Could say so many things about this area so ill just leave it at this: this is easily the best part of tallahassee...if youre visiting please stop by. Fun stores and businesses to check out even if youre not planning on making any purchases and you can get a small walk in(Obviously best is subjective...its quaint and artsy, shops are more niche and vintage and offers fun activities as well with a couple small parks in/around it... perfect even for window shopping)

If you are from out of town and you catch this place when everything is open, not to be missed. An artsy-fartsy unique piece of the city. The only thing like it around. Vintage stores, pinball machines, rocks, clothes, gaming, rock climbing, local food, coffee, craft beer, you never know what you will find.

It never seems like all of the shops around are open? Currently under construction (in the opening where it happened to be my favorite, bummer) but the rest of the park is still amazing and fun and a great place to go on walks with friends, whether youre looking for something to do or not. Theres several shops, art, a few small parks, places to park the scooters, and even a bike fixing station. Great walk, cool things.

Art is great and reasonably priced from new artist to well established artist. Great shopping of very hip and cool things from old printing, records, vintage clothing, and more. 1st Friday in November includes a Art Goddess Lounge, where artist marry their Art in a unique Ceremony. I true Artist vibe with all types of readings, interactive things happening. Bands playing all types of music on multiple stages, food trucks, with great prices. Unlike most other 1st Friday’s I have been to around the world, this ones is not full of over priced craft Booths and junk nic-Nacs. So have a cocktail, walk around listening to the music while enjoying all the available Art from Every genre, and even learn about your future.

RIP Railroad Square. New residents of Tally will never get the experience the heyday of the vibrant culture and community as RR SQ gets gentrified by development. This is the standard receipe - artists, local shops and restaurants, and regular people make an area interesting and desirable, corporate developers notice, greedy landlords sell out, construction of chain hotels and stores and luxury housing pushes most people and places out that made the place great to begin with, and local government gladly licks up the tax revenue like the corporate lapdogs they are

What a wonderful relaxing place to visit shop owners and chat about their wares! Every owner was so kind and friendly which made our visit even more fun! It was a quiet Sunday when we were there--which probably added to the calm pace. We didnt buy much, rather enjoyed walking around and looking at things. We did not know what to expect upon arrival, but this visit was a very happy part of our day!
