Very nice place- staying here for a week... Rooms are clean and live the shower (water comes out during! )Easy walk to the beach though high tide is right outside the gate. They have a resistant on site but havent visited it (due to covid concerns) but folks say its great... We are within speaking distance of meant other places with outside dining and drinking.Service here at the hotel is great!tj
Nice place right on the Ocean. Food was ok. They served us broccoli that was 4 inches of stems and two tops not hot at all. Large group some were done before others even started. I had the fried shrimp very good. The desserts were ok. For the money spent probably wont be back. Other than the ocean view The Reef Ocean Resort was just ok.

I recently stayed at the Reef Ocean Resort and I was not pleased with my stay. During my stay, there were cockroaches in the room. During the middle of the night, I woke up to a cockroach in my hair!!!!!We didnt stay the third night because we were so terrified to stay in the room. While having beach access was great, I would not consider staying here again due to the number of cockroaches I saw in the room. We stayed in room 318, right above the restaurant Bobbys. Do not stay in 318 and please be aware of what I went through.Also, we were not pleased with the customer service. The general manager asked us for proof of the cockroach (who saves a cockroach?) and the resort was not able to change our room the last night of our stay without charging a fee. We got the third night refunded but overall I was not happy that I had to deal with cockroaches while on vacation.
Probably one of the best deals going for an ocean front resort. Nice clean rooms. Great location. And the owners all seem to be very nice and friendly.
Had time share here for 21 years. Love the location and the staff does a great job. I dont know about other time share properties but the Reef is a fantastic property.

Nice location on beach. The resort is nice and staff very friendly and helpful. You can rent beach chairs and umbrella for $1/Day for each one. Which is a great deal! The rooms are clean and there is a maid service that comes every day to give you fresh towels and on Wednesdays they remake the beds with clean sheets and vacuum the room, which was really nice. I took away a star b/c there is no fitness center, so if you like to workout this place will have no equipment for you. You can always go for a jog, but not everyone likes to run.

This place is the perfect weekend or week long getaway.. restaurant is amazing with a great selection of food.. re modeled a few things so the property has some new features.. feet away from the beach and the atmosphere could not be any better for someone just looking to get away. Def would recommend to anyone.
This resort is on the beach which is wonderful! However, the unit we stayed in could use updating. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the amenities are good.

Reef Ocean Resort is a warm, homey community just steps from the ocean. The grounds are pristine...there are activities to entertain and bring guests together planned for each day. The hot tub and pool are both handicap accessible and the office staff is anxious to make everything easy for you. Add to that... Bobbys Restaurant (excellent food and drink) and the Reefs proximity to so many local spots of interest, and you have a perfect vacation destination.

Perfect place for a family vacation! I am super picky about cleanliness (I inspect sheets, towels, etc) and everything passed my standards. Although the rooms are a tad outdated, they make up for it with cleanliness. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, toaster, pots/pans and dishes. It’s a good idea to stop by the store to stock up on food. We ate breakfast and lunch at the resort and then went out to dinner each night. It was nice having kitchen amenities so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. The pool overlooked the ocean and was clean. The ocean is only a few feet away. Our day usually started with the pool, then we ate lunch at the condo and spent the afternoon at the ocean. The front desk has sand toys you can use and chairs. If you buy them you can donate them to the front desk afterwards. Cravings ice cream is a great place to walk to and Casey’s is a fun outdoor place to grab a quick bite. Overall a very quiet and fun place to vacation!

Ive been going to the Reef Ocean Resort since I was 3. I am now 40 and will be going again this summer. It is a small, quiet resort. It is good for families and small children. I took one star off, because there was several years in a row that our room wasnt ready on time. Last year, we intentionally didnt arrive until later in the evening to ensure that it would be ready. I was told that the people that rent the room before me check out late.We have a room on the bottom floor that is beach front. It is a one bedroom, one bathroom, with a small kitchen and fold out couch. Some items could be updated, but it is a good price. The room is nice and housekeeping is efficient. The beach is clean and not too crowded. Overall, it is always a nice experience.
Love that we had a full kitchen makes it easier to feed a family of 6 instead of going out to eat all the time. Also loved the proximity to the pool, the beautiful sunrise came right in our windows. We were able to set up our canopy on the beach and go back and forth to the pool or to our room as we pleased without worrying about our things. The women in the office when we checked in were super friendly and helpful however the lady in the morning with checkout was quite grouchy. We were running a few minutes late (15 minutes) because our 6 month old spit up a lot and I wanted to clean it, then he had a blow out diaper. I think that would be understandable. Otherwise we love Vero beach and have tried a couple different places to stay so far this was our favorite.

