Went for the movies in the parking lot they were having on Fridays for the month of October. It was very easy to follow the directions they provided for you to get you into a spot to park. Had several guides pointing you in the right direction. Was very convenient that they had huge speakers for hearing the movie rather than like a traditional drive-in type movie where you tune to a specific radio channel. As well as prior to movie starting they were playing music and being very interactive with the crowd. A few food trucks were on site that had $5 deals going on but did not patron any of them since we brought our own goodies so not sure of cost of things. But nice knowing that something was available if necessary. They provided us with a trash bag, that was very convenient so I didnt have to make several trips to a garbage can.I would definitely do it again, it was a fun experience. Was nostalgic. It didnt cost anything. I just wish that it was available for more than a few weeks out of the year. It allows for social distancing but still gives a feel of interacting with others.

Been here for many shows with all types of music. Never a bad seat. Prefer not to sit in the grass, but some may consider it a good option. Come early to get best parking. Plan for the hike on the hill down. Handicapped parking is available. Ask. This will get you down to stage level- no hill. Parked above- they have carts to help you. Recommend purchasing rain ponchos just in case, but in a pinch they sell them too. Some shows have upgrades to purchase the closest parking spots. Venue sells food, beer, water, soda & mixed drinks. Cash or credit, but pricey.

Really impressed with this place. Word of advice to get in can take a while recommended getting there an 1hr and half before the show starts. It can take a while to park and along with the walk to get in can be time consuming. The place is really nicely laid out , plenty of restrooms , vendors, food trucks and bars. Prices range but it is pricey to eat and drink here. There is not a bad seat on in this place

The location of this amphitheater has beautiful sunsets but is very expensive once you are inside for drinks, souvenirs, or food. The bathrooms are highly efficient and mostly clean. Boober and lift lanes are available for easy drop off and pick up.

Review №8

Prices for food and drink inside are extremely high, but that is to be expected for the place to make money, so bring a bottle of water with you. Unfortunately the amphitheater happens to face directly into the setting sun, so depending on the time of day and year some seats will be better than others. The closer you are the less this matters.

Took my daughter and her friend to see Florida Georgia Line. Great show and not an ordeal to get into the venue. This venue has improved in the last few years. They started off very militant about counting drinks, etc. Much more relaxed vibe now, but I appreciate. It is a concert. Lets have fun.

Venue is great all around, but I would recommend food and drinks prior to coming out. Food is expensive but whats even more INSANELY expensive (which doesnt make sense for a local venue to be charging do much) is the drinks. For cheap domestic beer 20oz youre looking to spend over 17 bucks just for one drink! Typically at other venues youre looking about 7 for domestic beer anywhere else.

Great place to see a concert and nice views. Usually the weather is nice and there is covered seating also lawn seating which I believe max capacity is 16,000. Vendors that sell food, drinks, clothing and many other items during the concerts I have been to are very good. There are plenty of Port a potty areas. During the concert I went to they had VIP tents setup. One word of advise, when the concert is over the traffic to get out I can say was not good. I waited 20 plus minutes to leave the parking lot but then again with that many people maybe its common. Go there and enjoy a show or concert.

Excellent concert venue in Albuquerque, allow extra time to get there and even more time to exit the venue, then even more time to exit the parking area. Parking was free with the concert ticket. Saw Imagine Dragons, what a great two hour performance. Seat was comfortable, even for a big guy like me.

Review №22

They tell you at the gate to take screenshots of your tickets. There is NO service at the gate so make sure you take screen shots long before you get to the venue. The Ticketmaster app doesn’t allow you to take screenshots either so use the link in the email. This place is decent once you’re in but a nightmare to do so. The wrist bands for 21 and over are a good idea. It’s also nice that security guards don’t go hunting for pot smokers in the crowd. I guess times are a changin.

Not a terrible venue, but theres no way I can give more stars based on their unacceptable handicap accessibility! On many occasions, Ive had to ask for help from other concert-goers to push my brothers wheelchair down and up the massive ramp to enter/leave the venue. There is not enough handicap parking! Weve also had to complain to the venue and the ticket agencies about the difficulty to buy wheelchair accessible tickets-- and its STILL an issue! If a ticket is available to purchase for general admission/lawn, and equivalent product MUST also be available to those with disabilities! Period.

