I didnt actually stay at the place but these people were so accommodating to allow us just to tour the golf course after season I went down there on a recommendation of a buddy of mine who had played the place and told me the views were spectacular we had gone down there for a getaway weekend and that happened to be the highlight of the weekend was taking a golf cart and touring the 18 holes on that mountain thank you so very much

Its charming, Ruth the owner is very kind and accommodating. The feeling is like being home.the food is very comforting and the below good. Cross the street to the bar and golf course,shop.

We had a great stay, will be back this summer. Great place to relax.

I stayed in the main house upstairs. The room was large, clean and accommodating. I was there for a quilters retreat over the weekend. The food was great and the wait staff and hosts were friendly and helpful. I will definitely come next year if I have the chance.

Food was spectacular. Chicken pot pie loaded with fresh vegetables and chicken. Crust was light and fluffyPork stew tomato base with carrots and onions was amazing

We were there to play The Mountain Course. It is a challenging and beautiful course. Golf carts are well maintained and staff is very friendly. Lots of visible wildlife along the course. Easy to get there on state route 23 just west of Windham. Good food and great decor in The Tavern. Love this place.

The nine hole could use a little sprucing up and a few signs, but great for my kid and I to play a round. Look forward to the playing the main course.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The building was built in 1805 and has a fireplace in the room. The Internet is open and works perfectly. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend this place.

Great place to go. The rooms are very comfy and the food isn’t the BEST but it’s not the WORST. It’s more in the middle. The reason for not giving it a five star is that it needs some repairs or improvements. It is kind of worn down and old and is in desperate need of repair in some spots.

Barely Okay in a Pinch –Room Not Secure and a Tripping Hazard on Walkway.This is a review of The Grey Rock building only. It is in great need of updating, including the bathroom with an extremely low shower head (not a tall person, 5’ 8’). Security and tripping Issues were the reason for the one star. The main issue was the security of the room. Our first room was an interior room which was open (door not shut) as we approached. We were not able to close the door. After multiple calls we changed rooms to an exterior room. The exterior door could have been kicked in by a 10 year old and picked with a butter knife or wedged open with a credit card. The exterior lights were off when we returned late night. There was a hose across the walkway. This was being used to fill the pool and not visible. Note – it was a cool weekend , not swimming weather and this could have been accomplished during mid-week when the building was empty, in no doubt. Also, the building was about 100-150 feet from parking and no drop off access. The included full breakfast was very good, including the service.

There is a great golf course 18 holes of challeng and fun. If you play golf its definitely wreath checking out. The food at 1805 tavern was good. The tavern was a old barn bielt in 1805. There are antiques from the ceiling of the tavern. How cool is that? The staff was great also. It was great day.Doug Smith

I found this golf course on Google Maps. What a delightful layout; winding through the hills and trees. The greens were quick and well manicured. There was a hot blues band playing in the bar when I finished. Lovely. Worth the extra drive to find this place. I will be back.

The accommodations were nice, wifi provided, food available on premises (when available), and close proximity to resort and golf links.

The 18 hole golf course is beautiful and challenging course . The Windham house is a great place to have dinner and drinks after a day on the course . The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is also good ..not great but good.

What a wonderful place. Ruth helped make our family reunion a sucess. There was something for everyone to do. Great weekend.

One of the best golf courses in the County and it is always in terrific condition with fast greens and a beautiful, challenging layout.
