We have always enjoyed the pool, hot tub, climbing wall and the showers. Nice and clean!! The staff there are very friendly and helpful.

Residents in Westminster are so lucky to have these wonderful facilities with sport activities that reflect the diverse community in the city. Additionally, the site is beautiful and panoramic. It appears the center is hosting various activities too. Very nice!

Great place for free fun. So many things to do here and so much room to do it all. When it snows well enough you’ll see a lot of families sledding down the big hill. Snowboarders are welcome too.

We did some laps around the main grounds and stairs. It was great. They keep it very clean. The grounds crew does an excellent job maintaining the area as well.

This is definitely a nice indoor pool and recreation center. There are larger pools in the area but being one of the cheapest and deepest pools around makes it nice. Theres a rope swing and a small slide. The apex recreation center is bigger and has far more services for a very similar price. I would go to either one depending on the day and what I want to do.

Its great. Except for the overuse of chemicals in the pool which I guess is needed because they are extremely overcrowded. . Created a rash on me and and made my kid cough a bit.my sons lungs were really hurt from it. Love the place tho so thats a bummer.

Its one of best. I been to like 5 that are alright but this one beats them all. They have a sauna, steam room , hot tub, rope swing an rock wall in the pool thats 9ft deep. Medium pool an a baby pool.THE ONLY THING THAT I DONT LIKE IS THAT THEY DONT CLEAN VERY WELL. THE WIDOW SEAL IN SIDE THE STEAM ROOM HAS SOME TYPE OF BROWN MOLD

Great pool for kids. Kids allowed in hot tub. Good for me , maybe not so great for others. Lazy river. Warm ish water .

When I was a teen one of my favorite places to go between the racquetball the basketball the swimming the rope swing swimming The Lazy River the steam room the exercise pool the rock climb the hot tub who couldnt have a great time there in a bathing suit now the staff inside is a little questionable Im not sure if I want my life saved by tweens or if they could even lift my body out of the water if I was drowning but hey you got to start somewhere right its not my fault that the city hires there lifeguards straight out of Junior High but heres hoping that if the situation called for it they might be effective good luck little tiny lifeguards good luck

Hi I have a question I wanted to know if the pool is open?

The building is nicely kept, and it’s so big and open. The pools are clean, and the people are nice and friendly. It does get super busy especially when school is out and in summer but during winter and mornings it’s usually very quiet.

Nice park, getting ready for a Labor day event. I wish they would turn the lights back on at the big staircase. Dangerous to climb stairs after about 20:00hrs because it gets too dark. Playground gets a lot of use. Nice sidewalks for walking/running.

I love this rec center because it’s so close to my house and it’s only 5 dollars to get in then you can swim play basketball or whatever and I go here when I am bored sad, mad, or just wanna hang out with my friends. I recommend this for all of you

I am going to have give this one star rating because of the chlorine content of the water especially the hot tub. While sitting in the hot tub you can’t even keep your eyes open because it burns them so bad. It also burns your nose and sinuses I can actually keep smelling the chlorine smell long after I come home. I think this needs to looked into I understand it has to be used but I think the levels are to high.

Its a great community pool for parents of toddlers and young children!

I WILL GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS ONLY BC ITS ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT PLACE TO GO.ALTHOUGH I THINK THE OLD DESIGN OF THE 9ft POOL WAS WAY MUCH CREATIVE AND MODERN. IT TRULY HELD THE REPUTATION OF THIS PLACE DURING THOSE YEARS. THANK GOOD FOR THE ROPE NOT BEING REMOVED. THE WINDOWS WERE JUST AWESOME, THE SLIDE AND ONLY IF THE ROCK CLIMBING WAS THERE BEFORE!IT WAS CHEAPLY RENOVATED! POOR TAX USE LOL! THE KID POOL SEEMS TO ALWAYS BEEN PRETTY COOL! HAS BEEN VERY CREATIVE.

Small, but the deep rope swing is cool.

They have a real deal sauna here. Something you can relax, recover, even cut weight in if need be. They even have a good steam room, really hot, no puddles, no odor. Hot tub is on the stronger side of pressure. The pool is not too bad great for kids and adults. Or even grown kids that still enjoy a good pool swing. I havent tried the weight lifting gym part yet. The really nice counter girl said they have two weight lifting areas and you can go to either with standard entrance fee.

Love going to the hot tub. But the chlorine or whatever chemicals they put in it is very strong. My kids love the new play area they put in the kids pool.

We went on sun. Evening and it was pretty calm and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, and patient. We had a good time, it wasnt crowded. I personally did some swimming with my son, used the steam room, and used the treadmill. One thing I noticed was at the end of the night they were using soap and scrubbing the floors around the pool which is awesome! good job team!

Great place to go play basketball, racquetball, swim, exercise and much more... They also have a very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended by me for physical activities of all kinds. Its also just so much fun for kids and adults alike. Tons of great ways to stay in shape all while meeting new people and just having fun for people of all ages.

