Albee Beach is really lovely. Just a heads up to everyone that it is now for Residents only for the parking. You need a card in your window and the staff will not let you in to park without one. You can still hike in from town and use the beach if you can find parking elsewhere. I am hoping this change is not permanent and if it is that they offer passes for purchase for non residents. I have been going to this beach for years regularly throughout the summer as I live near by and, hope to again in the future.

Quiet small beach. Clean clear waters, beautiful views, sun or shade. Clean bathrooms! Nice.

Albee has the perfect combination of beach and shade. The washrooms are clean and well kept, with a couple of showers outside for rinsing off the sand. There are a couple of grills available as well.

Beautiful day! Gets busy fast. Nice clear water and beautiful sand. Womens room was clean and well maintained. I also borrow a book for my stay from the lending library.

Very nice small beach on the lake. Note: the small parking lot is limited to Wolfeboro residents. However I did see several out of state plates. So you will want to check it out.

Noticed on the Wolfeboro website that it is not open to the public anymore. Hope it is temporary. Really enjoyed going here with my family. Would be willing to pay as a nonresident to go here.

Very nice place to go swimming

This was a cute little beach to go and cool off. There isnt a whole lot of room on the sand, but there are a bunch of shady, little picnic areas that are close enough to the water. Probably a good place to go for lunch and a swim.

We love this place because its a small family based fishing area where we feel comfortable letting out children have a great time while not haveing to worry about too many people. Been going for a few years now. The Area is always clean and they have a nice bathroom and shower house

Best beach in Wolfeboro

Love it at Albee..my husband and I got engaged on the beach. Now its special that way too! We try to go every Sunday to swim and hang out..thanks Albee beach #my happy place!

A beautiful beach, with spots in the sun or shade, there are picnic tables and a couple grills to use, also real bathrooms and changing rooms plus outdoor showers to rinse off at, the day I went it was very busy and parking was difficult as there are limited spaces, they are working on proposals to the town to expand the parking lot and paint lines which I think will help. I plan on bringing my kids here again as it was such a great experience

To be totally honest with you it was the worst experience I have ever had in my lifetime and I am 62 years old. I ran into this woman who told me my grill which was the smallest drill that could be purchased and the flame was too high and too close to where everyone else was, the flame on the grill was no higher than 6 in high because it was charcoal and she had replied that it was at least 4 feet high which is impossible. I have never heard of such ridiculous rules in my entire life and like I said Im 62 years old and have never had a bad experience like this ever in my life. I just went to the beach to relax and enjoy the quiet and also the scenery and it turned out to be a complete chaos. I know for sure that you could learn something from the rest of the country as far as rules and regulations on a beach and I know this because I have traveled extensively throughout North America and also most of the world including China.

This is a wonderful place to spend the day. The water is usually warm and relaxing. There are picnic tables and a good place to prepare your lunch. The rocky shore is the only place to be careful when getting in the water. There are trails to walk or ride your bike. I love it there

This was a great launching point for paddle boarding. The park is clean and very nice. It was not busy at all, but that might be due to the cloudy day. We had a blast!

The water is wicked warm. Nice space for lots of familys. Picnic tables available on first come first serve bases. It has a great new public restroom with showers. It is also located in the best walking path in wolfeboro. Its the old train tracks. They go for miles and miles. Great views in lots of locations.

Cozy, quiet and beautiful

Albee Beach was the headquarters/registration site/start location of the Great Smith River Canoe and Kayak Race. Plenty of parking, restrooms. Great location and a great job by the Wolfeboro Lions Club.

Lots of parking, clean beach and multiple life guards on duty. Great place to take kids for the day.

Often busy but usually well kept and clean with working facilities, plenty of picnic tables and changing rooms. Just enough parking space. Overall a great little town beach

Pleasant beach with picnic tables and nor swimming area. Can be a little crowded in summer but there is lots of space to share. Brest part of there is a little box of library books to enjoy whilst relaxing on the beach.

Free to visit with a large swim area and lifeguard on duty. There are plenty of shady areas to stay cool if you arent in the water. They have a sailing program and trails nearby as well.Bathroom/changing area was large and clean.Nice to see the mini library for beach readers.Limited parking and no apparent source of potable water. Only what you bring with you.Will definitely be back.

Outside showers, bathrooms, plenty of picnic tables, shade, free parking, beautiful scenery, clean beach and water. I saw one charcoal grill to use. No Dogs, which I think is a good rule. Theres a big swim area thats roped off and marked for boats to steer clear. There looked to be a boat rental area. Excellent place!

It always amazes me that this hidden gem has remained relatively hidden over the years! Ive been visiting this beach since the mid 90s! One of my favorite places in the state!

Small quiet beach tucked beneath the pines at the edge of Lake Wentworth. Lifeguard on duty, picnic tables, grills and small boats available along with off street parking in the lot. Clean bathrooms with changing stalls on site make it very convenient.
