Nate, the owner, was very helpful and is very good at his job! He sent us a form to fill out that covered every detail of our night. Honestly, it was great because there were things that I had not thought of yet. It even got down to asking who our wedding planner was, the venue, and preacher, in case they needed to contact them for any reason. They take initiative and I love that! I spoke with the owner on the phone so that we could discuss our vision for the day. That was super helpful! They normally like to meet in person, and I do too, but my schedule didn’t allow for it. I can not say enough about Nate Long from Amplify Entertainment! During our wedding planning season, we learned that choosing the right DJ for your wedding was paramount. We were able to see Nate perform in person twice at two different wedding expos. After that, we just knew we had to have him. He was very responsive, professional, capable of getting anything done that you requested, and if you wanted to change something, he was all for it! Not once did Nate make us feel as if we were “bothering” him when we had 100 questions, or last minute changes. Having a wedding during COVID19 is insane. But hiring Nate at Amplify Entertainment to DJ my wedding was the best detail of the night! My now husband and I are very “go with the flow” and don’t really think about music too much. All we knew was we didn’t want group dances or country music played. I spent a lot of time feeling guilty about how little direction we gave Dexter at Amplify Entertainment. It clearly didn’t phase him because he was wonderful! The songs he picked were still in tune to what we enjoy at weddings, to the point of where some of my guests thought I actually made the playlist. Ultimately, I think Dexter is a wizard and he did a great job of playing to the crowd. He even jumped on the dance floor to get people up! We originally asked for music to be set up outside for cocktail hour, after a last-minute decision there wasn’t a need for the outside music. Jake and his wife were amazing! They did our wedding on August 3 and the dance floor was FULL from the first song to the last. A lot of my guests commented on how they loved that Jake and Alex were dancing and singing along with the music as well instead of just sitting there waiting for the time to pass. This company is worth every cent!

My husband and I recently had the privilege of having Nate with Amplify Entertainment DJ our wedding & all of our guests (including us) cannot stop talking about how amazing he was! Nate was our first choice for a DJ based on his reviews and our friends and we were so lucky to snag him!From our very first meeting with Nate, he put us at ease. We met him at his office at the Wedding Suite (the same building as A Country Rose florist) which is centrally located to decide on the appropriate package and lock him down for our wedding date. Nate helped us pick the most appropriate package for us and was adamant about making sure we got our moneys worth. We met with Nate one more time to sum everything up a week before the big day and it completely put my mind at ease. After filling out a detailed questionnaire and going over it with Nate in person, no question was left unanswered.Nate without a doubt played a key role in making our wedding day memorable, not just for us, but for all of our guests as well. We added on the live violinist and guitarist for our ceremony in addition to the package we chose through Amplify- & we are so glad we did. The violinist and guitarist were able to play the modern/pop songs I picked out for the processional and it was so special! We wanted our reception to be a party celebration with dancing and Nate made it happen! Nate was professional, easy to work with, flexible, and overall just a great guy to work with- we highly highly recommend Amplify Entertainment!

My husband and I have been to many weddings over the past few years, all with DJs. Some were from Amplify and some were not. Hear these words... there is a marked difference!!! When it came time to assist our own daughter and her fiance in planning their own wedding, it was the easiest choice. Amplify Entertainment is THE best!Nate, the owner, is professional, kind, timely, and knowledgeable. He took the time to truly get to know our daughter and her fiance and got a real feel of their personality and style. He assisted them in choosing a DJ that would fit. And let me tell you, Dexter was one of us that night!The time leading up to a wedding can be very stressful. Dexter made himself available to the kids and told them to contact him with any concerns or questions that came up. When they did, he promptly and politely responded. It was like they were working with a friend!Wedding day came... and what a fantastic job he did! Just incredible! This was a DIY family (church family, so 240 guests) wedding... we did not hire a planner or coordinator but let me tell you, we so did not need one because of Dexter! His organization and knowledge of details were crazy. From playing music during the social hour, to introducing the bridal party, to calling tables to the buffet line, to keeping the dance floor lit, Dexter was the man! He led the entire night with energy and fun and kindness! It went off without a hitch! What Dexter did NOT do was just show up and play music. It was quite obvious MANY hours before the day had gone into his performance. He was so prepared. Wow. Our guests have been raving about the DJ! He played the right music, he played it when it was suppose to be played and he got everyone out there dancing when no one would. I was way to stressed to pick the songs I wanted for my wedding so I left it up to him, I told him know cuss words or anything to crazy and he did perfect with the song selections. They stayed in contact with me months and days before the wedding. Very patient and kind and outgoing. Amplify Entertainment was our first choice in DJ and musical entertainment services for our wedding! We have had the pleasure of attending multiple weddings where Nate was the DJ, and they were all spectacular. Having had to opportunity now to experience their services as a both wedding guest and a client, we can say that they are absolutely the BEST! They are incredibly organized, professional, and most of all - fun! We loved having Nate as our DJ and a live violinist and guitarist duo play during our ceremony. Nate made it easy to make difficult decisions regarding music and he worked closely with our wedding planners to ensure that every detail was in place. Even so that when we had planned in our final meeting to have him play I Melt With You for our recessional song, the rain got in the way but he had already prepared a backup plan where our live musicians played it instead. We are so impressed with Nate and Amplify and could not be happier with our choice to book their services for our special day!

