My dad lives in the East mountains so we visit often. I love staying here when we visit. The grounds are beautiful, it’s located right off the freeway for easy access, the staff have always been fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast room service is AMAZING. I’ve been staying here off and on for about 6 years. Love it!

First of all, its a casino... but we were the for an event they were provide. . It was put together well. Yes, it was busy and there were a lot of people. It never felt crowded as in some events. It was kept clean. People were kind. Vendors are interactive and polite. A great variety of samples. I look forward to attending in the future for wedding eventWe do not gamble so the casino itself served no purpose to us. It was clean and the staff were did encounter were courteous. The parking was adequate and clean as well. Thank you to the casino for be gracious hosts to this event.

Its closed due to covid. However I have enjoyed all my previous trips there.

The room was spacious and clean. The views were beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful. The buffet was good with lots of different food to choose from. The casino was fun! I even won some money! Would stay again! Thank you for a great getaway!

Truth be told I have never stayed in one of their hotel rooms, but I have been too all the casinos in a 100 miles of this location, you cant beet the interior design and exterior design. Plus, amazing views and scenery. A very close second is Sant Anna Casino.

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons concert. Was a great concert and venue. Frankie sang just like his albums. Venue had a good sound to it. Loved the Sandia Resort. Nice big parking lot and the parking is free for the event. No complaints, good place for a concert!!

WOW. This is the one you need to stay it you enjoy golf and luxury. I enjoyed stopping in to see the sunset and play the slots. I found the place to be perfect to show off Albuquerque NM! If you get married they have HUGE respection rooms. The sunset, the games and the people were all perfect. Im going to plan on staying at the hotel next time I come to visit.

Our stay at the resort was spectacular! Stunning views on a 360 degree level! Comfortable, clean and beautiful rooms. The food was delicious everywhere we ate. Affordable dining. The Spa was totally worth it. Golf was was of the best courses we have ever played. Live entertainment was the best!

The staff was helpful . The front desk girl (cant remember her name- she was working the morning). we needed a microwave to heat up the leftover pizza we had and I called down to the front desk and she had us a microwave within 15 minutes. The view was breath taking. Our 35 th wedding anniversary turn out to be a Great memory with the stay at Sandia Resort.

Beautiful resort! I hope to spend a little time just walking around looking at things and see what more they have to offer. The Casio itself is OK, but as with most casinos the cigarette smoke is a little much. At least Sandia is better than some. Havent stayed in a room yet so cant judge that. The food had always been pretty good and the conference rooms have been great. I absolutely love the Christmas decor.

Very cool place! Used this for a family reunion and was extremely surprised by how great our New Mexico menu was as well as how helpful the staff was. The place is beautiful and the grounds are amazing with and without light. The games are fun and the pool is awesome.

Amazing hotel that regrettably requires that you walk through a smoke-filled casino to check in. Had there been a direct entrance to the hotel our stay would have been perfect. I sometimes opt for casino-related hotels to get the most value for the money but after this experience I probably will avoid them in the future.

Worth it! Staff are great! The beds are firm, but comfortable. Great atmosphere. The casino is a bit small, but what they have is wonderful. Great tables (even though I lost). It is very well lit and clean. It doesnt look dingy like most casinos. Just stayed a night, but it was great. Breakfast buffet is great as well.Dont bother staying at others in town. Save yourself the hassle. Its really good here.

We always enjoy our stays at Sandia Resort & Casino. The rooms are spacious, and we have never had any issues with noise or cleanliness. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoy eating in The Council Room, as well as the buffet. Room Tip - when booking ask for a mountain-view double queen with a balcony.

I Always Enjoy my time here. From the Beautiful rooms to the massive swimming pool and a high variety of food options, you are never bored or hungry. I always seem to walk away from Sandia Casino a winner, whether big or small. Fun for the Entire Family or Just to take that special someone for a night or maybe even the weekend. My Babe does.

