This small but informative place will give you a good overview of Indian River County which will celebrate 100 years in 2025. The Indian River Historical Society saved this old train station and turned it into an historical museum. It wont take long to see it but you will learn something about the history of our area. There is a model train display in the center of the museum. There are also some free and paid materials available. If you combine this place with the Citrus Museum down the street, youll have a nice background of the countrys history.

Very, very small historical museum with limited hours focused on Vero. I would stop by for 30 minute visit if interested in area & driving downtown. Its not worth a special trip.

Unfortunately it was closed on the day we were here. The building was historic and unique.

This was our second visit and we are very impressed with the information we were able to get about the history of Vero Beach very friendly people and answer any of our questions.

If you need to know anything about Indian River County history, this would be your go to place. Very friendly staff.

Part of Downtown Vero and the start of the Historic Downtown Vero Beach Ingress mission.

It helps if youre open the hours posted, either on the website or door. Neither were correct, I was there before 230pm. Doors all locked.