The worse hospitality experience I have ever had. The front office manager is a racist and it is obvious she doesn’t like black folks. She has a very mean and nasty spirit. The rooms were dated and I don’t even know why they call this a resort as there are no resort style amenities. African Americans beware as we are not welcomed at Reef Ocean Resort Vero Beach!!!

This is a awesome place to stay. Its right on the beach, which is clean and clear. The staff here is the best. The room we stayed in was comfortable and home feeling. Overall great place.
Great little place with a ton of charm. Location is great and we spent four days there with no car because everything we needed was walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach was a 30 second stroll away. If you can get one of their rooms at the low price we had, youll be pleasantly surprised!
The Reef is a wonderful place to stay. I am an owner, and the staff is always happy and helpful. The location is perfect and I always see new turtle nest markers. It is a week of rest, relaxation and fun for the whole family in a safe environment. Nothing but praise for the Reef. If you are a renter, meaning you dont own a deed for a week of a particular unit, then just make sure you get your *free* wristband for the pool at check-in, the $2 option is for a band you can keep.

We were promised a private balcony only to be given a covered walkway/ladder storage that was overlooking a unfinished roof with exposed wires that were painted, tie strapped to the rail right above the designated smoking area in which more cig butts laid in the mulch than in the container and kept a constant stinc of nasty smelling cigs. Not the best way to impress potential time share customers. It was NOTHING like the pictures you see. The lights outside the door flickered all night. Not very handicap accessible. Very poor lighting and the yellow paint marking the steps are old and faded so be prepared to stumble as the lights are off at night due to saving the turtles. Between the ladder on the walkway...the lights off at night... the poor marking on the many step and a bar on the property its going to be trouble soon. Insurance is key here. Then theres the bar...right below us... the language, cigarettes smoke, and the loud patrions made it one miserable week. Coming back... We drove 12 hours for this trip. No...but next door to this place looked top shelf. Sorta made us sick to our stomachs at the money we wasted on this place. If you have been a time share for years you get a good room but for first timers.... just try it yourself.
Have been a time share holder at The Reef Ocean Resort for over 6 years having 3 units and my girlfriend have one unit. Went over to use the beach area only on 2/6/2018 and was stopped by a custodian of the Reef Ocean Resort at the beach gate. Was told to sign in at office. Told him we were members of the Reef Ocean Resort and were going to the beach area. He said to sign in at office. Offices reply was they were fully booked up and was not able to use the facility. When at the beach area gate there might have been 10 people at the most using the beach area. We only wanted to use the beach area to relax, being we are timeshare holders at the Reef Ocean Resort. Very, Very, Very dissatisfied and disappointed with that event. Was told when bought units , that one could use facility any time. This was very upsetting as I had my brother from Erie, Pa. to show him the beach and relax, made me feel like a fool. As the custodian was very loud and I am sure the entire pool side could hear his remarks.
Went here as a kid every summer for many years, it was a great place then and seems to be a great place now according to my friends. The location is perfect, you can go to the pool and then walk a few steps and you are at the beach entrance. The on-site restaurant is awesome, but also lots or places to eat within walking distance. Definitely would recommend.

An affordable family vacation spot. Vero Beach is a hidden gem on the Treasure Coast and this is a great place to experience it. Rooms are clean and the staff is helpful. The restaurant on the property is a great place to have a meal or a drink.
Ive been coming here for 20+ years. The rooms are nicely updated and the view of the beach is amazing. They have a decent size pool and a hot tub. Theres also a grill area with a nice playground for the kids. The beach is just a few steps from some of the rooms.
I have my time share here. My friend introduced me to this places several years ago and I had to buy one. The staff is always accommodating and nice. The rooms are clean and ready when I get there. Ive had several friends but timeshares here because of the location.