This place used to be fun to come to to swim, but lately, there have been some utterly ridiculous rules instated. I.e, today, there werent too many people wanting to swim in the deep pool, but for some reason it was closed for about an hour (between 12-1 pm) then when they opened up, they would only let one person be in the deep pool at a time! That is freaking ridiculous! How much safety room do you think kids need? Then, before I knew about thisrule one of the lifeguards was very aggressive about getting me out of the pool. This needs to stop, my membership expires in a few weeks, and I will not renew it. Not coming here again.

Loved to bring my children here for fun, Pools, Sauna, Steam, Hot Tub and more for whole family. They used to have a gentlemen walk around disinfect and clean their changing rooms and lockers, have not see him anymore, now changing rooms have really bad smell, trash and hairs on floor, in the sink... We came here twice or more a week but avoid since then.

Been going to this place since I was a little kid. And now I still take my daughter there for the public pool. I believe its the best one in Colorado and I am willing to drive an hour to go to this one instead of the other locations that are more nearby.

Always easy parking. Would like to have most of the staff as personal friends; they are superb: friendly, attentive, always courteous and helpful. Good weightroom, although most of it is machines; not a bad gig, but in two months, the machines no longer challenge me. Bikes, treadmills and machines are good for conditioning, though. Very much a family atmosphere. Kids welcome. Pool, hot tub and sauna had a recent overhaul, so will probably have little interruption in operation. Will definately return. Monthly rate: 23.00 for adult membership.

We love this place! The swimming pool area is great for kids and adults. Warm water, fun things to do like slides and a hot tub!

The facilities are actually pretty nice. The fat-boned red headed lady working in the basement was an absolute bich though and needs to lose the attitude. I watched her talk down to multiple people who were just trying to figure out they’re process and who has to pay. If she’s a COWestminster employee then It’s time for a performance plan. I gave two stars instead of one star because the lady working with “old red” seemed real nice and was obviously new and learning herself.

Zero entry pool is great size and perfect warm temperature. I have skinny kids who start shaking within minutes at most pools but we were literally here for hours without a tremble.

It was quite crowded. The bigger pool was really cold and the baby area seemed to have alot of adults just sitting in it because it was warmer. It was fairly priced as a resident.

Its fun, my brothers and I love hanging out there. But it doesnt give much for teens to do, Im mean ya theres not a lot of teens who play at a park, but there should still be maybe like a splash pad or something. Some people cant go to the REC Center

I live in Denver and drive to this pool all the time because its worth it. Its great for my kids and has a swinging rope thats pretty fun.The hot tub is HUGE compared to other pools, and the jets are fairly strong so it can work out my back muscles. The staff is friendly and nice and its very affordable. Locker rooms are big and comfortable to. Over all its the best rec center I have found.

Lap pool, lazy river, bucket dump in kids’ pool is very fun! Nice steam room, saunas and jacuzzi. Locker room is very nice, divided into different areas, so not just one large room. We used The pool area only, but the basketball court and workout rooms also looked great! Nice modern facility.

Awesome place to work out. Offers a great variety of fitness classes, personal training, massage and a nice gym with plenty of equipment. Front desk staff is super nice, locker room and showers clean and spacious.

Our family loves CP Rec center. Our kids are enrolled in swim class, sports, dance and camp. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Our only somewhat negative experience has been with the swim lessons. I am not convinced that the instructor hold a true certification/training and they have not communicated well with us, that said my kid has fun and the price point is very friendly. Family memberships here are great value and the facility is well equipped and clean.

Almost no room for lap swim the aquatics is more theme park then fitness.

Our family always has an awesome time at the pool here. The recent redo of the kids area is great, and we frequently let the kids go there Friday night for Kids Night Out.

I love the rec center. The massage therapy is very reasonable. I always get fantastic service.

Pool activities are so fun and there is never a lot of people so that makes it better for sure. Only thing is it took them 3 to 4 hours to open the amenities we came for after asking several times they finally opened it up. Granted it was because of something the lifeguards did not have control over but still frustrating.

Cathy was so nice and helpful. Great place to go. The gym lockers, & gym floor was just renovated last week. Nice facility.

Great pool area. Which include a sauna, steam room, hot tub, deep end pools, kiddie pools and a lazy river. We continue to come here and pay more because anything in commerce city where we currently reside and pay enormous taxes doesn’t compare. Thanks Westminster!

Fireworks were awesome especially the finale.

I have five kids and we love the pool. I taught my oldest to swim in the lakes jumping off boats. My youngest three however I cant teach at the pool. They can swim but going off the rope can be disorienting to even adults. So I was there to help assist them. Most the guards this was not an issue. But on two different occasions there is always one that says no.

Ive been going to the great City Park Recreation Center now for a few weeks. I love the pool area and fitness facilities. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. I can recommend it to anyone who is interested in not only staying fit, but also wants to make use of their provided meeting rooms and organized community events and classes.

Love this place so much

Worst Rec-Center in the area. If you enjoy basketball DO NOT bother here. They always have all of their courts blocked by elderly playing pickle ball. I bought a year-long pass to play basketball and told them this but no one bothered to tell me that 4 days a week the courts are unusable, extremely displeased with the service here. Hopefully this place will close soon.
