Put the kayak in for the first time. Good launch point paved up to the water but there was a huge chuck of asphalt missing on the ramp had to not back up so far in the truck to unload.Once in the water this lake is great saw to small gators and lots of birds larger birds very peaceful and a couple other people out talked with them all and all a very nice experience will be there on a regular basis.

Really a beautiful venue, right on the water. Not too big, but even sold out it didnt feel crowded. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the view gorgeous, and the music sounded great. Very relaxing. One of my favorite locations for sure. It has built in seats but still room by the stage to stand or even out in the grass by the lake? I think its a lake. Parking was kind of weird, a lot of us parked on the street but apparently theres a lot a block or so down. It was a great time, anyway.

Blue October came to Wilmington!!!!This venue is great. It’s small and personable so everyone is next to the stage. There are installed seats in rows and they aren’t uncomfortable; but dependent on the show everyone could be standing up anyway. The only concern was the dang N.C. bugs trying to enjoy the show as well.

Nice open air amphitheater with close seats for those who prefer to sit and nearly on top of the stage for those who like that up close experience. Snack bar has limited has limited food choices, but food trucks offer more options. Decent selection of draft beers, limited cans. Had spiked seltzers which was a plus. Note it is cash only.

We saw Dawes there Aug 8, 2019. It was great and we got there early to get a seat close enough to the stage for my boyfriends daughter to be able to see. Concessions were responsible. We are looking for more events to go back!

Awesome intimate venue right on the lake. Smaller size with a capacity of not much more than 1000 people. Makes the shows a little more special.

Went to meet Switchfoot here. Lovely and fun environment! Every area is well maintained! Great choice for events like this one!

Very cool venue. I love this place. Parking is a pain, but thats to be expected for a place thats basically located in a neighborhood area. The only drawback is the mosquitoes. OMG, theyre horrible as soon as the sun begins to set. So, make sure you bring some mosquito repellent and lather up before and during a concert. Anyway, its a beautiful location for some great music. Theres also seating (No assigned seats, which is great) and an area in front of the stage for those who want to stand. I really do like this venue a lot. Also, it seems as if the people who attend the concerts are very cool and its easy to make friends with perfect strangers. On top of that, the people who work here for the shows are very nice and helpful.

Paws on parade was a great event held at Greenfield. It was clean and beautiful, the flowers were just starting to bloom too. I always suggest that places remember to be handicap accessible, such as gates that could be used for someone in a wheelchair instead of routes used by persons who are able bodied, it causes a lot less stress for those using assistive devices. It is a great place for families!

Went to see the Struts last night with Des Rocs, AMAZING! My first time at this outdoor venue, beautiful location btw. Not a bad seat in the house, very intimate, private, in-your-face, feel the sound experience! Loved it! The only downside was that there was smoking, which I loath. Thankfully it dissipated quickly. The female bathroom was very clean, always a plus. Nice and friendly attendants. They check your bags, no outside food or drinks allowed. (FYI on the parking; we got there early to find a parking spot. It was a sold out show, so there were cars just everywhere and anywhere, not really a designated parking lot.) I enjoyed the fact that there is a noise ordinance law on the weekdays, the venue has to close by 9pm. (Drove from Raleigh, got home at 11.) Show started at 5:45pm, 45 min for Des Rocs and 1.5hr for the Struts. Sad it had to end. :(PS: Thank you Mother Nature for the perfect weather! I highly recommend this venue!!

Best place to catch live music. Beers are reasonably priced but I would recommend bringing cash with you as this place does not accept credit cards. There is an ATM inside but there is a $3.00 charge. Limited food options but seating is first come first serve. Great vibes during night shows if the talent is right !

Attended 2 shows at this venue so far & have thoroughly enjoyed both. Ticket prices have been fair and refreshment & beer prices inside aren’t bad either. I love that the tickets are all general admission, makes for less seating controversy. The wide variety of artists that are booked cater to the likes of all sorts of viewers with diverse tastes. The restrooms have been clean, and the grounds well kept. Being on the lake is beautiful but it’s location in a residential area is my only complaint. Week night curfew is 9pm and weekend curfew is 10pm .. this is rather early for an outside music venue but this is due to city code, not the wishes of the amphitheater or their guests. We went last night to see Common & it was amazing! We will be back soon !

Greenfield Lake Amphitheater is a great place to see a band. This is a small venue and there are no bad seats. The backdrop is gorgeous with Spanish moss, trees, and the lake, and all of the wildlife that goes along with that. The mosquitos were not bad at all in May. The sound was awesome and the Struts were very entertaining. Beer, soda, and snacks were available for purchase at a reasonable price. Great experience!

After living here for 11 years, I Finally went to a show at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater- And it was Totally worth the wait! Overall-great seating (really no bad views of the stage). The venue has the feel of one twice the size but is really comfortable. The views around are amazing as well- we got to see a beautiful sunset. The parking could be a bit better, but its not a far walk no matter where you end up. They offer snacks and beverages (adult and regular) for sale at better-than-most-venue prices. The band SOJA was simply outstanding! Basically, you get a lot of bang for your buck when you attend an event here (they have a great lineup scheduled this summer-cant wait to see Fitz and the Tantrums). Treat yourself and have a blast!

Great venue, comfortable seats, over the top decibel levels. Weve been to two concerts now and left both early literally with ear aches. Ridiculously loud. We probably wont trust that any other concert wont also have the speakers cranked to painful levels [Gin Blossoms were at 97 plus according to the phone app].

I love Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre (GLA) its a great smaller venue set around a beautiful Cypress tree lake. My only real complaint about the venue is that it is a smaller venue. Sometimes the acts that come sell out way to early and would obviously do better in a bigger venue. Some artist pass on the venue due to the size as well. Hopefully the new venue downtown will solve this problem and keep Greenfield Lake for more intimate shows...
