At first was nervous sitting by myself, but ordered a beer from the beautiful waitress and began to settle in and notice the darkish, cozy atmosphere.In particular, Elaina made it a day Ill never forget. A surprising blend of sexy, charming, and intelligent conversation. Legitimately one of the most beautiful women Ive seen...very sexy, seductive dancing blended with charming wit in conversation afterwards.Thanks for the great experience. I did not enjoy myself tonight. My waitress was extremely rude from the time my friends and I walked in. It was my friends birthday who doesn’t really drink and we were trying to order a drink she would like. Immediately the waitress said “guys all the drinks are expensive”, and started to act like we couldn’t afford the drinks. Even the people at the table beside us saw how bad she was treating us. I felt discriminated against and I will never go back. She had such a bad attitude like we were disgusting people or something. Smh it’s so sad that we have to work so hard and still be mistreated because of someone else’s view of us.

To go straight to the point ,went there with a friend. We got invited in by the doorman, no cover charges to come in. Also the rule is no photo/no touching.Once in,we were led to a table, passed by a small stage where 2 girls were dancing sensually on the metal pole. They had great bodies to keep it short...A nice lady took our orders, 1 orange juice ,1 corona. We watched the show from our table, I was surprised by the amount of female customers well its 2019 soo .Some of the dancers after their performance said thanks as if we tipped them?! maybe they appreciated the attention? Overall it was interesting...

Experience was by far average, drinks are expensive and waitresses seem far too rude to be working in a club. I came in with some friends to celebrate a birthday, and after being sat down was greeted by a lady sitting down talking to another gentleman(which is not a problem). The problem came when we tried to order more drinks, or get her attention for anything we needed. she was standofish, rude, and looked completely annoyed for anything we needed of her. The show girls were nice and did their jobs fantastically, drinks are expensive(as expected), and ambiance is nice. The waitress just ruined the whole experience. how can you be the ugliest woman in the building and be the rudest at the sametime?

Walked into this club there were alot of couples which made my girlfriend feel comfortable. As soon as we walked in there was a girl complaining about a guy tipping her while she was dancing I guess she didnt understand what she was working there for .Very crowded and small stage when you would go up to tip the bouncer was always walking by making you feel uncomfortable girls cant touch you and you cant touch themNo lap dances or VIP drinks are super high 11 or 13 dollars for a beer all thoe there is no cover charge. First time at this club and will not be the last. Classy, clean and friendly. Ladies were beautiful and fun to be with. The best experience was the drop dead gorgeous cocktail waitress, Cindy. She treated me with 5 star service. She works hard all night, very intelligent, easy to talk with and smoking hot.

Wife and myself were visiting from out of state, and visited the establishment on a Saturday night. I want to say what a great time we had! From the doorman to all of the people inside who ushered us upstairs. We were treated like very important people and my wife loved it. I want to thank the staff and the beautiful dancers for a great night we will never forget!

Just came back to my hotel now after a visit to this place. I spend 90 minutes of my life in this strip club but returning disappointment now. Reason very bad and discriminatory kind of attitude. It was my first stepping into a strip club in DC and I hit the bar directly to gauge the atmosphere. The bartender was awesome. I kept the tap open and went near the stage. Strangely, only time the girls approached me is to ask for tips after their dance. Other girls do not even have the slightest courtesy to even say a “hi”. Maybe I am very bad looking and bear a tropical skin color which is not white. I do not care about it and at the same time I was tipping the dancers @ $5-10 per dances. Then came the server and when she learned that I have kept open the tap in the bar she was nasty and rude. This was the tipping point. She told me that - this is my bar and I will not serve you because the tap is open. Get out of my bar. . Well I understand the open tap part but not her attitude. She could simply have told me.Alright, later I closed the tap and returned back to the table and I was grossly ignored. WTF. She was serving all around me. And here I was waiting for the server to take my order, lol.. she came and took the order from my table buddy with whom I was sharing a table but not me .. I walked out exactly after 90 minutes with $400 worth of singles ..>>>> Not sure how to reply. So adding it here

She will F you over with the dancers like tell them the boss wants to see them, or your a bad tipper if you dont give her outrages tips.Cheaper to fly to vegas. $5 beer, and you get a lapdance.

