We always have a good time when we go to Route 66 but they need to work on their CUSTOMER SERVICE. Security guards can be more polite when reminding guests to cover their mouth & nose, after taking a drink. I dont appreciate someone coming up to me barking commands at me as I was putting my mask back on. Nor do I need to wait 25 minutes for a drink that was watered down to be made again.

This place is awesome since the reopening of Covid19,, the first couple visits i didnt win as much but it kept the playtime going for quite awhile. On my recent visit i hit a Jackpot of $3861..!! Definitely would return here and recommend to others compared to other local casinos in the area, i am a new players club member of only 2 months. The staff are very clean here and upkeep sanitation of the slots and following CDC guidelines.

Had a nice time. It really was a great escape for a few hours. We hadnt been out to eat for about 7 months. We ate at the thunder road steak house, had some good tacos, and it was super quiet in the restaurant. It was all you could eat crab legs for $35 but I wasnt that hungry. We got to route 66, about 2pm, NO LINE, played a few machines, went to dinner about 4:30 again NO LINE. We went on a Tuesday. They did have a crew cleaning up the whole time we were there.A couple tips:1. If your ID is expired, make sure you have your temporary on you as well.2. Its only open to New Mexico residents at this time.3. New normal temp checks before you go in, and ya gotta wear a mask.

Slot machines are pretty loose, can hit easily. Gain a lot points really easy too.

Used to come here all the time. Truck drivers kept them alive during the shutdown. Still spent money with no casino. Now theyve opened back up. They only allow NM residents in the main casino. However, coming down the highway the have huge signs saying now open. Nothing about out of state residents not allowed. They have the small casino attached to the truck stop but extremely limited selection. So much for all the THANK YOU PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS signs they had everywhere a few months ago.

Overall wasnt too bad. I was able to wash my truck and take my time. However the machine to get the accessories to do the windows,armor all, etc. It was out of order. I wasnt able to do the other stuff that I wanted to.

If you love to gamble this is the place to go. Its a great place to take your girl out for date night. There Is a fantastic restaurant inside, with delicious food. Oh, and there is a bar for afterwards. worried about your phone dying? Dont. They have charger ports on the machines. All you have to do is make sure you bring the cord.They have every kind of machines you can think of, and the tables are awesome. Just remember to play smart and play responsible.

Love the drive out of Albuquerque to take a break from life today and have some fun at Route 66. Won on Roulette and had a great time playing on the Slots. The drive back was better than when I left Albuquerque.

Youre open to New Mexico residents only ?When we have people who travel from New Mexico to California often. We dont stop you guys from having a good time. When your back running regular program I will never stop at this location you lost a customer for life. I wish California would close its doors to all New Mexico residents and anyone else who comes in town

Its a very nice place. They have contact tracing which is great. But it was still too crowded for me so I didnt stay long. I only went because it was my daughters birthday. Once covid is gone I will go back, but for now I will stay home and safe.

Was nice. Had a good time. The only thing I didnt see was people sanitizing the machines. Good thing I took my sanatizer spray. We need to keep safe to keep buissness open.

I stop here to bye fuel 2 times a week. I stop to get my fuel and have 2 hours to play with. So plan on going into the casino at the fuel building to be told I was not a loud in there because I am not a resident on New Mexico. I ask why to the security guard and was told because I go all over that I am a high risk of passing it on to people.. Let me just say this us Truck Driver are the safest people out here... But that ok because this will be my last time stopping here to get fuel our food...

Solid gaming experience. Ate at the steak place and really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting slot machines. Exterior is cool old neon. Clean, comfortable and fun games.

The buffet used to be good but during my last visit...not so. I played some of their slots but didnt win a dime! It seems like this casino just wants your money! I wonder what they do with their proceeds. Its apparent that they dont share it with the citizens. Now, theyre in a real hurry to open amidst a pandemic to collect more of your hard earned money! Well I wasn’t given the chance to enjoy myself or get a decent meal because of the COVID -19 rules. I am a truck driver I travel to different states regularly and I just want to relax and have a good meal but was denied because of the rule of having to quarantine for 14 days. I understand that we all are trying to stay safe but I’m a truck driver I don’t have time to quarantine 14 days just to get a decent meal what’s the difference of an New Mexico resident who could possibly have been anywhere in the past 14 days and have been infected then myself who literally lives in my truck 16 hours a day and has hardly any contact due to everything being shutdown. I’m an essential worker who delivers these things to such establishments and I can’t even go in to get a decent meal. A shame!! I’m also a regular here who spends my money when I am in town there has to be a different way for us truck drivers .

3 weeks ago I lost my phone and I went to the casino today and I was surprised to find my phone with the security, Im so thankful to them I appreciate them and they are also a good casino and everything is excellent over there I also won a 1500 on a jackpot about 1 month ago!