Outstanding views from our 7th floor rooms. Very top quality rooms, totally upscale. Great food and the price for room service meals was so low and all eateries were very low price but super high quality. Rat Pack Show in events center was fantastic and we cant wait for their return. Snow covered mountains as a backdrop to this amazing resort and casino.

Always a great time. TVs for watching the game. Great food for all types of budgets. Clean and well ventilated so the smoking doesn’t bother ya.

This was a surprise gift for my 56 birthday from my daughter. We flew to Albuquerque New Mexico to celebrate I had such a blessed time at the resort and with my daughter

I was treated to an amazing birthday dinner at the fine dining restaurant upstairs. The server was attentive and friendly and Chef Sean was amazing in creating a meal that I could eat with my food allergies. The layers of flavoring, attention to detail & freshness of the food made this self proclaimed foodie a very happy birthday girl. It wasn’t a meal, but a truly divine experience.

Stayed here September, 2018 for a short two day stay. Rooms were nice and had great view. Casino was fun and every employee went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Bien Shur Restaurant amazing, so beautifulthe view is ! Buffet amazing, omelets are made to order and amazing! Hotel room was nice, wished for nicer blankets and beds! Need better trained bar tenders! Overall great place to get away!

BEAUTIFUL hotel!! Have stayed several times, it never gets old, and the view of the Sandia Mountains always amazes. And the luxury is VERY difficult to beat! Staff has, overall, exceeded my expectations every time. The bar is a very nice place to kick back and enjoy a cold one between playing sessions. And the games are a blast with very professional dealers and pit bosses. One suggestion I would like to offer----it would be really cool if there were a 5 or 10 dollar baccarat table out on the main casino floor with the other blackjack and craps tables. This way, lower limit players can learn and enjoy the game, too!

Its a Casino, but a nice one. Great help when they built a huge, attached 4-level parking garage. Also increased the casino size by half. Lots of room now!! LOTS of machines-odds seem average. Lots of choices from penny to high rollers. Gaming tables abound but not obtrusive. VERY CLEAN lots if choices from snacks to posh restaurants. Wide array of palates. I go a lot for the summer concerts at their Amphitheatre-VERY nice. Perfect size for all to enjoy and a great venue for everyone on the circuit. Just saw Aussie Pink Floyd last night & my throat is sore from yelling and my face hurts from smiling! From the Valet parking in front of cascading, sparkling fountains of blue to the renowned golf course, Sandia Resort & Casino ROCKS!

Good restaurants and the casino has a very pleasant atmosphere. They also do a good job of eliminating the smell of cigarettes on the casino floor. It is not entirely gone, but it has been brought down to a level where I dont notice it. Looking forward to seeing Nora Jones at their outdoor amphitheater in May. It will be the first show I will have seen there. It looks very promising.

There were a lot of people and they were all friendly. I danced with a few beautiful women and talked to even more so I cant complain! Oh by the way I WON $13,425.78 and I only put in $10.00!¡!¡!¡ Im really happy with Sandia for not bothering me after I won. Most places want you to buy a room and put all that money back into their hotel and they said congratulations and then I went dancing and brought some friends home and went back the next day won another $600. So Ya I Will Definitely Be There Soon!!!

Gorgeous room, great tub. I needed an overnight get away. I know where Im going to stay the next time I need another one. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A bit pricey, but so worth it.

I was there last Saturday in the fine dining out Waitress Jennifer gave poor service all around she was greeting everyone and asking them how there doing and if they need anything and then she got to my table and she rudely asked how she could help us and I wanted to order something to eat so she was in patient and the icing on the cake was when she brought our drinks back which where two hot read and a beverage she ended up slamming our teapots down, and walking away, Another Waiter happen to walk by after and we let know what was going on and he sent the manager over a d ended up waiting on us the rest of the night come to find out she tried to turn it around on us and say we where being rude. What Customer service she has.... I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else it was like she was racial profiling

Its a fun time at Sandia. Slot machine pay out pretty good. Employees are nice and courteous. Has two food courts with affordable pricing for meals and snacks.However, there tends to be alot of smoke on casino floor. Im happy to say the bathrooms are kept clean. Beverage stations are kept stocked and clean as well.