Last night Saturday night was my first night at your place. I have to say yeah it felt small, but the atmosphere was amazing! I had a great time! The food and drinks are reasonably priced! Loved going there. Will be sure coming back again! Service was excellent.

So our waitress was by FAR THE WORST waitress I have ever had. We didnt tip because she didnt pay a second of attention to us while giggling and flirting with the gentleman next to us. She was only worried about the single men. I am a woman, and I came with one other woman and two men. When she finally got us our check, she put it all on one and made me work out who had to pay what and how much. She did not split our check, I had to work out all the math myself. When she came over, and saw we didnt tip, she literally cussed me out. F bomb, telling me Im insecure about myself and thats why I didnt tip. Telling me we sat at a bottle service seat, even though we didnt seat ourselves. I get that its insulting when someone doesnt tip you. I know they only work for tips. But when you act standoffish and rude from the get go, you didnt earn a tip. From anyone in my party. And then she proved why she didnt earn it by showing her full rudeness. I will never ever go back there. I sincerely hope she gets fired.UPDATEMy boyfriends card got charged $200 over when his bill was less than $30. Pathetic. Other reviews have stated that this was done to them as well. Thats fraud.

The place was small and I dont like people being racist and the server never checked our table whether we need more drinks. Everytime we have to call her to order for drinks but I like her tho she was beautiful but I dont like the way they treated us. We were here for the first time today. We legt the place after 1 Hour because of no atmosphere. Honestly we dont understand why its the best in DC!- the girls dont feel the music (no Performance)- the waitress isnt realy interested- the TV shows NEWS or sports (How should we get in the mood????)- Corona for 11 $Save your money! Bored girls and NEWS you can Watch elsewhere cheaper.

First time I went was over 35 years ago, when I was 17, guess they didnt card back then. Camelot is classic Washington DC staple. Dancers have a routine and by the 3rd song they are fully bare. Some are perfect 10s, some are 5s. You have to go with the right attitude. Smile at the door, shake hands with the bouncer, dress nicely, tip generously, dont worry about the cost of water or beer, order some chicken strips or hummus and pita, and enjoy yourself. Be nice, friendly, and respectful to the dancers as they work just as hard as the rest of us to earn a living. Invite them to sit down and chat, buy them a drink, tip them for chatting with you. Come back once or twice a year and repeat.

Great atmosphere food and drinks are fairly priced. They dont let intoxicated people inside to miminimi any incidents. Great place to kick it.

A Great Time, Everytime!

DON’T waste your time. For instance, I was charged $20.90 for one Long Island iced tea with too much ice. At the moment I questioned the bartender’s integrity and whether or not they were being truthful. Turns out THE BARTENDER LIED, b/c not even the classiest gentlemen’s club in Vegas would charge $20.90 for a measly Long Island that was watered down with A LOT of ice and cheap alcohol. The women there are cheap and don’t pay you no mind. When I ordered a different drink the bartender forgot and I had to remind the bartender abt my drink; 20 minutes later, still no drink, so I left. Not like it was busy (evident by the no cover charge), and the bouncer outside practically begging get folks to come in.( I only picked 1 star to be able to share my experience, otherwise, Camelot would’ve gotten 0 stars.)

I have been a loyal customer of Camelot since 2007. It is the only club in dc that has such beautiful girls and is still a full nude bar. The main thing i like about this club, like other people said, its not a rip off. You could spend under $20 for over 2 hours of simply hanging out there watching the lovely ladies dance. Plus, the club is very neat. Only sophisticated folks visit it.

It is a rip-off. I ordered a drink for one girl. They charged me water for $9. I did not see the girl with water. She insisted she did. My goodness. Water for $9? Come on.

Never been to a no cover charge strip club in DC. Loved the experience both times I went. I just went Monday night for my birthday on Halloween... It wasnt packed. Got a free drink, fell in love with one of the girls, and had a great time! I wasnt expecting 5 star service in a strip club but our waitress was fine. The music was good, not too hip-hop, not too Pop, but just right. The staff is SUPER nice even the last time I went the bartender gave me a cinnamon toast crunch shot to try and they played FAVORITE song, Twerk by Juicy J and Project Pat! I love this place brought my gay guy friend with me and he tipped the girls all night! Well definitely be back!!

