We really enjoyed this little museum. We received a personal tour and the volunteers were very knowledgeable. It was interesting to learn the history of Twentynine Palms and why people initially decided to settle here. It was neat to see the actual school house and our 6 year old was fascinated with all of the items from the olden days. Its definitely worth the visit! Cost if free and donations are appreciated but not required.
Was told of the museum story by a local retired teacher and a staff person. Life was so hard back then.
This museum is so very authentic with antiques from olden days. Their Friday night lectures are well done and so informative. The Weed show at the end of summer is fantastic. They carry many books about this area that are hard to find elsewhere. The volunteers are knowedgeable and will answer all your questions.
Youll learn some neat things about 29 in here.
A surprisingly high-quality museum for such a small town. But 29-Palms has a rich history!
Very intriguing little museum for a small town
Cool place to visit
Interesting stop with passionate staff.
Cool place if you want to know the history of 29.
It is nice to find people preserving the history of the past without trying to change it to appear more PC.
Great for Pokemon go!
Very nice and interesting artifacts this place has, especially the items from when the museum was an actual schoolhouse and items from World War Two.