Nate and Amplify entertainment were awesome to work with for our school function. Numerous guests approached me after the event and said he was the best DJ we have ever had. He knows what hes doing, plays great music, keeps the crowd engaged in a cool way (definitely not cheesy) and is super professional.

I relied heavily on online reviews when choosing vendors as my wedding took place about 250 miles away from where we live. Amplify had such great reviews, but you never really know.The reviews were right...we could not have been more pleased with the DJ services at our wedding! Nate was very responsive to my initial e-mails and questions, and when we had our final walk through of the reception, he made it so easy to plan with the reception guide. I went into the day feeling like he knew what we wanted, and he sure did deliver! The music got so many guests up and dancing, even ones who are usually sit at their table guests at weddings. He included a lot of fun interactive events (for lack of a better term) that got people up on the dance floor and having fun but that did not exactly require them to dance if they werent comfortable doing so.And since money is always a factor, I felt that I got so much bang for my buck with my choice of DJ. Very reasonably priced and worth every penny for the fun we had.We are truly grateful to Nate and Amplify for making our reception absolutely perfect! People are still telling me how much fun they had and how great the DJ was! Thank you so much!

I’m not one to pay attention to small details, but I was recently at a reception when the music legit stopped. Everyone was so confused. The DJ closed his laptop and went outside. The DJ was definitely the talk of the night and not in a good way lol. I kid you not, one girl plugged her phone in their sound system and played the music. I felt so bad for the bride and groom. Not sure what went on there. I also found out the owner of the company did nothing to compensate for the disaster. I’m sure there are far better DJ services you can hire.

We used Amplify for our wedding and everything went off without a hitch (no pun intended)! We were very impressed with the overall outcome of everything; it felt like the DJ was a family friend and made things so smooth without all the added stress! Wonderful company!

Nate and his team at Amplify were absolutely AWESOME to work with. They were not only friendly and welcoming from the beginning, but totally open to ideas and catered to our wedding day requests. Pricing is GREAT and Nate totally catered to our music choices. We used Eliot the Saxophone player for our ceremony and cocktail hour - everyone LOVED him! He even played requested songs for my bridal entrance and NAILED it. I cant tell you how easy and wonderful Amplify was from the very beginning to the last song at our wedding. I cant recommend them enough, but if youre planning an event and you need any sort of music, youre NEED Amplify. I am SO grateful that they were recommended to us and Im SO incredibly glad that we used their professional talents - they are the BEST!

I recently attended one of my best friend’s wedding and was very disappointed in Amplify Entertainment and the DJ services they delivered. The reason I am taking the time to leave this review is because my fiancé and I are in the beginning stages of planning a wedding ourselves and had heard good things about Amplify. After seeing Amplify in action, all I can say is please take my advice and look elsewhere. We are only a couple of many people that were highly disappointed in the sloppy services they provided, and we were GUESTS. I can only imagine how the bride and groom feel. The DJ put MINIMAL effort into his job and acted like he would like to be anywhere else than there. He wasnt at his computer during important song transitions for the first dances and did a poor job with the sound setup as it was very hard to hear the speeches. He had ZERO hype whatsoever when it came time for everyone to get on the dance floor and that continued until the time he left. With all that being said, I think we were actually lucky to see it first hand before we hired this company. I just feel bad for anyone else that doesnt get that opportunity and has to find out on their wedding day.