I have to admit that I was disappointed that D.C. clubs dont allow lap dances, BUT, that aside, I have to say that this was the most fun I have had in a long time! The dancers were EXTREMELY beautiful. 10s, exotic...everything from girl next door to bikini models. I decided to sit at the bar with Leanna who was not only super hot (she dances too), but also really fun. Its kind of like the Cheers of strip clubs. Appear to be lots of regulars who know the girls well. Ill be back!

Overall, when you weigh in service, quality of talents, location, and ambiance, this is THE BEST gentlemans club in Washington DC. This family has been around and running the business for over 30 years and having been to all the clubs from NYC to Florida on the east coast, theyre as good, if not better, than anyone. Nick and George are two classy guys who know how to run this place right and make everyone feel at home and happy. Honestly, 5 stars!

As a long time single man whos traveled the world Ive stopped in gentlemens clubs in many different countries. I honestly have never been treated more like a Gentleman than when Im at Camelot.There is no such thing as perfect anywhere but consistently 85% of the girls are really good looking and friendly. The bouncers dont act like bouncers in a threatening sense rather fellow gentlemen there to help everyone have a good time. This stems from a management culture that shows appreciation for customers rather than treating them as potential threats.I have never been in a Gentlemans club that treats you more like a Gentleman than Camelot

What a broom closet. There’s one stage, and it’s located right in the middle of the long hallway of an establishment. So basically, if you’re sitting near the door or the bar, you can’t really see anything. Why do they have chairs facing away from the stage? The only stiff thing you’d be getting is a stiff neck from turing your head all the way. You’re lucky if you get any interaction unless you know one of the girls or you’re a fat old rich white/persian guy. I don’t know what I had to do to get attention from someone. I even put a stack of money on my table.Bouncers were the only ones there who seemed to care about the customers. The handshakes made me feel welcome, good on ya fellas.Honestly, it’s not worth your time.Although it’s full nude and the girls are hot, there’s no lap dances due to DC law. If the girls actually sat and talked to us, I would have spent more money. It’s not fun.You might as well go to the Papermoon in Virginia; the girls there make sure everyone is taken care of.Waste of time and money. I’m not just saying this because I’ve been spoiled by Las Vegas clubs, it’s just common knowledge. Go to Headlights and stay away from DC clubs.Owner, if you’re reading this, I’ll leave you with this: I’m not paying $70 on drinks to get ignored by women. I can go to a regular bar to do that.

Its been nearly a year since I made it in the Camelot, just cant forget Alexis, Amanda,Natasha,Bella,and especially Kina. Amazing difference from the more normal club. Make sure you buy a dinner for your favorite Lady,and friends. The atmosphere is perfect,relaxing!!

Camelot is the best gentlemans club in DC. I have been visiting since the late 1980s and since then, it generally maintains a high quality of servers, entertainers, bartenders, security, and managers. Currently, I am acquainted with several servers, entertainers, and managers. They provide me with very positive experiences at the club for my friends and I each time. I enjoy my conversations with the servers and entertainers when they have time to chat.Regarding several negative comments Ive read, keep in mind that DC has its laws about these establishments. In addition, although this is not a large club the size of those that are in Las Vegas or other major cities, I find it has its own unique character and intimacy.Note that the place as of May 2015 has undergone some renovations and is still in that process. I find the improvements so far are very good. I look forward to my next visit and I highly recommend it.

