I like that you get one warning to be quiet or they make you leave. The snacks are good. My favorite is the fried pickles. I also love that there is so much space you dont have to worry about your seat being kicked.

I wish they were a little stricter on their covid policies but it was a beautiful cinema and comfortable seating. The show was amazing but thats a whole other review. Lol.

The Cinema was abiding by covid rules. The Royal Cheese Burger is good. The movie The Croods 2 is hilarious. The ice tea was really good.

Had a great time and food at this theater. Although there is a limited menu currently and social distance between seats. It was still a great experience. Very clean and service was excellent. Pizza, wings, and cheese fries were delicious. Would recommend if you need a change of scenery and chance to get out of the house.

This Alamo is nothing like the one on Ashburn and thank God for that! We had a great experience at this theater! The service was awesome, good was great, movie was phenomenal. We will be back!

I love the Alamo because they play older movies, I wish more movie theaters did this! That said, I brought my younger brothers to see a movie here and was upset because there was a group of loud obnoxious guys sitting in front of us in the theater who had been at the bar and were clearly intoxicated. For this reason, I would use caution bringing kids here. I don’t who thought it was wise to have a bar inside a movie theater!

Alamo theaters are by far my favorite. They offer such a unique experience and absolutely delicious food. The Winchester location is no different than the rest, havent once had a bad experience here.

Supporting local theatre as well as the movies. It is great to have such a place here in the area.

They have a full alcohol menu but an extremely limited food menu because not serving lemons will prevent Covid-19.... the service was garbage before but is far worse now. Came here for dinner and a movie and the menu only consists of their trash microwave pizzas and 3 sandwiches.

This is a theatre for MOVIE LOVERS!! The food menu is excellent (GREAT veggie/vegan options!), the waiters are efficient and respectful of your watching experience, and the popcorn and drinks are top notch. Go film club!!

The Alamo Drafthouse is my number one choice for a date-day afternoon/evening movie. The service is awesome, the prices are fair, and the experience is overall enjoyable every time.

First time here. It was very nice. We saw How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World. The show was perfect. Audio and video was perfect. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. We only got snacks... Popcorn and drinks and mozzarella sticks, but they have a much larger menu. Might make a meal of it the next time we go. Its a little pricey... But isnt all theater food? The extra comfy seats kinda make up for it.

Very Clean. Able to see screen fully even with wait staff moving about during movie. Food is standard American fare; moderate pricing. Food tastes good. Great sound. Seats are very comfortable. I attended in afternoon. If you want a MOVIE date night this is a definite cut above. Lovely bar in front of the house. Would definitely recommend.

Whats not to love? Beer? Yes please. Also wine, liquor, soft drinks, etc. Food? Sure, they have that. It isnt anything to rave about, but its a lot better than standard movie theater fare. Oh, and dont forget the movie? That would be nice. Put them all together, and it makes quite the enjoyable experience.

Food was totally EXCELLENT! The movie, Tenet was lousy...the plot was confusing...unnecessarily irrational and the sci-fi twist merely confounded the lack of a cohesive story line. Hated it...will NOT be buying the bluray.

Bravo to the owners, staff and customers in these times of Covid. Everyone was practicing social distancing, food and beverages served with safety measures in place, everyone was wearing masks. Thank you for a great movie experience.

The Alamo Drafthouse is 100% the best place to watch a movie in North Virginia. The theaters are large and have very comfy chairs. The theater includes food and drinks that you can order while you watch the movie, while the attendants quietly sneak around and deliver your food. The atmosphere before the movie is great, with instead of a lot of boring ads, they play relevant clips to the movie youre currently watching and other clips from older movies. Everything about the theater is great and Id definitely recommend coming here to watch a movie and grab a bite to eat.

My first time in a theatre like this. Thought it was great. Food was great as well. Have to admit that others in party did say that most have reclining chairs now. Feel like Id fall asleep if that was the case. Especially with a full stomach and a beer or two in me.