We used Dexter from Amplify Entertainment and WOW. We had people coming up to us the entire time during our wedding asking how we found such a great DJ and telling us how much fun they were having. Dexter was so kind and attentive to what we envisioned for our wedding day. He played all of the right songs at all of the right moments and was out on the dance floor dancing with everyone, it was awesome !!! We also had a violinist play during our ceremony through Amplify Entertainment and she was phenomenal, and she added the perfect touch to our wedding. Amplify was a total disaster at my wedding. Everyone knows it. I don’t feel that I need to get into deep detail because there are other reviews with details, but it was a complete fail. The DJ approached me at 9pm (1.5 hrs early) and asked if I would end the wedding early because he didn’t have downloaded music and his wifi wasn’t working. If one of my guests did not have downloaded music on their phone, that would have been the end of the show.Even this is not enough for me to write a review. We contacted Nate afterwards and he stated that he thinks Dakota was having an anxiety attack once the first thing went wrong and that’s why Dakota closed his laptop and walked out of the reception. I totally understand that sometimes people have personal issues/problems and that doesn’t mean that a company is bad… I do not think Dakota had mal intention or is a bad person.My issue is that Nate never resolved this issue or made it right(or even attempted to). He never offered us $5, $50, $500 or a full refund. After we talked with him the initial time, he wouldn’t return our phone calls or text messages. He finally sent us a text a week or so later that stated he was unwilling to make this right. He says they were honest mistakes and undeserving of compensation.I understand that forgetting the music is an honest mistake and you meant no harm by it, but isn’t it in our contract that you supply that?We were totally shocked.I am sure there are a lot of great experiences with Amplify and ours was probably a fluke, but the way Nate handled this is what represented his business.

I totally recommend the Amplify Entertainment! DJ Lane did an awesome job at my Quinceañera! He did a good job balancing the English and Latin music. We all had an awesome time!!

I chatted with Nate about a year and a half before my wedding, unable to book at the time due to finances, and he was so understanding and helpful, always reaching out to see how things were going and if we needed anything! We were finally able to meet with him and get things set up and it was like chatting with an old friend! Just so incredibly kind and helpful, especially since we were having our wedding in Pensacola! For our DJ, we got his brother Jake who was AWESOME! Dancing the night away is one of my fondest memories of such a special day - my husband, who rarely dances ever, was so sad when we only had a few songs left! Jake did a great job mixing all of the different kinds of music we wanted and did such a good job reading the crowd. He was also SO kind when I went to his booth more times than I should have asking him to play this song or see what was coming up and if he could do this or that - just so kind and made me truly feel like it was MY day and he was only there to make my husband and I happy. My husband and I joke around that we want to have an anniversary party with just a bar, a dance floor, and Jake! lol. And the icing on the cake is how affordable they are for the amazing services you get. Seriously just blown away! 11/10 recommend!!!

Nate was a HIT at my daughter’s Sweet 16th birthday party! It was impressive how he got 50 teenagers to dance the entire 3 hours. They loved him!! He orchestrated a sing off between the guys and girls...it was hilarious and every kid was belting out the song at the top of their lungs. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves also - Nate did all the work! I had tons of food left over because all they wanted to do was dance. Thank you a million times, Nate, for making my girl’s Sweet 16 a party she’ll never forget!!

Amplify is the only choice for your event’s entertainment! Nate, the owner, is so personable and makes sure that the rest of his crew is too. There are two meetings in order for your DJ to get to know you. With these two meetings and a packet for your event, your DJ will take care of the rest. The packet is very thorough to ensure that you include everything that you want your event to be. They have top of the line equipment and many different packages for everyone’s budget. Amplify took the timeline of our event and ran it themselves. They announced whenever something was coming up so that my husband and I could just enjoy our wedding. Music flowed seamlessly through the night even with different music genres for different times of the night. After our wedding, we received many compliments saying that our wedding was “the best wedding they had ever been to” and a large part of that was due to our entertainment. Other people thought that Nate was one of our great friends because of how well he clicked with us and how well he knew what music we wanted at our wedding. All in all, Amplify entertainment is the best choice for your event. You will be so glad that you did!!