I have been to strip clubs all around the world. I have never been to a strip club with no cover charge before. Gotta wonder how much money this club is losing by not charging for cover. Im not complaining though.If you have never been to DC before everything including this club is very small and usually rectangular with several floors staked out top of each other to make up for the lack of space. Camelot is no different. Very small and rectangular. There was an upstairs but there wasnt very many people in there on a Sunday night in early December.The place was so small there wasnt any real room for a DJ. There was a jukebox on the wall that served as the DJ. It was loaded with plenty of songs old and new and the best part is that customers could be a DJ by buying songs. Another first for a strip club is that I could have sworn I saw a stripper pay for her own songs in the jukebox for her stage set!! Strippers in DC seem to have very bad taste in music. The songs the strippers chose were just not good for pole dancing at all. I was more than happy to play DJ with several of my own selections. The other patrons seemed to LOVE my choices. Im from the south so Im sure Camelot Showbar had never heard of some of those songs before.The club seems to cater more to older white gentlemen from capital hill for the most part. The guy sitting next to us was at least 70 years old and a widower. We know because he made it abundantly clear by letting everyone know. Bouncers wear shirt and ties and act more like store managers. As I said before the club is small. So small in fact that the stage the strippers dance on can only accommodate one girl comfortably. Two girls and its crowded up there.The girls on the other hand were beautiful but had NO IDEA how to dance in a strip club. They just kinda swayed back and forth to the music like trees in the wind. ANOTHER first is that after each girl got offstage they wandered around the club greeting customers while CARRYING THEIR PURSES!! What?? They dont have a locker room? Guess there is not enough room. And greet customers is ALL they do. No table dances. I went with my wife and we were dying for some female company. The girls greeted everyone but us!! Guess they were too scared because she was sitting with me. We never have this problem in other strip clubs. The girls would look and smile but NEVER approach us. Guess its a DC thing. All in all we had a decent time. Not a lot of options in DC so this had to do. Nice girls, small place, not very lively but hey....no cover charge.

Visiting from Austin. Needless to say, we have pretty high standards as far as strippers go down here in Texas! There is apparently a no lap dance law in DC, but thats probably a good thing because I would have left broke. These girls are stunning. Our waitress, Ginger, was hilarious...she kept our rowdy crew in line with a smile.

I love this place. They are the hottest girls in DC area. They are not expensive or a rip off as others are mentioning. You can spend two hours there and spend no more than $20 including the drink. I love the place and I go there twice a week, every week.

If you’ve been to any other club outside of Dc, then you will know that this place is garbage. Girls are garbage, scene is lame, and the club is way to strict for its product. Enter at your own risk, your money is not worth the experience.

This place was awful. My fiancé and I got up to tip one of the entertainers and the bouncer asked if we were leaving. When I said “no, were just tipping then sitting back down” he looked peeved. A little while later I was up tipping another entertainer and complimenting her on her cute shoes when another bouncer scolded me for being too touchy. All I did was put the dollar in the entertainers garter belt. I never grabbed, grouped, fondled or tried to touch her otherwise. About 10 mins after that, our check arrived. Neither of us asked to cash out. As soon as I signed the tab two police officers walked up to my fiancé, demanded he stand up and come with them. He stood up, as asked, and when he asked “what is this about” he got no response except for him to “turn around and place your hands behind you”. He was promptly placed in hand cuffs and escourted out of the club. The officers said they were called because we were asked to leave and we refused to. The truth is no one asked us to leave. Ever. Not even once. If we were so uncooperative why did we pay the check? The truth is they did not want a woman in the Club and we were not spending enough money by the clubs standard and the club wanted to give away our seats to someone else. So they sent us our check and called the police to have us removed. It was completely unnecessary to embarrass both of us. This place is shady.

Came here with a friend per the recommendation of a bartender at Sauf Haus who said she goes all the time. I figured if a lady likes the place, its probably up to par. Our waitress K.C. (Casey?) was very warm, sweet - made time to talk to us even though she was busy. Also a knockout. All of the women were beautiful though. We shall return!

