I really enjoy going here on weeknights when it is not so busy. Ive noticed there is a lot of Staff that has been working here for a while, which to me seems like they treat their employees well. The aforementioned staff is always pleasant and courteous.The seats are comfortable and the aisles are usually kept pretty clean.Its a madhouse on the weekend and I hardly go to this theatre when it is the weekend, but its not unbearable.Ive had a few incidents over the years when Ive had to return tickets or get a refund for a bad print* (*very rare), but the Management always accommodates without question.The presentation is always very good. I sometimes wish their concession stands, where the auditoriums are, were manned fully all the time, but I get that its not always feasible.

Probably my favorite theater in town. I love the assigned seating and how comfortable the seats are. By far the best thing about the theater! They offer more show time options compared to other theaters, which is great for planning purposes. The place is kept moderately clean (bathrooms could use some work) and the prices are about the same as everywhere else.

Great theater. Comfortable recliner seats and many movie choices. Lobby/snack bar needs some updates. When you walk in the door it smells like a musty swimming pool. The ladys restroom sinks dont all work either. Staff is friendly and the comfy seats more than make up for the musty entrance and dated bathrooms. I will choose this theater over others closer to my home for the nice seats!

We always watch a movie here. The popcorn is pretty good, all restrooms are close by. You dont have to go all the way up front for refills, their snack bars are close by. Love the place. I highly recommend this place. Comfortable seating.

Everything is good and comfortable. Staff are nice and efficient. Snack food has a lot of variety. Only downfall is its more on the pricey side of average - though it is too be expected for a place like it. Expect with concessions an average of $20 for one person, maybe $35 for two.

The best concessions hands down. The kettle popcorn is my favorite. Its a great place to enjoy a movie and have the best snacks. Theaters are extremely confortable and clean. On the website it shows that the movie theaters are supposed to have open July 15 now we’re in August actually September 5 and there are still no movie theaters open for 2020. Notify people on when you’re opening!

Bought tickets online, went inside the theater and didnt have a problem. Just went and bought fresh popcorn and a drink.Customer service was great as we entered into the movie halls. No issues or fuss. I needed some assistance at customer service, so I went back out into the open area. Customer service was near the entrance. I requested for a pair of head phones for the hearing impaired. The lady and manager were very kind to assist with one. They were very kind and helpful. The manager even helped set up the head phones inside the movie. Very respectful I might add. The seating was great. No crying babies!! No issues, my family and I enjoyed our movie night. As we were leaving, even security was outside roaming the parking lots. I felt great about that. I recommend this establishment.

One of the best theaters in Albuquerque! Clean, comfy seats, and absolutely awesome how they play old movies for their anniversary! Especially Alien! I had such a blast here and it was such a treat to see Alien for the 40th anniversary! Very professional and friendly staff here at this location. I will definitely be back!

About as good as it gets these days. Its very much a modern theater with luxury reclining seats. Its not a true theatrical experience but its pretty nice.

I go there just to buy the big box of popcorn and refill it again so I can eat it at home. The young staff is so nice. Who says young kids cant be nice. Theyre very nice here!

The staff seem to actually listen to you. The concessions are usually good. They use real butter instead of the gross oil! Im always happy when I come see a movie here.

I had not been to the movies in years and my visit today was great!! I love the recliner seats they are so comfortable. The prices for tickets are great. Popcorn was fresh and I had a huge drink with a free refill. I most definitely will be back!!!

Nice theater. Youll always find what you want to watch at a convenient time. Of course as with most theaters confessions are priced super high. Decent arcade area. The D-Box powered seats are some of the best lounge seats in Albuquerque. Very comfortable and adjustable with the push of a button.

This is an excellent theater. Seats after comfortable and the theater is kept quite clean. It takes a bit to get used to the concession stand, but thats a small price to pay. While they do have handicapped parking, considering the number of theaters, they lack sports to park, especially near the entrances. Otherwise its a great theater.

First time Ive ever been in a theater this nice. Watched Joker and had a great experience. There were plenty of amenities and worth every penny you pay to get in.

I really love that they updated this theater when they did to the recliner chairs. They are so comfortable. I love that choosing your seats either at the theater or online is so easy, and you don’t have to worry about getting there super early to find seats. One of the best theaters we have.

This is definitely my favorite theater in town. I love the comfortable seating. The reserved seating makes for a completely stress free movie viewing experience without the need of getting to the theater early to get good seats with your friends.

Went to see Frozen 2 and bought our tickets at the box office. We were told by a very grumpy ticket seller that all that was left were front row seats. We agreed. Entering the theater most of the seats were empty and we headed for the front row. We found out later that we were in Row C instead of Row A. (No wonder they didnt seem so far forward) Row A was so so so far forward we didnt even see it. We settled in on Row A and of course the kids didnt care. The usher or whatever they are called, was very kind and told us if we couldnt handle it, they would find a way to make us happy. Im certainly glad our husbands werent with us but we mothers can be very flexible. We have no complaints but next time might say no to the front row. BTW when did we start using assigned seating?

