essencia is next door and is way better

Put gay club into google maps while in this boring city and Qbar Comes up. Not a gay bar at all. Feels like it is trying too hard to be a Vegas club. Just wanted a casual drink in a gay friendly atmosphere, not that at all. It looks like where you bring your mistress or your grandmother.

Love coming here for Latin Thursdays. Bartenders are the best, music is great and the crowd is fantastic.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! They completely humiliated my husband and I after having a nightmare of a booking situation we left our “ vip” area to go dance and use the restroom my party and I 15 of us mind you came back to drink our second round of drinks a found a whole new group of people sitting at our crappy “ vip” area WE had to move which was HUMILIATING for my guests and I Carla TRIED to make it right and failed miserably, that was our 5 th time reserving a vip and we NEVER had problems like that!! We will never go back!

I wish I could say I had a good experience, but poor management was unable to train their employees to properly evaluate if potential customers were 21+. Make sure you bring a horizontal ID, because a perfectly legal vertical ID, credit cards, pictures of your passport, and other IDs are not enough to convince them of your age.

Theres one worker there in the bar thats racist against mexicans. Theres nothing wrong with having fun we did nothing wrong. But she didnt like it, she should not work there.

The majority of my experiences at this establishment have been good. I decided to leave a review because the last few times I have been there the servers have tried to rip me off. I last visited Friday the 3rd of August. The evening was going great until I received my tab. My wife had ordered 4 vodka tonics with a spash of cranberry and I had one non-alcoholic beer. Our waitress (the check said her name was Tiffany but her name-tag said something different) brought out a credit card receipt for $56. I found her and told her it wasnt right and she proclaimed that it was because there was an extra non-alcoholic beer on there that I didnt get because they had ran out. My tab went from $56 to $41. I told her none of it made sense and that I needed to see a breakdown. She brought it to me and it turns out the well vodka my wife asked for was $9 a drink Grey Goose. We spoke to a manager who didnt seem to mind too much that his staff was trying to rip people off. His offer to buy my wife another drink for the trouble was insulting.If it werent for the management and some dishonest staff I would highly recommend this place. I have worked in the service industry before and this type of behavior usually isnt limited to one person or one instance. It is usually a taught practice and unfortunately they tried it on the wrong person. If you do decide to frequent this establishment make sure you monitor your tab and make sure you do not fall victim to their shady practices.

Trying hard and failing. What can I say? I have lived in much bigger cities (e.g., D.C., NYC, L.A., Chicago, and Miami) and this place is boring and the service is terrible. This place is trying way too hard. The DJs are awful and the VIP service is a joke compared to any other upscale club I have been to. The place becomes way too crowded for the class level it wants the customers to perceive. The club scene is awful in Albuquerque and Q-bar sure is not helping. Go somewhere else.
