This is the best theater in Albuquerque. They have a large number of theaters which are kept very clean. The have a good number of snacks and the employees that work at the counters are always friendly. It is definitely worth the admission price to see a movie here; large seats, large screens, good sound, clean theaters, you get what you pay for for sure. Their popcorn is very good as well! A great place for a fun night out!

My go-to movie theater. Regal Unlimited is awesome and lets me watch unlimited movies every month for $18. The theater itself is pretty clean and well-kept. There are a good amount of options as far as concessions go as well. And I’m pretty sure they have the only IMAX theater in the state.

I really like this theatre! Its a bit far from my house, but whenever I get a chance to go there I am always pleased.Everything about it is very spacious and grand-looking. It is always very clean as well.The Concessions stand it big and keeps the line moving. They are also courteous. I accidentally spilled my popcorn all over the counter and the employee didnt skip a beat and cleaned it up without any attitude and assured me it happened more often than I thought. I still profusely apologized.Recently I saw the 40th anniversary of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. It was a great presentation in a nice auditorium. My only grip is the mid-levels were VERY high and any time the music swelled the volume got painfully loud to where it rang in your eardrum. It was kinda a bummer because one of the reasons to see this particular movie is because of the great score, but in the big moments me and my wife were wincing because of how the levels were.Volume is never a problem, but it needs to be balanced right.Other than that Ive never had an issue with sound or presentation of film. Its a nice theatre.

Took the family to see Polar Express. Had seen it numerous times on DVD,but this was the first time on the big screen! My daughters sung along with almost every song. As part of the experience the theater gave us these awesome bells, and throughout the movie a lot of people were ringing them.Didnt realize this theatre showed classics, will definitely be checking them out in the future for classics!

The Regal 16 IMAX & RPX is one of my favorite movie theaters to visit in the greater Albuquerque area. Its much the same as its older Regal 14 counterpart up in Santa Fe. However, it features a little bit more. Such as the IMAX and RPX fitted movie screens which are located on the south side of the building.Though it does not (yet) offer the increasingly ubiquitous leather reclining chairs now found in most contemporary cinemas. Regal 16 at Winrock nonetheless works hard to make sure that the overall movie-going experience is enjoyable for everyone. The box office and lobby area are always clean and well presented. Employees are friendly, attentive, and above all, helpful. Not to mention that the theaters are consistently well picked up before every new showing.

This place is awesome. Stadium style seating and very clean. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Went and saw new Star Wars 3D, there very clean, seats comfortable with plenty of leg room, easy for other theatre goers to pass by you without having to stand up. Had their chicken strips and fries--very big pieces of chicken, fries were big and fat and yummy too. Only suggestion for theatre--would be easier to eat food if chairs had small arm table or something to put food on. Usually movie theaters are very cold and drafty-- Winrock was nice and warm. Enjoyed the movie and theater.

Good theater, clean and the projectors are high quality. Good sound but not too loud. The employees are professional and polite. The only knock I can give this theater is that the seats have not been upgraded to the recliner that many theaters have now a days.

Ready Player 1 was incredible and there is nothing better than 3D Imax. Thanks Google for the Tickets and I recommend this movie and theater to anyone wanting to see a great movie and have the time fly by. Cant wait to see my next movie in Imax.

We were able to see the screening of knife out! It was amazing! Seats are comfortable. Bathrooms are cleans. Workers are nice. Prices of the snacks could be better priced.

Oh dear. I hate to do this. I love this theater. But something has happened to the popcorn. It used to be the best in town. Now it’s so bad I am contemplating going elsewhere for my movies. And I’m an Unlimited member. It used to be the freshest, lightest popcorn around. The last THREE times I’ve gone (all in a two week period) it’s been stale and tasted oddly like bug spray. Each time I asked for fresh popcorn and they obliged (although begrudgingly on 12/20). But it was no better. Please fix this. I really don’t want to switch theaters.

Ideal movie experience... awesome picture, comfortable seats and great sound! This location meets all the criteria! Add an excellent experience at the snack bar. Great overall visit! Want your mind blown then try IMAX. 3 times the clarity, 10 times the sound and double the comfort of the chairs! Total movie buff experience! Now they have unlimited subscription for a small fee for unlimited movies! Sweet!

I really enjoy going to the Winrock theater. The fella that took our tickets was pleasant. We went to see Cats, yes Cats, no matter what the critics said. The fella said oh you are going to see gatos. Funny and cute. So, we went with low expectations and we enjoyed it. We laughed and I thought it was fun to see the actors dressed up like cats. It was also fun to hear the music. I did not like seeing Jennifer Hudsons character with snot on her face. Yucky. The theater was rather empty and that made it pleasant and comfortable

Great theater! Love watching 3D movies in IMAX. Sometimes its almost too intense for me. The seating is well spaced and gives plenty of leg room. Its also clean and the sound is crazy loud that goes right through you! It does to me.