Had brunch. About $15 a person includes drink. I think it was a good choice for buffet. Many different entrees and sides. Desert choices were many and quality. Service was pretty solid. Seemed like there was double coverage per area. We never ran dry and were constantly asked if there was anything else needed. I would, personally, like to try breakfast at Sandia next time but very comfortable with brunch if I sleep in!!

We arrived to the sound of Rascal Flatts singing in the outdoor auditorium right on the property. Cool! The swimming pool area is beautiful with the mountain as a backdrop, and the grounds are pretty with the surrounding golf course. The room is spacious, especially the bathroom. The staff are pleasant and courteous.However, while I could get on the internet on my cell, I could only get an internet connection on my laptop, standing at the reception desk! I got only excuses from IT and a suggestion to change rooms (Room 336). Not an ideal way to use my time, besides we stayed during the Balloon Festival and the hotel was fully booked. If internet connection is as important to you as it was to me, this is not the hotel for you. As we continued on our travels, we spent nights at the Comfort Inn and Holiday Express, where internet connection on that same laptop was flawless, at less than half the cost of this $350 a night hotel.The only way in and out of the hotel is through their massive casino which allows smoking. The stench was awful and I smelled like a dud cigarette.The carpet in the room was stained. It took four calls over 2 days to get them to come and shampoo it.Having flown over 2,000 miles to attend the Balloon Festival, I was floored at checkin after being told the shuttle to the field was full! I was given a $30 credit which I appreciate, but thats not the point.Only allowed 1500 characters so cant say more.

Great place to go and have a great time, even if you dont like to gamble. They have great music on the weekends, and on Thursday and Sunday, they usually have a DJ, so you can still enjoy. The hotel is very nice, but they need a few more things for the kiddos to do, other than a swimming pool. Sandias just an all around great place. Experience it for yourself.

Rooms and fire pit and breakfast at the Thur Shan was amazing good. Staff very helpful check in and check out very easy. Breakfast ate here didnt have to drive around Albuquerque everything done here at Sandia casino. Price very good on travel budget as well. Clean staff at every turn to help.

Get this, on my birthday weekend. My DD was approached by a manager and was “cut off” and told to leave. We asked what the reason for and was told by security that in the state of New Mexico there is no law saying there needs to be a reason for being cut off. Our server was stupefied that we where asked to leave. We feel like she was discriminated against for something unknown. Nothing was broken and we where not causing conflict with any other patrons. Worst experience I have had at Sandia ever. Coming from a New Mexico native.

This is a great place! The architecture and the surrounding grounds are beautiful and there is so much to see and do. Great place for an outdoor concert with a great sound system and very helpful and friendly staff.

Amazing staff! Amazing rooms! Everything in the room was very, very clean and very comfortable! The set up of their rooms were very very well thought out! No complaints whatsoever. My family and I cant wait to return!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room and view were outstanding very clean.We ordered room service my girlfriend did not finish her sandwich and later that morning she wanted to warm it up but the room did not have a microwave disappointed about that. The valet people were exceptional its worth 5 stars but the microwave issue bugged my girlfriend

Went on a Sunday when they had a promotion for free gifts and unfortunately there was also a craft show at the same time. Parking was a challenge especially since they had part of the parking garage blocked off. Place was packed and it was hard to get machines. Wont go back again when other events are being hosted. Was way too crowded for my liking.

This was a really cool resort. The casino was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was amazing. They have a great poker room. On top of that, there is a rooftop restaurant bar! I wasnt able to make it up this time but hopefully Ill be stopping through again.

Gigantic casino with friendly staff. very clean and bright and welcoming. there are all types of slot machines for any price point. the food is very reasonably priced. soda and coffee is free. sign up for the players club! this is a great place to have a drink, go bowling, go dancing and enjoy a night out.