Clean, quiet and quaint. Friendly staff if you are planning a visit and wish to visit the spa they are closed in the off season. Located in Vero Beavh Florida this resort is nestled between white sandy beaches restaurants and shopping. This is a great area to observe the laid back Florida lifestyle and mingle with the very friendly locals.
We ate outside. Service was excellent. Mary was a great server. Food great!
Great facilities & people
I have never stayed at any motel or hotel that has had such terrible parking arrangements for guests. I booked their most expensive ocean front unit. The hotel has a restaurant (Bobbys) on its property. I parked our car and the first night we came back to the hotel after shopping only to find that all the parking spaces were gone. Bobbys customers filled the lot. We had to roam for parking on the highway or side streets. I complained the next morning and the only response I got from the manager on duty was We are so busy now. I asked about reserved parking for guests or blocking off spaces for hotel guests, or valet parking Bobbys guests and got no response. A lot attendant sits near the lot but I could not figure out what this persons job was. It wasnt to make sure people parked in spaces suited for their vehicles or to valet park cars. The attendant sat where he couldnt see what was going on. The next night the same had to roam experience took place. The third night I got a big door ding from a guest who parked so close to my vehicle with a large SUV in a compact space that making contact with his door was the only way he could squeeze out of his SUV. I complained again with no response. The last morning at the Reef was the final straw. On the way to checking out I saw a hotel maintenance employee talking to a lady guest about a large scrape on her vehicle. I proceeeded to the office to check out and when I returned to my car I discovered that both front and rear drivers side door had been mashed in. I was livid and told the desk and the manager said that all I could do was to file a police report. The same maintenance employee told me that the parking problems were a regular issues at the Reef and Bobbys customers often had a few drinks in them or were older and had reflex issues, or both . I got the phone number of the Reef Manager and contacted her. She said I should send her my emailed information and she would forward ti on to the Property Owners Board of Directors. I did hear back from the Board Chair and he told me that they had referred the matter to their insurance company. Its been several weeks and I have not been contacted by the insurance firm.I will never stay at the Reef again and would advise anyone with a vehicle not to stay there either. Their parking situation is horrible and inexcusable.

Room was great, staff was also great ! Parking was a little lacking.Activities were needy and and few and far between. But overall a great place to vacation and relax.
Great place to vacation. This is our 5th year coming for Spring Break. Our grandson is here to play ball at Dodger town.

We own a time share and have been coming here every year as a family for ten years. My husband has been coming here every year for over 30. We look forward to it all year long. Its always clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

This place is anti disability. I have a service dog 7 lbs. They would not let me bring my dog in. I had to board my dog and I am having severe anxiety about leaving him. I cant believe this had happened. I would not reccomend this resort.

The staff is very friendly and helpful....the condo we were in was very small (identified as a studio) and not up to date although recently remodeled. Supposedly this condo sleeps 4, none privately, but 4 people and 4 peoples stuff would not fit. The amenities were lacking and although the resort is right on the ocean, our condo was a block away. There is a tiny kitchen area that is awkward to actually use. Minor repairs have been left undone and just add to the lack of the condos appeal. Parking is a problem...the resort shares their parking lot with a restaurant. On a positive note, the resort does have a very nice pool.Next day edit of above....apparently our condo and others I am sure are not terrific but in walking thru the resort to get to the beach, we found that property to be much nicer...guess it is all about location location location. Just inquire as to where your actual unit is and the details of what it is like. We were assigned the unit we were in thru a time share exchange. For us, this was a very lopsided trade.We did not realize until we arrived that we had no washer and dryer in our unit....definitely no space for it....very inconvenient but what we found even more irritating was, after lugging our laundry halfway thru the complex, that we needed quarters to operate this privately owned, without public access, washer and dryer....how insane when every timeshare exchange we have made in 30 years had a washer and dryer within the unit.