Great, comfortable movie theater in Albuquerque! Heads up there is currently some construction going on around it and in the parking lot so its a bit chaotic (outside only). Ive always found it to be clean. It is now reserved seating instead of open seating. You can buy tickets on your phone (then you show barcode to ticket taker for them to scan), at the ticket counter right when you walk in, or you can use a credit card at the kiosk inside (usually no line here!). On weekends (especially night weekends) there is often a line to get concessions so definitely give yourself time for that if youre getting snacks. I highly recommend joining Regal Crown Club to earn perks which can include popcorn!

This is the best theatre hands down. Comfortable seating, many concession stand options. One time the guy at the checkout for concession told like 5 people to go ahead in without paying for their drinks or food. That was strange. But other than that, all had been good!

Very clean theatre, very friendly staff that made you feel welcome and your business appreciated. First time watching Screen X projection process, was impressed. The only negative note is that concession staff did not try to upsell and that is important in the theatre business.

Ive been here on several other occasions and love the service and atmosphere. Today I and a friend are here for the first time on the regal unlimited passes. There was a line and managers came out to ask people if they could help people inside .I hit a snag with mine and a manager was attentive enough to come ask me if I was having trouble, she helped troubleshoot my issue and got us into the movie before it started. Great people, great help.

Nice theater clean fairly pricey I think a large Coke was 7 bucks kinda crazy also this theater is not like the cottonwood theater it does not offer the comfy reclining seats. They are an upgraded flip seat that rocks. I would go again if they had the movie I wanted to see but only if cottonwood did not it would be my first choice as they are priced the same .

Went to the RPX screening of latest Mission Impossible release. Experience is always good. Views of the ceiling.

Pros: not very popular so easy to grab good seats day of. Hot dogs are good. Icee machine is legit better than century Rios.Cons: seating is not very spacious. Popcorn had a weird taste. Employees are in a bad mood at concessions.

I dont know why other theaters cant raise the bar for concessions the way Rio 24 has. The theater was confortable and very clean. The staff are very friendly. I like more and better movie snack options is my only complaint.

Nice theatre and friendly and very helpful staff. Great place to go on a hot day since the air conditioners work great in the movie rooms so if you get cold easy i suggest bringing a small sweater. The only reason i didnt give it the full5 stars is because they dont have my favorite kettle popcorn.

I went to see Hobs & Shaw. The movie so fake that it makes a sci-fi movie look more realistic. I asked fo my money back and manager told me everything was close and there was nothing she could do. PURE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Nice place and very organized. Reserved seating with reclining chairs. Refreshment prices are a little high, but I guess its normal. They have an app that works as rewards but no discounts on Tuesdays. Icon Cinema and Century Rio 24 have $5-$6 tickets on Tuesdays but Winrock doesnt offer it, sadly.

Was nice doesnt look like it gets very busy. I had an issue with my tickecket purchase and they help me right away, great staff!

Very nice theater with stadium seating. Would have preferred the powered recliners, but the leather upholstered rockers were also nice.

It shouldn’t even get a 1 star review! Costumer service is trash. They do not know how to run this. I recommend the icon cinema on tramway and central. Friendly staff and more drink options. Plus it has recliners that go all the way down. At this theater it’s cheap sitting area with about an hour of commercials after the scheduled time of showing. I started the movie around 4:30 instead of original time of 3:30

No reclining seats, popcorn is trash, butter is not good, concession is always backed up, and someone is always in your seat.If your into all those I listed that’s why it scores a 3/ 5... as far as just watching a movie it’s a nice theater and the unique thing is you can order food which is pretty food. This is a newer, stadium seating theater with excellent sound. You can bypass the ticket counter and buy tickets inside at the self serve kiosk much more quickly than waiting. Comfortable seats, clean, stadium style seating, its one of the best choices in the NE heights of Albuquerque.

This was my favorite place to see new movies (in the DPX theater). But this time, the main reason I loved DPX was a let down, as the sounds were flat and a bit tinny. Picture quality was good, a little low contrast but nice.The concession lines were out of control. This has always been an issue though. I think it may have to do with the menu? Anyhow after 12 minutes in line and only advancing by one customer, we gave up and went in to the theater. There were some neat themed buckets and drink toppers, but the wait was prohibitive.Finally, and this goes for all theaters as well as Winrock - the amount of trailers shown is obscene. They need to let you know before hand the length of the gauntlet one will have to endure beforehand.Other than that, it was clean and pleasant and I enjoyed the movie.

Saw an imax movie but holy smokes its very loud. Shouldve included ear plugs. Seats are nice, it was very clean and tidy. I only wear ear plugs when shooting and at concerts. Children should not be exposed to anything like this for 2 hours

My day out. I enjoy going to the movies. I simply want to be entertained. Its close to home, clean, and parking is great. Can hit Trader Joes on the way home. Whats not to like?

Nice theater over all. We were in auditorium 1, which is a a little more of a smaller venue. I liked the layout of the rows, theyre high enough so that anyone sitting in front of you will not obstruct your view. The seats arent all that comfortable, but an improvement from the old standard seating.