Rooms were immaculate. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Food in restaurant was excellent. Best omelets in cafeteria as well as buffet. Chicken/pasta was fabulous in the restaurant. Grounds/golf course was beautiful. Lunch at golf club was delicious. The banquet rooms are HUGE. Lovely decor. Loved the wall honoring their soldiers. Very nice. Would definitely book a stay here again. Perfect location for Balloon Festival and fireworks.

Great concert venue. Not a bad seat in the house! Not too big, not too small. Pretty easy getting in and out. Gave us free rain ponchos because it looked like it was going to rain. That was a nice touch!

I havent been there in several years. It was the day after Thanksgiving. It was jammed packed. We did do very well gambling. We came out ahead. Employees were super nice and helpful! The only thing I did not like was the Fried Bread Taco I ordered at the Chili Ristra Cafe! I also order a piece of lemon cake. The cake was excellent!

Nice casino but way too smoky for me. Its packed too, lots of regulars there, kind of sad to see so many elderly folks addicted to gambling. Beautiful property with a lovely golf course and very nice spa.

The place was nice. The staff was courteous and there was a good vibe there. My family and I had fun. There is a live band that sounds pretty good and there is a non smoking area where you can gamble.

Both the new & old in architecture and ambiance @ a Native American facility. In all the years Ive been there never a dirty anything. Restrooms, hotel rooms, grounds, walks, landscape, pool, & cabanas have always been meticulously clean. Personnel helpful & courteous.My only complaint is that smoking is still allowed in nearly all of the public areas.

I hate most casinos not cause i lose, i got a fair balance of winning and losing with the casino. good drinks reasonable food prices though most of their food is ehh, their buffet is good. staff is friendly and its not dark and damp like most casinos. its bright and alive.

The casino was dirtier than what we are used to and of course the air quality was pretty bad. One thing we loved was that they had Beyond Meat burgers! They were great with lots of fresh ingredients. This kind of makes up for such a tight paying casino. Yes, we lost :( but we had fun doing it. In my opinion, Sandia is the best casino and resort in the area. Check out their entertainment schedule too.

A nice casino, definitely calmer than Isleta. They were very busy but things seemed good everyone was in their own world. Dealers were nice and provided a good time. Pit bosses were uptight and not too sure why they were so concerned with watching a $5 blackjack table but got over it. Lots of smoking going on in this casino so I couldnt stay long. They do have a non-smoking area with machines but the energy was non existent in those. Worth stopping in for if youre in the area.

Although I didnt gamble, I had a huge payoff! The views were amazing.

I have a TERRIFIC time there, WON lots of money & it is easy to win. There is so many games to play on. Free drinks. Next time, I will stay at their hotel.

I havent been to this casino in years. There have been a lot of upgrades. The golf course location looks wonderful. The casino itself looks well maintained and clean. A person gambling always wishes that the machines paid out more. My only draw back was that there were tons of penny slots everywhere. Card games seemed non existent unless I missed it somewhere.

Casino was overly busy, had to park at the far end of the garage, we checked 3 levels. Inside of Casino was very smokey. No promos the day I visited. There was a line for food at the snack bar, and then when the line died out there was nowhere to sit.On the upside, I saw some new and old slot machines, free drinks, and the snack bars had a decent selection of items. I tried the Indian frybread taco, which wasnt had, but the chili they used in it was bland.Bathrooms were clean, everything easy to find. Very modern and clean. Hotel prices however were very high.

This is a review of the buffet. It is consistently good. Varied selection and well prepared. It is a buffet! Selection and variety are what count. This place meets both in an above average manner. In my opinion a bit too pricy but you do get a good selection of dishes.

My luck at this place is always up and down, but I just dont come here to gamble. I love that this casino has so many other things other than gambling. The night life is awesome and Ive never been let down but the musical acts. Food is inexpensive and great tasting.

