A really cool old building with lots of character. The sound in front of the stage was great and there is a full bar in the back of the room. There is balcony seating with the classic bulb shaped seating areas on each side of the stage. The bathrooms were updated and clean, especially for a concert venue. All in all this was a nice place to see a concert and i would gladly go back.

Celebrated a wedding here and the way they transformed the space for both the ceremony and the reception was absolutely gorgeous. I don’t have any info about rates or anything for events but the venue is beautiful and should be considered. the staff were also super friendly to us as guests and helped everything flow well. The Queen has several venues for performers. There is a large downstairs venue and a smaller one upstairs. The upstairs venues mens toilet was out of service. The music sounded muddy and the vocals were hard to hear. The bar was poorly stocked and overpriced. I asked the bartender for the price difference between a 12 oz and 24 oz and he said good question and never told me, despite me being the only one at the bar. They had no hard ciders at all.The seating was good and I had fun, but that was mostly due to the great performers and friendly crowd.

Echos, a pink Floyd tribute band played last night at the queen music hall , this is the best tribute band to pink Floyd that I have ever heard and believe me, Ive been listening to pink Floyd all my life. And the Queen music hall is absolutely fantastic. One of the reasons its so great is because of the sound. Understand that when you walk into the place your at street level, then you have to go down stairs to get to the stadium, the whole building is old and as you know the walls were made like 2to3feet thick and down stairs where the music originates its partially underground. So the music just reverts inside the hall. Ive been going there now for a couple of yearsSo what ever band is playing there you can be sure that the sound effects are going to be awesome.but if youre planning on doing any drinking, do it before going in. Because the drinks can be pricey. But other than that its a great place to go to hear your favorite bands. It is awesome inside that hall you wont regret it!!!

Ive always loved this place, ever since Hal Real decided to turn a long-dark and decrepit former movie theater into the second World Cafe Live.I was sad to see the venue switch to become a Live Nation venue, mainly because of the parellel switch in programming to so many tribute bands, and an increase in food and drink prices. However, I went to see Brian Newman in the upstairs space last week, and it was perfect. The space is small and intimate, and worked perfectly for Brian and his incredible band. I hope that we get to see more of this innovative programming in 2020!

Went for the Gasolina party and it was a great time! My friend and I got free tickets and the venue was cool and really spacious. Really love the Queen portraits featured throughout. Drinks are mid-priced and good. Love the staff, and the music selection was perfect (but the DJs mix wasnt that great, which did make things less enjoyable). Overall though, I would definitely go back!

The Queen is great for small concert. I could see the stage no matter were I stood. Parking was great on and off the street. The staff were polite. The venue had several exits, so no issue getting out after the show. The drinks were alittle high but other than that I had great time. I would come again.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Last Friday my friends and I attended an event at the Queen where we were harassed for half of the show by drunks who thought it was funny to yell at us, kick our chairs, and pour drinks on our coats and chairs. When we made the staff aware of what was happening they did nothing and the bar kept serving them alcohol when they were beyond the point of intoxication. They were so drunk they continuously spilled their drinks on the floor while falling all over the place. I’ve loved this venue in the past but I don’t recommend them if they can’t handle belligerent drunks at events while serving alcohol. Just sad to feel like a venue didn’t care enough to intervene when I’m sure if we would have took matters into our own hands, we would have been to blame.

Attended the Drag Diva Brunch on 1/13, it was a gift and I didnt know what to expect. Wow, it was a great show. The venue for this is a smaller room with stage, holding about 50 people around tables. The Divas move all around the audience and interact with everyone. The brunch menu was great, like chicken & waffles and a French Toast Hamburger. I think they were down a server because service was slow for drinks and food. It didnt detract from the show so 5 stars!!

I saw a concert with 3 bands. The sound was great for all of the bands. The floor area can hold approximately 250-300 people if crowded. There is seating at the upper level but I didnt make it up there so no comment as to the number or quality of the seats. Theres a large, walk up bar at the back of the floor area that was staffed with 3 bartenders. There was a nice selection of beers, about 20 different brews, ranging from Miller Lite to unique IPAs. The style of the room is a purposefully aged and distressed old theater with life-sized paintings of famous singers adorning the walls, chandeliers, and ceiling-high curtains. Very cool venue! Catch a show if you can!

Review №63

The Queen is a beautiful historic theater and the bands that play there are usually fairly good, if not amazing. Problem with the venue is some of their policies are outdated or not really in sync with the people that attend their shows. For example, we live in a free country. Let people leave and come back in. At the very least, let them leave during intermission and come back in. Not allowing people reentry is just terrible business practice. Also, the bar is serving expensive drinks, however, they provide you with no straws of any kind or napkins. When did that start? Thats terrible! Youre paying top prices for a drink and you dont even get a straw to use? The drink I happen to consume almost requires me to have a straw because I cant drink it without one. Some of these things need to be fixed. I dont think Ill be back because of it. Too annoying and I could do without the feeling of deprivation at the bar!

What a night!! Oh my it was so much fun, the staff was insanely nice and helpful. The drinks were good, food not so much but I didnt go there to eat so it wont effect my rating. The smaller size of the venue actually makes the event more fun, opposite of what I was thinking when we got inside and noticed how small it was. We managed to get right up in front of the stage, front row, for the same ticket prices! I will definitely be going back!

Great facility but I gotta say the bar food I got was the absolute worst $40 Ive ever spent. Cold sloppy margarita flatbread pizza I could not choke down, burnt charcoal tasting crunchy sliders and some surprisingly decent parmesan truffle fries... plus an $11 Miller light. Nope, nope, not likely to revisit this establishment. Too cool to show the customers some respect by putting a tiny bit of care into the food.