Definitely liked it here and the only thing that wouldve gotten them a higher ranking for me is the proximity to the house.

Be prepared to spend more on snacks than the movie. Bought tickets online and nowhere did it specify that it was for a sensory friendly showing. So the movie was quieter and they kept the lights on. This wasnt an issue but it would have been nice to know ahead of purchase. Another note, the guy at the ticket window had no clue how to print tickets bought online.

Can’t reserve seats, huge lines for popular movies. No recliners?? There’s just better way to experience a movie available almost anywhere else at this point.. the concessions are run poorly, super deep lines and only a couple registers open. I came out during my movie to refill my popcorn, was told I’d have to wait in a line that was a least ten people deep, and not moving quickly. Forget it, I’m telling you it’s 2019, there is a much better way, get with the times..

We loved the theater! It was comfortable but very chilly. It was clean except for in the lobby where some popcorn had spilled and not been cleaned. It wasnt a big deal to me. The sound and picture were very clear. We will come back again.

Probably the worst experiences Ive ever had. We baught $20 in tokens for games and most of the games are broken. Wasnt able to get token refunds. Games keep ripping us off. And the movie chairs were uncomfortable. Not cool.

We got there a bit late, so the only seats available were in the section close to the screen. The picture is rather fuzzy when its so close!We saw the Mr. Rogers movie. Its very sweet without being syrupy.

Well maintained. You can purchase your tickets inside and out of the weather which is totally wonderful.

I really like coming to this theater. The seats are comfortable, the popcorn is good, and the staff are friendly. The only issue I had was that the movie I was was extremely loud, which Ive never had an issue with at this theater. But I still had a great time.

The workers there are awesome and the theater is always clean and quiet! All it needs is recliners!

Decent facility. When buying tickets (tried both on line and at theater) the seating chart only shows about 6 empty seats. By time the movie started, it was around 75% empty. What the heck!

Great movie theatre. Parking is easy and it’s never overcrowded. You can pick your set when you buy your ticket. Great place to beat the heat.

The unlimited movie deal is great. Way better than Netflix, the screen size and access to snacks are the factors, right? Now...if Regal will partner with Netflix and offer some of their shows on the big screen as marathons, that would be great. Daredevil. Luke Cage. I would love to see some cross pollination of content if the companies see the benefit. Like how hardware stores have candy, cant movie theaters have Netflix?

This is our usual place to go watch movies at. It is reserve seating which took awhile for me to warm up to the idea. It is actually quite convenient when standing in line waiting for snacks; you dont have to panic thinking youll be missing out on finding a seat. There are plenty of snacks and food to choose from. There are about five games, however, more than one will have an out-of-order sign on it. Seats are great, temp is right, staff is great. Plus the app always has free upgrades or free snacks! And you can earn points for every $ spent!

Very very busy theater. I liked assigned seating. Plan on going early if you want munchies because the lines are a long wait. I was in line for almost 30 minutes so be patient. Staff were doing the best they could

The concessions were above average expensive and the seats were horrible they are small and have no back support. Not up to the standards set by a lot of theaters with reclining supportive chairs.

In my opinion, the best theater in town. Im a little biased because its also the closest, but I love that the theater has thrived even though the mall right next to it has been abandoned and neglected for years. Regal rewards are awesome. The staff is always freindly. The popcorn is always hot. 5 stars.

Its a really nice theater. They have good seats that are comfortable and not cramped. The employees are nice. The bathrooms are nice. The food is good, but over priced like all other theaters. I just wish they had the option to pick your seat ahead the movie. Other than that, its a really nice place to enjoy a movie.

The seating was as comfortable as a 30 year old couch and the popcorn tasted like a mess.

Came when pregnant and I am constricted to a low sugar diet. Absolutely no drinks not even iced tea available without high contents of sugar so I bought water. Requested a cup of ice for my water (95+ degrees today) and they wanted to charge me $8 for a soda fountain drink. Manager told me this is due to inventory. Talk about a way to treat customers that are already paying high dollar for any food or drink. And of course bringing your own drinks and snacks is absolutely restricted. Seats in the standard theater are not for small children, seat doesn’t stay down with light weight children so it makes it hard for them to sit through the movie. We will be only going to century movie theaters from now on.

CONS- My least favorite theater in ABQ. The seats are not comfortable, no reserve seating, the seats fold up on your kids unless 50+ lbs. Why they even bother showing kid movies here I dont know.PROS - Positive side is that leg room on the aisles is good and you are seated higher than row in front of you, which is makes it unlikely that you will be blocked by someone tall. Food/drink no different than any other place. Staff friendly.

Went to see the Lion King. Great movie. The seats are so comfortable and I think they lowered the sound because it didnt blast into my ears.

It was really nice and the staff seemed pretty friendly; the theater was a little different than expected; and the seats were okay but not real comfortable. They need to upgrade their seats to reclining chairs to make watching the movie more comfortable and maybe attach a little table to the seats for popcorn and drinks. The movie was awesome; overall my experience wasnt too bad as it was my first time coming here to watch a good movie.