I hate gambling but Ive been here several times with my parents. The place smells like an ashtray inside, and the layout is impossible to remember. Ive never left with more money than I came in with, which indicates to me the machines are too stingy. I do like some of the restaurants, though Ive heard some horror stories about them.

. The fiery Food Festival was awesome. All the sauces BBQ sauces candy margarita mix was great. Have gone the last 4 years would recommend to everyone.

Normally, we love staying at Sandia. This time though we had an adjoining room and the neighbors were loud early in the morning. We also had put our order for room service on the door hours before the deadline and come to find out when we were waiting for our breakfast, they had never picked the order up.

This one of the better casinos in the area but theres nothing sexy about the atmosphere. Like most casinos, it stinks of cigarette smoke. Theres mostly old people walking around with cigarettes & oxygen tanks.Parking is good. The restaurants offer an excellent selection. The delis also offer great food at very reasonable prices.

We ate at the buffet and it was NOT good. We were told that Tuesdays were but one get one free. We arrived early enough to sign up for a players card that was needed for the 2 for 1. After a 30 minute wait in line, it was our turn. Only to be charged full price. Apparently I didnt have the right card! (I was told, it was all I needed when he gave it to me)

Super nice place. Too bad that smoking is allowed. ( Personal Preference )We will be staying for 3 days. We don’t plan on gambling but we do plan to explore the Albuquerque area.I will say this about the Sandia.It’s a beautiful. Lots of Native Art work.The front of the facility and amphitheater is going through a remodel and or expansion. But it’s not impacting the quality of our stay.We ate at the Counsel room and the burger and fries were awesome.Meg had the turkey wrap and it was really good.Price was not bad as well.The rooms were nice and the bathrooms were spacious.The only caveat is a strange rumbling noise every so often in the evening. We were on the 6th floor of 9.I posted images of the building, Counsel room, and our room.I’m staying here for 3 days and No matter where you go or stay there is good and bad. And this morning was the first bad event. I went down for breakfast my server probably came to me and took my order she asked me if I wanted bananas on my French toast and I said no and my french toast came back with bananas on them. Not a major big deal but it was kind of sad because I was the only person in the Counsel room restaurant.I felt the waitress to be un-attentive and when she brought me the bill I was ready to pay and she left. It took her forever to get back to my table. This is just a small blip it doesn’t change my star rating. I will continue to report over the next couple of days of my experience at Sandia.As I check out today I’m reflecting back on my stay here.The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The beds were a bit hard but I’ve slept on harder.The casino was nice. It was Smokey from about mid day until about 8pm. The place actually smelled ok at night and in the morning. So if your a non smoking gambler and want to play more than slots go off peak times.The live band on Wednesday was nice. Played Rock/ Country.The Hotel staff was nice. They greeted us coming and going and asked if we needed anything.Cleaning crew was extra nice.I exclusively ate at the Counsel Room. Both in the Dining and in the Bar.The experience was a mixed bag.Food was awesome.The list of foods I ate while there was.-The Classic Burger. Best burger I’ve had in a while.-French Toast and Bacon. Really good and served fresh and hot.-Fish and Chips. Really, Really good.-Turkey Bacon Wrap sandwich. Couldn’t eat it all. But it was awesome.The last night we were there I went down an hour before they closed. All I wanted was some ice cream for my wife and I.I was told I had to order to-go’s at the bar.After waiting 10 min and watching 3 separate servers walk by I left.As a paying customer when you see servers and you make eye contact with them and they still walk by, then walk by again without serving anyone makes you a little upset.I had issues with sense of urgency from some of the Counsel Room Staff and 1 time they got my order wrong.If the dining area would have been busy at any of these times I would have understanding. But most of the time I was one of 3 customers or I was by myself.As a whole I give Sandia 4 stars out of 5However the Counsel Room would rank a 3

Very nice, southwestern style architecture with a modern twist, must come and experience for yourself, table games, slots, poker, and more. Sports book is a coming attraction in 2020. Food is good, different restaurants for your taste, go experience for yourself.