Large theatre, plenty of parking and good selection of food and drinks at the expected price. When there is something interesting showing and Im in town Ill be sure to stop by agian.

Nicest movie theater I have ever been to! Their luxary loungers are super comfy as they are nice leather recliners that give you plenty of room. You dont have to squeeze past people to find your seat because of all the room there is. And they still have normal ticket prices! Plus, if you get their refillable popcorn bin and refillable cup of only costs $4 to refill each, which is an incredible price (for a movie theater)!

Not a bad place to see a movie at all! The only thing that could have really used improvement was the popcorn, it tasted as if it had been sitting there for a few hours, on a slow Sunday.

This theater has reclining seats in every auditorium. It has has some D-box seating. Theater is very clean and has two food lines which makes the lines move fast and has enough room that you can pass people if they stop and are getting something else.

Very nice theater. Plenty of room between rows, was not dirty and the temperature inside was just right. We didnt feel like we were in a icebox. The staff was friendly except when I told one of the concessions personnel that the ice tea machine was pouring only water, no matter which one was chosen, he shrugged his shoulders and said it was a bummer and not his job to fix it Well in my opinion, if youre running a register at concessions, buddy it is your job to notify someone it is not working properly.

It was a good experience. We signed up for their rewards program. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The popcorn was fresh and delicious. The seat are very comfortable which makes the whole movie enjoyable.

Went with my sons to watch the new Star Wars movie. Loved it and this theater is clean and well run well. Their seating is top notch.

Sat in the second row and it wasnt bad at all, not even a strained neck. I love the recliners as they help keep me comfortable during movies and the confessions have a lot to offer aside from the classic popcorn and soda.

Saw Joker here in their largest theater. Excellent experience. Only issue is the price, for its location it has near NYC prices. Needs to be for affordable.

Our movie at Century Rio 24 was great! Awesome surround sound, comfortable chairs in the XD Room, best time to go is before 5pm, the crowds are tame! Either way, they had clean facilities and good snacks! Keep it up!

There is no handicap accessability.. Entering the heavy doors with a wheel chair is impossible.. Bathrooms are horribly small to manuver and sinks are too high. Popcorn is too high for staff to hand me my popcorn. Dispensers are to high for soda... No consideration at all for handicap individuals.. ticket counter as well is to high and position of movie display is too high... I called corporate to ask for help. Never got a call back... extremely disappointed..

Nice experience. Big place and with lots of people and looks fun. We watched the movie Joker and I felt safe with cops around. We had cushioned seats and its very comfortable.

The first movie I remember that i saw in that theater was Pulp Fiction when it came out in 1994. Great classic I watch at least once a year. I thnk Rio 24 was built just before that year. It was a drive through at one time and then that happened.

Great visit and experience. Enjoyed the many options of snacks with quick service. Comfortable seats with great picture and sound. To be honest, we did have an unfortunate situation here. However, the manager was quick to be found and adress the situation. It was handled very professionally. I would have rated this place five stars, but the bathrooms were definitely not being cleaned.Use the bathroom before you go and youll have a great and fun visit!

Went to a screening of the new movie Only the brave here. Havent been to this place in a long time. theyve got real nice reclining seats with tons of legroom nice big screen.

Belated Mothers day present from my Son, to see the Avengers. Awesome movie, Quick service at the box office, no lines. Concession prices were pricey for a family. Seats were very comfortable. I liked that reclined and I could feel the vibration from the movie. Restrooms were clean but in the front lobby it wasnt easy for handicap accessible to the ladies restroom. Overall I will return.

By far my favorite theater in town. All seats a recliners and that is nice and all seats are purchased by reservation (at the window or online) so you know at time of purchase if your seats are to your liking. The only issue with this process is that you sort of need to know in advance if you are going to the movie - especially the popular or new releases. There might not be a line at the ticket window but the theater could be sold out online. Just get the Cinemark app and pick your seats ahead of time. Enjoy!

Before living in Albuquerque, there were times where I would schedule a day to just to come down and visit this movie theater. What can I honestly say about it? This cineplex is absolutely massive; hands down the largest in the State of New Mexico. Boasting 24 screens and encompassing I dont even know how many acres of property. Rio 24 is truly the premier place to watch any new blockbuster release.Some things I like about this theater include: wide-open parking space, economic ticket prices, an easy DIY concession stand, and relaxing leather reclining chairs. In addition, employees have always been friendly to me during my many visits and despite the age of the facility, its still very well kept and clean.Its also important to keep in mind as I have over the years. That if there is any type of new mega-blockbuster movie that is jam-packing theaters and proving difficult to acquire tickets for. You can usually count on Rio 24 on having some type of availability for you, even on opening weekends. Having such a multitude of screens comes in handy; which can result in some films being featured nearly every 45 minutes (new releases).The City of Albuquerque is fortunate to the Century Rio 24 Movie Plex. It provides its residents with a reliable and consistent place to enjoy a movie. A place I hope is able to maintain its current standard as I wish it to remain open for a long time to come.

This theatre is ok. The snack area is always very sticky and not as clean as I would like. The bathrooms are old and the locks don’t work on many of the stalls. However, the actual theatres are nice as they have been updated and it is one of the few places in town that offers reserved reclining seats.