Extremely disappointed that only New Mexico residents are allowed into the casino. It seems truck drivers are welcome when we pull up with your supplies, but were not welcome to go inside the casino. We cant even play in the one at the fuel island. Were no more exposed to covid than anyone else. In fact, I dont know one driver who has gotten sick. I do, however, know a number of non-truck drivers that have gotten sick.Im sure it wont have any effect on your revenue, but I wont be back.

If your not a New Mexico resident dont bother going you cant get in. They advertise open and says nothing about being only residents. Im a truck driver and parked walked up to the casino where they have signs posted. No where else is this advertised. If youre going to have that policy fine its your casino you should just let people know.

Its a nice place the environment is good but for the most part I think its kinda boring cause there really isnt a lot of excitement going on,in other words nobody really winning decent jackpots. Although they do offer other bonuses for being a regular player. All in all you be the judge and decide for yourself. The food is really good so thats a plus...

I quit stopping there after they quit letting truck drivers in there due to covid risks. And even with them limiting who went in now they had 13 employees test positive. So you have pushed away and lost the business of drivers permanently. I wont even stop to use the restroom now.

Felt very comfortable in the casino. The casino was clean and playing areas were continually cleaned. We had fun!

The floor, cage, front desk and players club staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The security staff will gladly help resolve any issues that you may need their assistance for.In my top two favorite casinos in the local area.

The players club is pretty helpful but any time that Ive gone Ive never really win. I never really get to enjoy my time of being there. The machines just seemed to eat up your money with no pay back in return. I have not even seen no floor attendance or no one wiping any machines and Im usually there for An hour to 3.

Route 66 Casino never disappoints. We had a fun night. Went home with a little extra $$. Not bad for first time since Covid.

It would have been helpful if they noted on their website that non New Mexico residence would be denied entry before they drove 150 each way to go there.

It was easy to go in. The staff there were good in greeding us and making sure the machines were wipr before you sat down.

Not enough hand sanitizers and give out different gloves....but everything else was good!...

Only NM residents allowed. All you have to do is tell them you are a resident or have not traveled out of state in two weeks and they let you in , even with out of state license. BUT YOU ARE BETTER OFF STAYING AWAY!!! Machines are tight as heck. Keep your money and go somewhere else.

This hotel was a great stop after many days on the road! We were driving a large truck and towing a 34-foot trailer. There is a ton of semi and RV parking. An added bonus is that there was a shuttle that picked us up and drove us to the hotel so that we didnt have to walk across the extremely large parking lot. They also paged the driver to drive us back to our trailer in the semi parking lot at the end of our stay.We got a large king bedroom on the fourth floor that was nice and quiet. Large TV, walk-in shower, everything you would expect. Took a long hot shower. Great water pressure! We had forgotten to pack some of our toiletries and the front desk gave us razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving cream etcetera. They were so nice! We had drinks at the 360-degree bar and then had dinner at Thunder Road. It was very good! Will definitely be stopping here again! The staff is extremely friendly and the service is great.

Great place to visit and have a little fun. They got kids quest for the kiddos to have fun while you do your thing. The buffet is great! Rooms are nice and clean. The concerts are great as well.

This casino is better than Fire Rock casino. Within 2 months, I won two jackpots at Route66 Casino. Compare to Fire Rock, I only won 3 jackpots within 9 years. I recommend Route66 Casino!

During this COVID 19 epidemic this facility has significantly decreased in ease and enjoyment. On a good day theres always at least 70 people in front of you in a long line to get in from the back of the establishment. The front entrance is closed and its hard to get out to your vehicle when leaving. If you like to walk long walks, wait in long lines, stand for long periods of time, and spend the gas to go there, my hat is off to you and I hope you win something for the effort.I will not go again until the situation improves and the epidemic is under control and safe. With the situation that we are currently in, its just not practical to gamble right now. I really didnt like going because I knew it was the wrong thing to do in times such as these and I lost money as usual. I will go back when its safe for everyone.

Tonight was the first time we have really been out and also been to the 66 since it reopened. They have done an amazing job! While its only open to New Mexico residents, they check ID at the door, take your phone number and temp, provide sanitizer and gloves when you walk in. There is sanitizer throughout the casino, and distancing between machines. Another bonus is there is no smoking, while I dont mind smoke it was nice because it was another precaution. We had a great time! We didnt win a jackpot but maybe next time. Keep up the great work.

Well I once liked this casino but not anymore. After the casino closed due to covid19 the casino gave manytmany customers a chance to play a virtue game online via email for a chance win free play. Well I won $150 in free play but I cannot claim it because Im not a New Mexico resident. Im in Arizona and cannot self isolate for 14 days my free play expires July 31st So it seems like a scam to offer free play then they tell me I cannot come in. Very rude and unfair. I understand that there is a pandemic but dont.give free play $150 then take it away. I will never go back there again they lost me as a customer.

