Great for walking or jogging. Its about .8 miles around the soccer field area. Not heavily congested w/people. Bathrooms are currently open. Very well kept/maintained. Pets welcome as long as theyre on a leash. My new exercise spot.

The splash park is still open, though lots of others have closed for covid. We went on a weekday morning, and it was very easy to distance ourselves, it was only one or two families per hour.They have 3 tables, and a separate bench, all under shade. If you leave the center table empty, it leaves 10 feet or more between the seating.The water is chlorinated somehow (could tell by smell) and chilly, very nice in the heat!Bathrooms are right there by the tables, accessible inside the gated area. A nice, flat grassy area is inside the gate too, good for kicking a ball or playing catch. I appreciated that the grass was treated, didnt see any ant hills, so the kids could run barefoot on it without worries.

Great park for softball tournaments! Playground for the kiddos, concessions, and clean bathrooms for the bonus!

Favorite place to though. And without dogs. Hate that the coaches and parents do not make kids police up after their games though. Very trashy after games are over

This is a large park with plenty of room and fields. The facilities are neat and well maintained and the fields are great.

We tried out the bike path. Wel maintained. One loop around was about a mile and 3/4.

Citizens park is a calm park for people of all ages to jog, play, and just be active.

The park was clean and also the restrooms were clean. The play ground was safe for the children to play on. Over all good for the family for ball games and children to play.

Love Citizens Park ! I had the privilege of growing up here and getting to use these facilities for many seasons. The park is kept clean and has good quality parks. Outside of the baseball fields, there are many well-maintained batting cages and soccer fields. I would highly suggest any leagues or recreational activities at this park. In my experience, the staff has always been friendly and approachable. The concession stand is of course, overpriced, but such is literally every concession stand at any game. Still a great park !

We had a wonderful time seeing the lights at Hopelands. We were lucky enough to get to ride the trolley both ways!

The fields are huge here and I love seeing my son play soccer. The only thing I dont like right now is that the bleachers and sitting folded up to one side and not in use. Parents who do not bring chairs are forced to stand or sit in the grass which is ridiculous because bleachers are just sitting around.

A very good area to bring your children to have a good time with others, especially with the ice skating rink.

Great park, the cities of North Augusta and aiken have always found ways to impress. I wish columbia county commissioners would take a lesson from them, clean park and great play areas for the little ones that may not be playing sports yet

I love this park, the sports, the greenery, space, awesome track!

The picnic area of the splash pad is unsafe. It should have a rough surface like the rest of the area. My great niece slipped and fell twice and my great nephew once, as well as other kids. It was a hot topic amongst the adults.

Nice place. Only down fall not much for smaller kids to do if inside gate is locked. Theres no all day park for litte ones.

The park is a great place for kids T-ball, baseball, soccer, and flag football. The splash area is also a hit with the little ones during the hot days.

It is always a clean place. The employees there are always very respectful and kind. The only place I would say could use work is that the bathrooms are a little bit dirty. All in all it is a great place for family fun.

Good looking park. Horrible concession stands. Went for a tournament, and they literally had nothing! The umpires were 15 years old and werent even watching the games. To busy goofing off and dancing. Horrible experience.

Could a little more wheelchair friendly. The entrance is completely uphill and I have a manual wheelchair. I had blisters on my hands when I left. Not to mention the maze you have to navigate to get to the back fields. Our daughter plays softball and we are usually at Field 14, which is in the back. I have a compression fracture in the vertabrae between my shoulder blades and that hill killed it along with rest of my damaged back... Needs to be addressed for sure. *Hint, staff, if youre reading this...

We love walking 1 mile track and doing exercises on there equipment.

Great venue but unable to get anyone to answer the phone or answer emails. Apparently you have to go in person to get responses. Would have loved to get my son in t-ball but missed the deadline because lack of response.

Very nice place to walk. Not many people there in the mornings so its very quiet. Once the evening draws near, more people start showing up as sports teams often play or practice there. There are about 4 different loops that you can walk on.

Fake park! Don’t bother. Visiting from out of town and google led me to citizens park. Looked great, packed up & headed out but was very disappointed. I brought my 2 eager kids here on a weekend - the playground was fenced off & locked. Odd..Headed to the splashpad area where apparently a birthday party had commandeered the entire area. Not just the shelter...the whole park! I guess only some some citizens allowed. What self-respecting park with 2 playground areas has *nothing* for kids to do at 11am on a Sunday? Total bait & switch- had to literally dry tears and leave.

Great sports park, fields, and sprayground. However we were never able to find the actual playground.

Good to have a place like that with the kids you can take the kids and just relax I didnt see half the stuff they are that they showing the pictures but its nice have somewhere like that with the kids can just go and play and cool off while you can just sit and watch Im not have to worry

This is one of my favorite parks in Aiken. Its beautiful, my son loves the spray ground, and its a nice place to relax or workout. Love it!

This is a quality park kept in fantastic shape. The fields and grass are all in good quality condition. You can play a pickup sport or an organized sport here. There is plenty of room and plenty of room to do anything you want.

The Splash Pad is a great place to go on a hot day! Kids love the water. Clean bathrooms. Needs more seating when it is very busy!

Very well kept grounds. Nice place for a stroll or to watch the many sports activities taking place in the fields. If you have young children they can take advantage of the free Spray ground.

My son plays baseball here. Nice facility. They need a bigger splash park for the kids. The staff needs to check picnic tables and chairs at all fields for wasp nests regularly. Restroom supplies and cleanliness need to be checked on more often.

Ive only been here ince, to let my wild 2 year old grandchild just run in a field, because thats her style she just wants to run like a wild pony. There was plenty of safe space for her to do just that. My daughter has brought the f4andchilren here in summer alot to play in the splash oark and they enjoy that alot. My dather inlaw used to play in a softball team that had games here and i attended one of those games. Its a nice place

This is a great place for community sports they have 13 baseball fields and enough other field space for 7 plus soccer games youth size field. They also have batting cages and a walking path. The crown jewel is the spray-ground.

My team enjoyed the park! They are 14 year old girls who had more on the playground than on the playing field.
