I love this place. They have put on 2 live productions here now and they were both spectacular! And a great price! Its usually a movie theater though, but an art theater, so youll always have a unique experience!

Went for a RHPS screening. Was a nice place and clean. Tough to find based on address of the place so 2 minutes of wondering was necessary. Small concession stand was very nice touch. Comfy seats with cupholders in front.

This theatre is the absolute best. Their staff act like family, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. It’s in the heart of Wilmington, making it convenient to those who live there and even those taking a train from other cities. I absolutely adore this theatre. If you’re looking through this, you should absolutely consider seeing The Rocky Horror Picture show with Frankie’s Midnight Runners, every first and third Saturday. ️️

Theatre N is a project of the Wilmington Mayors Office of Cultural Affairs. The concession stand offers beer and wine. Located in the Nemours Bldg. you can use any open entrance to get to the theatre. That means on weekends, enter from 10th street. Highest priced ticket is $9 for movies and $15 for opera and ballet screenings. This is the most reliable place to see arthouse film in Northern Delaware. Also has a viewing Rocky Horror Picture Show on certain Saturday nights.

The theater is lovely and the staff here is very kind and helpful. I always love coming to shows here, and I am always greeted with smiles by the people at the desk in the lobby, the person selling tickets, and especially the concession staff!! They also have late night showings of Rocky Horror picture show on the first and third saturday each month and the cast is incredible!! Check them out if you ever get a chance!!

Love having Theatre N as our local cinema!Where else can you see films of the type they show (more art, not block buster)? in a venue so easily accessible? Thank you All who make this possible!

The perfect place to see a movie that you want to devote full attention to. No distractions, an educated crowd that can generate intelligent conversation following films. Very clean, helpful staff.A hidden gem.

What a gem in the middle of Wilmington! Was upgraded to digital. They serve beer and a few snacks. Great selection of indie movies, and they are showing more screenings these days than they used to. This would also be a great spot for a theater-format event, and they do rent it out.

Sadly the location for film is not convenient unless you live in Wilmington and still its not all that convenient a location. Its a great venue for speaking engagements. Great acoustics, not so much for lighting. Its not a well promoted spot which is also a long term problem in making Theater N a staple for drawing a crowd. For this reason it doesnt and wont have any big picture releases. Off beat movies dont fly either because we can get them at home. Last note... Snacks are almost non existent. Again, best for speakers.

Great selection of showings considering there is only one theater. I wished there were better signs to help us find it, but once we found someone to ask, we were fine. Free parking outside, wine and beer available in the theater. Limited snack selection, but that is fine by me. The staff (volunteers I believe) were very friendly and even brought fresh popcorn to us at our seat because a fresh batch was being made when we ordered.

Unpopular opinion: this place is highly overrated. Got my prepaid tickets and they have to manually check me in and it was hard to find my way out of the theater since they don’t even have signs

Very affordable ticket prices, inexpensive and tasty concessions, and very comfortable seats. I am thrilled that theres an art movie house in Wilmington. The only detraction is theyre still struggling with sound quality. Not a deal breaker, but it would be great if they could solve that problem. Will still go to Ritz in Philly, but this theater is a fine, less expensive alternative.