Go here instead of the Apple Blossom mall theatre if you can. Tables, so more leg room; the food and drinks are delivered, so you dont miss the movie; they actually employ enough people, so your not waiting on line forever; the online tickets do not need an employee to be printed, and they dont need to be printed, so you can cut the line entirely. They dont tell you the movie starts 30 minutes earlier than it actually does to show you adds; and Im sure theres more Im not thinking of. Yes all of these are direct comparisons to the apple Blossom mall. There are definitely other good things that both places have, but these are the things that the mall one doesnt have.

So so movie. Great Pizza!

My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Virginia. We had never been to a Alamo theater. We all enjoyed the experience. The food, shakes and adult beverages were also very good. The aisles are wide with plenty of leg room, seats are roomy. A very relaxing two hours. Ill definitely go to this theater again.

This is the best movie theatre in the Shenandoah Valley. It isnt the cheapest but its the nicest. Its clean, the staff is friendly and they show a wide variety of movies. They have a large food menu including vegan items. The prices are $-$$. They also serve adult beverages and there is a bar in the main lobby. This place is good for individuals, couples, and families.

We had a super fun time, sitting at the front bar waiting for our movie, nice bartenders, GREAT beer (it was a coffee stout brewed I. Winchester) in an AWESOME Alamo growler.The Rocky Horror Picture Show Annual Halloween show was fun. They gave us props to throw and use during the show. And other than the loud mouth drunk guy that came into our 11:45 showing when his 11:30 showing ended, we had a blast, with the props and shout-outs and singing and dancing and jokes and other fun people.The employees were great and I LOVE the setup where they serve you right at your seat! They were VERY attentive, and their food was delicious! 2 words...FRIED...PICKLES!!!

Great place for a movie (and beer/food since youre coming here). Attended a special Twin Peaks movie event, Q&A, meet & greet, and it was the best!!! Cant believe they get the events they do in Winchester!

This is the perfect place for a date night with my husband or a family date night with us & our children. Some say its expensive but my opinion we would pay the same if we went to a restaurant to eat the movie is the extra bonus. Movie, dinner, adult drinks, special drinks for the kids and comfy seats! Love this place! Its definitely one of the best places to see a movie in the area. Prices for tickets are affordable. The theater is usually very clean. Huge movie screens. Seats are very comfortable. The best part of this theater experience is that you get to eat food and drink adult beverages as you are watching the movie. Wait staff was quick and helpful every time I have visited. Prices for the food and drinks are a little bit expensive but not outrageous. Its also nice that when you purchase tickets online or at the theater that you can pick where you sit before you are actually in the theater. The only bad things about this place is it gets very busy and crowded, many times I have came here and the movie showing has been sold out.

One of my favorite places to go and watch movies! I think it’s one of the best places to go and see a movie for a reasonable price. Not to mention, you don’t have to go out to eat before or after the movie - you can just order from the menu! If you haven’t come previously gone in, I suggest you give it a try.

I love this Alamo Drafthouse! They have great events like Genreblast Film Festival and movie clubs like Psycho Cinema. Excellent menu, excellent service, comfortable seats. Everything is perfect. Pricing is reasonable. Its the only theater worth going to if you live anywhere close to Winchester and worth it to drive to see some of the limited release films.

Movie ticket prices are fair, food prices are fair, alcohol prices are fair, however, the quality of these things are what make the Alamo Drafthouse remarkable. Their stringent no disruptions during the movie policy ensures a quiet audience. The food is delicious; I have yet to have anything bad. The option to drink at a theatre is an exceptional notion. Best movie theatre in the region.

Went to see IT Chapter 2 and it was amazing. They even added new things to their menu which was a surprise. We go to the Alamo all the time its a great place to take the kids or just a great place for Me and My Husband to have a Date Night. Great food and drinks. And the sitting is very comfortable. And the servers are ALWAYS very nice and one time when you place your cards in the holders.

The only complaint I could have, if I was being nit picky, would be that the seats are a little close together to be eating the type of food you can be served. But as long as youre careful of other peoples personal space, your night will be one to remember.

Wow watching a great movie and getting food served. I loved that experience. I had the hummus platter it was real fresh and tasted great. My friends had the cheese fries and philly cheese steak. It all looked yummy!