Great show, very friendly staff, but prices are outrageous. A green chili cheeseburger and small fries is $14. A large beer (20 oz, I think) and a large Sprite was $29.32...... Sec 9, Seat B5. Everything was great. Sprinkles of rain and distant lighting while we were there. Get there early for better parking. We parked far and walked quite a long distance. Had I been alone, I never would have found my way back to the car in the dark. If you take Uber or Lyft, there is special place right outside the entrance for drop off and pick up. Porta Potties only, but they were well maintained. The amphitheater and surrounding areas were clean and felt safe. Only downside was the lines. Long, slow lines at the entrance, the toilets, and concessions.

In terms of amphitheatre/stadiums or complexes for music venues, this particular venue is rather on a small, antiquated scale. Site location is quite advantageous to superb acoustics within a mile of the amphitheatre. The place has easy access parking with am ability and ease of access combining and going.. from parking, to short breaks on the nicely thought out, well manicured lawn seating, which is where we sat. Stage screen monitors are small and sparse, so thank goodness for sound quality. No covered seating and reserved seating is also very limited. This venue could use more popular bands, artists, performers to pay for a deserved overhaul and update.

I sat in the grass area, and with the slope of the hill your vision isnt blocked by the people in front of you. As for the sound...It was perfect! Even in the grass section it sounded perfect. Whoevers doing the sound...they deserve a raise! Leaving the venue...We were out of there in less than ten minutes! The only downsides were the prices of food and drinks, and they force you to rent their folding chairs. You cant bring your own.Im a senior on a limited income and that makes it hard to enjoy aconcert or even be able to afford to go at all. Im a 60 year old girl & my 1st experience visiting Isleta Amphitheater. I went alone, treating myself to a VIP box seat, which included entry into the VIP club with private bathrooms, 2 bands, small pre concert buffet dinner & VIP parking, for the Journey/Def Leppard concert on Sept 5, 2018. I was excited going VIP! Very easy to get to from Los Lunas & park. A bit of a walk from parking to Amphitheater but not as bad as exaggerations I previously read. Quick entry & guided easily to VIP Club. VIP box sat 6. Identical seating for 3 each side, bar style tables firmly attached to rail W/ private drink wells, so drinks dont spill, tall bar stools & service call buttons for each table.Spacious & inviting VIP Club W/good bands. Private bathrooms very convenient instead of long walk & lines at Portal Potty.Buffet consisted of a salad, BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, red beans & a cookie. Delicious but developed bad heartburn. Walked entire venue, went to medical and VIP services w/no antacids anywhere!! Surprised with all the crazy food it sells, they didnt sell at least Tums! I was heartbroken but grateful because I was in so much pain whenabout 5 songs into Journeys set they stopped because of wind, concert eventually canceled & rescheduled for Sept 18th!It was a great venue, but I gave it only 3 stars because of#1- They should have provided, SOME KIND of antacids or Tums SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE on the property, even in Medical for God sake!#2 - Poor VIP Customer Relations! When you pay $250 for a VIP ticket, you want to feel at least a little special & that your presence is somewhat appreciated! Being greeted by a smile makes a big difference in whether you want to come back or not! Everyone wants to be a little bit appreciated & the girl at VIP services clearly showed that was the last place in the World she wanted to be at that moment & that you just being there bothered her.#3- Poor customer Service. convenient server call buttons arent convenient if servers dont respond! Pressed it 3 times with in 1/2 an hour & she was leaning against the wall talking to someone the whole time. I asked if button worked, she said Yeah it works, Why did you want something? Isleta Amphitheatre, come on, REALLY!? is this the people you want interacting with your customers!!?? I think not! My husband & I were blown away by the amazing entertainment you provide but are reconsidering buying season VIP box seats next year. Why buy VIP if youre not treated VIP ?

I actually love this place, its affordable its spacious, the bathrooms are clean, the food and drinks options are wide and it doesnt disappoint Even though its a bit pricey. There is a couple of things that might taint your experience though, one, the traffic when you leave the venue after a concert can be ridiculous, 2, if it rains they never have enough ponchos to sell, 3, idk who the sound guys are but sometimes the sound is off and you are sitting on lawn its even worse, this are things I doubt they have any control of but they can happen so you been warned, besides that, I dont like going to other concert venues anymore because Isleta has some killer sunsets on the background, its breathtaking and its overall my favorite place to enjoy music in Albuquerque