It has everything plus more! The rooms were decent sized, TV was nice. It was still kind of smoky even in the room. I will stay again!My son love the kids quest area. Has all that one needs to stay for a week. Everything is here. It’s a money hole. But it was fun. My son did not want to leave but we were already 3 hours behind schedule. From the 40 it was a beacon in the dark night.

We stopped for a night at the RV resort while traveling to Idaho. The amenities were great. The casino is clean and all the staff were very friendly. They have an amazing child care area where the kids can have fun (food can also be provided at their kids snack bar) in a safe environment while mom and dad go have dinner. The restaurant we went to served Mexican food and the food was very good. The casino is located outside of the city and creates a peaceful stay at the RV resort. We hope to pass through again.

Drove all the way out there because of something I recived in the mail saying I would have 50 dollars free play. Turns out it doesnt go by the date that is on the ad but Im assuming u have to wait until the players club opens. So drove all the way out here for nothing.

66 care team is very efficient with making sure all machines are wiped down, the sanitizer stations are always ready for use and its a great pleasure with no smoking atmosphere.

I’m not a gambler but since we were staying at the RV resort attached to the casino we decided to wander in. First, they have a kid area called Kid Quest, which was the best thing ever!! Our daughter absolutely loved it & all the employees were so amazing & cared for our girl really well! Never once did we worry about anything as they make you feel so comfortable with letting your child stay there. So since we had some free adult time we decided let’s try the casino out... I have to say for the first time actually spending more than a couple of $$ (because I’m cheap) at a casino, I splurged a little & won! We ended up winning a lot more than we put in, which is always the goal. Either way we enjoyed the casino, it was clean & the staff were very friendly!

Way the hell out there. It looks more like a truck stop. The line was out the door and no one was social distancing.

One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at. Clean restrooms, shower areas 5 stars. Great buffet at the casino and received a nice discount for joining their casino club, which was free.

Greats slot selection but can do better with keeping a variety of old and new. Keeping old popular slots would be nice.

It was nice to see that in this day of the covid-19 virus, that Route 66 is actually putting the well-being of their guests before the well-being of their bank account. At 66 every other machine is shut off so youre not directly sitting next to each other. When you get your players card you are offered a stylus so you dont have to touch the machines. And believe it or not, I saw 66 employees cleaning machines and restrooms.I wont mention the name of the Casino South of Albuquerque. We went there and we wont go back. Their idea of social distancing is putting a plexiglass between each machine.

If youre a truck driver or from out of state dont bother. Cant go inside but New Mexico residents can travel to wherever and go inside. Hippocracy at its finest.

Stadium 66 was good food. Our waitress ariana was great.

We had already checked into room, our belongings were inside. Had to run to store to get needed items that we forgot to pack. When we got back to hotel we were told by security that we could not enter the building due to hotel and casino being at capacity. They do not account for you as a hotel guest. As soon as you leave you have lost your spot regardless if you have already paid for your hotel room and checked in . Very dissatisfied with this horrible service. Hotel guests should automatically be accounted for! And if this is their policy they need to notify hotel guest to not leave because they may pay for a room that they cannot use.

My first time here and its 2 for 1 buffet day. So many choices. I had salad, sopapilla, and green Chile stew. Great server. Very friendly. And boy, it is SLAMMED. Long lines, a bit of a wait but worth it.

It was my husband and I first time. It was an amazing place! Had an awesome time and everyone there so polite and friendly, made us feel very welcome! Ate at a phenomenal restaurant that had food and staff that were off the charts! Best way to explain it... Definitely worth writing home about!!

Have been a customer for a long time as I am an over the road driver but because of covid they are denying access to out of state essential workers unless you quarantine for 14 days ridiculous in otr drivers situation who incidentally keep this casino on buisness. I was unable to come in and relax and take a break. They should be ashamed of the way they are treating essential workers

The lines were very long to get in the casino but the overall experience in the bingo hall was great I felt very safe while I was there employees were especially nice

Ive been here before and it is a decent casino. Currently the are limiting business to new Mexico residents only because of COVID so since Im from Texas I didnt try to go in which probably saved me a couple bucks lol

It’s a 3 star hotel with good people holding it together. I tip my hat to the hard working folks but need to pass on a return, due to the smoke.

We had dinner at the Stadium 66 in the cadinoy. Our sandwiches were huge and delicious. The service and atmosphere was great as well. Definitely recommend and will be back.

The dealers at this casino are overworked and treated very disrespectfully by management. They cant be expected to do a good job. The director is appalling. He expects everyone to work six days a week, which makes them all grumpy. This is not a fun casino to come to, no thanks to Rich Rose.