We took my mother here who is wheelchair bound. We usually go to Icon Cinema, but we thought wed try here. At Icon, there are ramps all the way up and down the rows that allow her to get to her seat and transfer from her wheelchair easily, so we didnt think about it when we asked for seats towards the middle. When we got into the theater, we noticed there were only stairs to our seats (which I will also mention that the cashier didnt warn us while we were picking these spots though he could obviously see the wheelchair). The only options my mother could reach was there very first row, which is incredibly uncomfortable, or the second row (the handicap row) which had one seat, two spaces for wheelchairs, and one more seat. There was no way our family could sit together. My mother ended up sitting alone in the second row. The entire experience was humiliating, isolating, and frustrating for her. Bare minimum compliance of accessibility doesnt fit well with the comfort theme they try to portray. We wont be able to bring her to movies if we go here, so well be taking her back to Icon in the future.

This is our favorite movie theater. not only nice people and the place is super clean, but the reclining huge soft seats are just divine! Pretty much more comfortable than my own living room. Our first choice for local theaters for movies!

There are many theatres here in town, but I would recommend this one. The theatre is in a very convenient area, the employees are friendly and helpful. The theatre is always very clean, especially the restrooms. The cost of the items at the snack bar seem a bit excessive.

I had not been to this complex in several years. They installed recliners and it was quite comfortable. You will need to buy seats ahead of time in order to sit where you want unless the movie has been out a couple of weeks or more.complex is very neat and clean. Staff is also very good. They showed The Ten Commandments on the big screen for its 60th anniversary in 2016. I hope they do that again with other classic movies, like Lawrence of Arabia in 2022.

The tickets are pricey but if you hit a mattee its a lot cheaper. The concession stands have a wide variety of choices. If you go at night it always crowded.

The idiot child of questionable parentage behind me in line was was not. Love the service and the exceptional staff. The movies were great as well. The Favorite and Mary Queen of Scots.

My familys goto movie theater. Went to watch Just Mercy today. But whatever you goto to watch, they have everything you need to make your movie experience a memorable one.

Great seats and they recline!But it ate a friends cell phone and no one turned the lights and on when the movie ended.Make sure to tell the food concesions that youre getting a meal or no discount.

The seats are the most comfortable movie theater seats in Albuquerque. That alone is reason enough to go to this theater.

With some newer, fancier movie theaters in town, Century Rio has had to step up their game. With reclining, leather seats the size of an expensive la--z-boy the days of fighting over a shared armrest and being kicked in the back by the person behind you are long gone. They have also implemented pre-selecting your seat when you buy your ticket, so the days of hoping you dont get stuck in a bad seat have also give by the wayside. While still not a fan of the prices and concession scenario, if youre looking for a nice place to see a movie, stop on in.

Clean, always friendly people to help you out. Child friendly. Slightly to loud, but still a great place to enjoy a move plus all the fixings.

Its a great environment, definitely feels like the one place to be for the sake of movies. I only gave it 4 stars cause I believe the customer service of certain employees need to match others, cause you can meet one guy who is just not wanting to be there and one who sets you at ease.

Very nice theater, its been modernized quite a bit and it has comfortable recliners that go all the way. I only complaint is that they used to sell ice cream and now it seems they do not.

Great theater overall, my favorite one in Albuquerque. There are 24 theaters so its easy to find a movie time that works for you. I like it better than Flix because you can put your feet up and there are more available movie times.

All seating is assigned. That means when you buy a ticket, it is for a specific seat in the theater. This was new to me as far as movies go. The seats were recliners. That was comfortable. The show was sold out, I guess. We saw Bohemian Rhapsody which was excellent! Nice variety of snacks, including Star Bucks and ice cream.

Its always a joy to get out on a date with my wife and go see a movie where you just feel very comfortable and are able to watch a movie without any issues or problems thumbs

Rio 24 is a great theater! These people really do work hard to help us enjoy our movie experiences. We should all remember to say thank you to these young people.If you have never worked at a movie theater, especially if your a young adult, I would suggest it. I did so temporarily before moving to New Mexico. It was lots of fun.I hope to attend one of the special film themes like the Studio Ghibli films. Try one yourself and post your experience.

Love watching movies here! On Tuesdays they have $5.95 movie tickets and thats cheap. To make it better if your a at&t or DirecTV customer you get that price for 2 people, so 2 for 1. Thats awesome. I live the reclining seats and all the awesome popcorn.Love coming here! People are friendly and helpful and glad they accept mobile ticket. Also, you have great dining spots in the surrounding vicinity. So a great location.

Chairs were nice but the floors were dirty and only one popcorn side was open causing delays.

It is always a great experience at this Cinema. It is cool because everyone is usually really helpful. The seats are really comfortable. I have watched plenty of movies here and it is good every time and the theatre makes the movies more enjoyable.

Or buy tickets online.

This is our go to place but I was really disappointed in how dirty it was. Way worse than usual....and my popcorn was cold...for a 7:10 showing. Weird.
