We were visiting the Kansas Historical Museum and noticed that the Archives were in the same building. I made a quick visit to the Archives and was truly amazed at the scope of their collections. The staff spent over 30 minutes just orienting me to everything they have available. If you are planning to visit, start with their on-line site, then develop a research plan and make sure you budget 2 or 3 hours (or more) for your visit. For a Kansas history or genealogy researcher this facility is a must visit.