I do not review things, this is maybe my 3rd review, the other two being on Amazon maybe 8 years ago. I have never review a restaurant or club.As others have noted, it is basically a wide hallway with tables on the left and on the right. There is one 6X6 stage in the middle; lap dances are illegal in DC. It looks like a fancy restaurant. There is really no club area, there is a 10 foot bar at the end of the hallway, next to the bathrooms and kitchen.I stopped by yesterday having done everything else I wanted to do in DC and being hungry. The girls were amazingly beautiful, much better looking than I would have guessed, all of them have playboy bodies.I ordered a hamburger. It was made with rotten meat. I was a cook at a bar in a small town for 8 years. I am very familiar with the various levels of spoiled meat. When it gets a little grey, or losses its pink color, it is still somewhat edible. This was beyond that. Also, FYI, I am not a prissy eater. I will eat french fries or a cinnamon roll that has been sitting out for days. I will drink water that has been sitting uncovered and unrefrigerated for a week. No biggie. If your meat is bad, you should instruct your cook to be honest with you, and tell the customer that you are out of ground beef, ask them if they would they like to substitute it with a chicken sandwich or like item.This meat was green. It was the most spoiled meat that I have ever put in my mouth. Rancid. So heres to you manager, your one star rating for that spurt of sour liquid squirting out into my mouth when I took that bite of meat. Dripping out from the patty, getting rancid juice all over my mouth under my tongue. After resisting the urge to vomit and coughing a lot, I left in a hurry and walked next door to a different restaurant and at an acceptable meal.

This bar is awful with the worst service you will ever experience!! The bouncer is a big guy who just chooses who he wants in and just uses his size to try and scare people that are willing to spend big money... Hire people that know what they are doing!! Not people who just act tough and want to own a bar

We had plans to visit this particular strip club for a bachelor party with 12 guys last night. After the bouncer checked 3 of 12 IDs, he gets a call on his earpiece to push us to the side, makes us wait, and after 15 minutes of us standing in line, he denies us entry. No reasoning, no explanation, and no boobies in the face for my friends bachelor party! I would recommend calling ahead if you are going down to DC with a group of guys, so hopefully my fellow googlers wont be disappointed as we were. Stay thirsty friends

The ambience is simply awesome, the girls are dammm hot of course not all , the drink prices are high compared to other clubs in the town but Camelot gives u a very rich and lavish feel, the bad part is that you cannot touch the girls and each and every girl comes to you and ask for Dollars, there should be lap dances in the Camelot along with touching should be allowed, else its sheer waste of money because I spent close to 80 dollars which included drinks+ bought drinks for girls( couple of them) and gave close to 40 one dollars to the girls who used to dance on the stage, the experience was nice but 80 dollars for just watching girls is way to expensive

Its a very boring club, there is only one tiny dancing stage and u have to sit on a table far away from stage. Waitress were not helpful at all, we sat there and request for a dinning menu for 15min and no body gets back to us, very bad service.

My first strip club experience so this may not be a reliable review. It was a very pleasant time for me from right through entering. Bouncers was nice, smiled as he invited me in. Found a good spot that looks straight to the dance floor. Although it is a small club so you will moat likely to have a good spot from anywhere in room. Dancers know what they do. After the show they do come next to you for tips but thwy do not ask for it. They simly thank you for watching them and leaving even though you do not tip them. Waitresses are extremely friendly. One sit and talked with me even thoigh I only had one small beer. And conversation was fun too. One thing that got my attention was that performers are really close to each other, like family. They celebrated one of their friends birthday and slapped her with a cake! They are all sober and well. Owner is a great guy talking with customers one by one. Overall great club. Although the ladies performance was superb (with some exceptions), our waitress over-charged us about 4 drinks mixed in with our orders and even brought the manager to force us to pay the drinks we didnt even have.I gave them my card which she then hostaged it, threatening me that if no one pays, I would be charge the full amount of the bill.She also kept my card in her bra which funny enough, snapped my card in half (I actually do find that hilarious).Bartender doesnt know how to make an Old Fashion unless she was taught to make it bourbon on the rocks with a cherry?Manager was polite at first and then had an attitude with me because I told them to swipe my card in front of me.They never gave us our cash payment back either. Im guessing they use that to tip the server. We were sure not to give a single dime after that incident.Moral of the story? They steal right in front of you and youll have to deal with it. Dont keep an open tab. She is a waitress and perhaps didnt even finish high school from what it looks like, though Im sure I could even hire a senseless animal to do a better job...

Its a rip off place,lost a phone and a wallet with cash and very important cards,waitress was racist,very rude and treated me like trash,not every black that comes here is Nigerian why would you refer us as “This Nigerians”. We were there to spend and have fun,tried asking the manager to pull cameras so that we can check to see the person who stole the wallet but there was no help,so disapointed.