Sandia buffet is one of the better ones in town if not the best. Different ethnicity foods to choose from and an ample salad bar. Ridiculously large dessert bar. Only thing missing in the dessert bar is a chocolate fountain.Food is all fresh, you can choose what you want from the buffet and many stations are also made to order right there.No shortage of parking space either. Easy access right off I-25 on Tramway. Lots of slot machines too filled with the aroma of cigarette smoke. Non smoking slot area as well.

One of the most beautiful casinos Ive ever been to. The Christmas decorations are absolutely breathtaking. I encountered numerous friendly employees from the front desk to the hallways to helping with redeeming points at the machine. I used to think Sandia was too far because I live in Los Lunas but it was worth the drive.

There are plenty of games for different tastes and seemingly frequent changes in slot machines. The concert area is very nice, its a little like a pit, and the acoustics are very good. There is also a wonderful view of the Sandia mountains. (Also, I dont think they know I should hit the jackpot with every spin )

THIS IS THE BEST VIEW IN ALBUQUERQUE!We dined at Ben Shur, which is on the top floor of the resort. The view of the Sandia Mountains to the east is awesome! The view of the city to the west is just as incredible. I strongly recommend arriving in time to watch the sunset, which you can enjoy from the lounge before dinner. I added pictures of the view from previous visits.The staff is so attentive! They took great care of us. I highly recommend Adriana in the dining room, and must say we have always had incredible sevice no matter who is attending us.The food was fabulous! I had the Sea Bass and it was so tasty with leeks in the sauce. My husband had the Filet Mignon and it melted in his mouth.This is a great location for a celebratory or romantic dinner.Dont forget the lounge is a beautiful location to hang out, relax, enjoy an adult beverage, and appetizers, with the BEST VIEW IN ALBUQUERQUE! I adore Jonathon as a bartender. He always has a smile! (There is a band on weekends starting at 9pm.)TIP: The lounge has 20 bottles of wine for $20. Share a bottle of wine and some appetizers with a friend or two while and enjoy the sunset!

A casino that has a lot of room for development and a staple in the casino industry in Albuquerque. Nice variety of slots and table games available. Bingo was very crowded and definitely needed more cashier. Hopefully Lady Luck is on your side here. The food available can be a hit or miss but still seems to hit the spot.

Went to the fiery Food Show. Very busy but was a good time. Had a Philly cheese steak sandwich at their Cafe. Very tasty, affordable, and received my order in an appropriate time. I dont gamble here so I really cannot comment on the looseness of the slots or anything related. The outdoor amphitheater is my favorite venue in Albuquerque to watch a concert. The sound and visual effects are great and there are many concession stands to get a snack or drink. The council room is a nice semi upscale restaurant with a separate bar serving local craft brews.

Great buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Even though its a big place the seating area isnt too loud.

We really enjoyed our stay. we had a very nice room with a breathtaking view of the green and the mountains. the restroom was as large as a room and very elegant. We had dinner at the restaurant buffet and the food was delicious in spite of it all being room temperature. Craig was very helpful in locating my glasses that I had lost the night before. He took the time to go in search of them when the person at the other end of his microphone did not locate them. We would definitely, stay there again.

By far the best casino around here. The place is huge and filled with machines and tables. The bar area is big too and the rooms are very comfy and clean. I come here all of the time and will continue to come here.

2nd Annual Festival of lights. It was short and sweet. Hot chocolate and coffee with cookies for kids of all ages.

Very nice resort and casino in Albuquerque! Slightly out of the city if you are wanting to go down town but over all a great atmosphere. I have stayed here before. If you are going for some laid back fun, nice room, and pool then this is a good spot. Dealers are nice and will help teach you the games.If you are into serious Blackjack dont go here. They all use CSM shoes, hard 17, only a few tables. Google around for better options for that.

One of the best casino New Mexico, well designed with a variety of unique venues for concerts, golf, conventions,Including the massive screen in their main stage bar area, the place to be seen. Their buffet is massive another elegant exquisite food areas.