The Alamo Drafthouse is hands down the best theater chain in the country. Great drinks, great food, and the best policies to provide a quality theater-going experience. The Winchester location is no exception to this, and have super friendly and helpful staff to boot. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Nice tap selection. Foods decent and reasonably priced. Not the best ever but better than spending 50$ on some frozen Tyson chicken tenders at a regal. the strictly enforced no phones no talking rules make this the go to place to watch movie

Very nice. A better implementation and kitchen than some others movie-tavern combos. Staff was friendly enough to explain the ropes to us before we got seated. Menus are stored every couple of seats under the table. There is also a small light so you can see the menu or the check under the table.Seats were comfortable.

Food was excellent! Try the Pizza and The chocolate chip cookies! The only thing I would change is the seats. They need to be a little larger and recline.

Great place to see a movie and order a meal while never leaving your seat. We went to the polar express special showing. They had a conductor at the entrance calling all aboard to the kids and handing out packets with a ticket and bell and other goodies like in the movie and then she came around to punch tickets. It was a great experience for the kids. We all had a good time. They even had a star wars themed menu for the upcoming Skywalker movie, I had the trash compactor pizza:)

This place is an absolutely unique experience to watch a movie. I wish there were more of these in other small towns like Winchester, but I definitely recommend it!

I had never been to a Alamo. Great service. The food was great especially refills brought to your seat. My only complaint is that...the seats. Really really bad for todays standards. I love the AMC recliners and Alamo needs to invest and upgrade.

First time hubby took me to see star wars. Movie was great...not sure I like ppl bothering me during the movie while Im eating. Too many distractions. Servers going by every second. Im short so they were always in my view.

Got the bill corrected but not even an apology was offered. Very disappointed. Will think twice before going here again.

This our go see blockbuster movie theatre. You can reserve your exact favorite seats, order dinner and then sit back in comfy seats and enjoy the film.

Pretty cool theatre with food and drinks that somehow manage to be cheaper or about the same price as popcorn and candy normally are at every other theater. Its pretty nice to get tipsy while watching new flicks, not gonna lie.

I love Alamo Drafthouse. It’s the only movie theater I go to. The place was clean and the service was good. However, I’m giving it 4 starts because of not a fan of the long table and regular theater seats. Back in Dallas Texas I go to an Alamo draft house where we have recliners and a small table for every two seats. Having a long table makes it hard to go to the restroom and isn’t very comfortable.

The movie and seating were GREAT, not too big on the menu though. Stick with the Popcorn in my opinion.

The Alamo is THE theater in town. Very nice establishment. Service is nice from the moment you walk in and need to ask yet ANOTHER question...lol. Servers are quiet and movie polite interrupting only when requested or absolutely necessary. Hubs and I enjoy it, and the kids love it.

I love the Alamo. For me, no other theater exists. It is the Alamo or nothing. However, today the food quality was odd. The spicy cauliflower was bushier than before, the fish and chips were not worth the money. The fries were a bit soggy and the fish over fried and was no more interesting or tasteful than a cheap frozen fish dinner. Very disappointing. I hope this gets corrected soon.

This place never lets me down. Service is great and the staff are always friendly. I like that they dont allow late arrivals. The bartenders remember you, and allow you to try a beer before you buy a glass. They give good recommendations if you ask too. Highly recommended theater.

There is narrow table that runs in front of the seats in each row. Great menu items served at your seat.Absolutely no talking or texting allowed and the rule is enforced. Great place to see a movie.

Best place to watch movies. Their Film Club and Psycho Cinema run many old or obscure films. The beer selection cant be beat either!

Good date night

I love Alamo. The format is great. The food is great. My favorite place to see movies. However yesterday was the first time in the years we have been going that we ran into a group that insisted on talking during the movie. We raised a note detailing what was going on and asking for help. The server came by and read it, went away, and nothing. Was a bit disappointing as this is a big selling point for the theater. It works as long as everyone respects it, but there needs to be the follow through if they dont. I hope it doesnt happen again in the future.

My preferred place to watch movies. The food and drinks are affordably priced and are served quickly. They have a strict no cell phone or talking policy which I love. They host a lot of one off movie nights for classic and cult movies.

Love this place. All you can eat popcorn. Comfortable seats. They deliver your items to you. Able to drink if over 21. Only downfall is you have to pick your seats online/ when you buy the ticket.
