The newly remodeled casino is the best. Emerald Queen is following all safety protocols. Their restaurants have some delicious food and comfortable dining.

New casino is very nice. They keep the place really clean. Even the restrooms are nice. Lots of slots and table games.. we had a great time here.. very polite and friendly staff.. Poor / lack of waitress for drinks at slots, but fast service at bar or drink stations. South Parking garage is very crowded. Suggest trying to park in one of the others, or be prepared to hunt for a spot for awhile.

Very very beautiful casino/hotel, one of three best ones Ive been to yet. Games are a little pricey but a great experience. If your thinking about going to a casino Id pick the Queen of I were you.

Clean and new. Done very nice the ventilation in the smoking area keeps the air nice everywhere. Good place to pop in for a drink at 6am even.

Car was stolen from parking lot. I understand people lose their cars in this area, however we walked around to all areas before we asked for help just to make sure.Lance at the ID check was very concerned, helpful and genuinely seemed to want to help. Keenan made light of the situation assuming we just lost our car making jokes and smiling at me. He then said he would help someone else first who lost their ID and then check on our car. Very rude and unprofessional. This place looks like a Vegas hotel but is run like a 1 star motel. Too bad

The place and nice and all but I had a unpleasant first experience I was taking pictures of some amazing art work and so... inside the casino and I was scolded by a security guy Photography in the casino wasnt allowed. I dont necessarily know why but I believe that was no cool and I was very confused because of it.

I LOVE THE NEW LOOK! I alway have a great time when I visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I love this new casino, is very clean and wont stink your clothes to cigarette, they have the best ventilation I noticed at the moment I walked out. Best technology on checking bodies temperature, touchless and 6ft away from you.

While eating at one of the beautiful restaurants, a couple of management decided to eat in the dining room next to guests. They were on their walkie talkies the whole time, and it was not only embarrassing but completely unprofessional. These are your management? Lol. I know you dont respond to these reviews and its sad. When general gratuity and employment are down, its due to a lack of decent management, and guest satisfaction. Sad.

The new casino is beautiful! Plenty of parking in the garage and lots of security walking around, made me feel very safe! In the non smoking section there are comfy chairs and tables that over look the freeway and Tacoma area, very nice! Staff are professional and friendly. Overall great experience!!!

Clean, well decorated Casino with lots of onsite parking. Actual Casino area is not huge but a decent variety of machines. Two areas for table games. Honestly I would say it does not live up to the Vegas style gaming they claim in the ads. Still it is one of the nicer Casinos in the area and a huge improvement over the old location.

I love this casino but lately they seem to have tightened the machines down. Its like theyre gonna make gamers pay for that new casino all at once

Went to eat at the Puyallup Cafe and the food was fantastically delicious. The Spanish server was also great he was very attentive.

They have upped their game! Very nice place. Great quality food. Very clean establishment. Only complaint is the lack of well known slots such as star wars, lord of the rings, willie Wonka, or similar well known franchises.

Pending their completion of the covid-19 conditions, the casino looks wonderful. Smoking is on the south entry from the south garage and the non-smoking from the north entry on the North garage. Very pretty. Most of the old machine versions are gone. New versions are entertaining but not as familiar. Hope them luck.

Its big and its flashy..... But if youre looking for all the old classic games dont waste your time.Its also kind of frustrating to walk around seeing staff with their masks off.Definitely gives you the Vegas vibe.Tip to the germ conscious...... Carry your own sanatizer...... I dont think I saw more than one station

A beautiful 5 star casino for the PNW. I loved the set up. This is one of the first casinos Ive been to that have outside windows and seats to relax and take in the view. Ive never been to a casino that has seats not in front of a slot machine or gaming table.

Omg it was wonderful first thing it not dark and dingy like most casinos, its a very bright and upbeat environment. Sooo many and such diverse set of machines to choose from. If you are in the area check it out. You wont be let down.

EQC is your average washington casino experience. They do not have the grandeur of a big casino that you might expect. The buffet is ok and they have loads of games. The atmosphere is not the best and its not somewhere that I would take my significant other.

Well it hasnt been a good experience its a beautiful casino but you cant win Ive been 3 times now and every time its been terrible but it was expected I mean it was so bad the first time I didnt want to go back but I gave it a second chance and a third chance but that will be the last time I go you cant get a bonus and if you do your lucky I remember the one I got a bonus on and I spent about 80 bucks to get in the bonus and I was thinking alright a 2 dollar bet and Max bet was just 2 more buttons away but anyway I thought I might have something out of that 2 dollar bet and 10 free spins I won a whole 8 cents it was rediculous and I walked out and then the second chance i couldnt even get in a bonus and the third time no bonus it is just pethetic so no more for me in the future except I will drive by and say to myself that place is a joke

I was treated rudely by the cashiers. Wont ever be back. I have been a long time customer. Your staff needs to know we have choices there are alot of casinos here in Washington. We dont need to be treated terrible.

I understand the COVID precautions. I gor one appreciate the extra steps they are taking for it. But only 4 people at a table and only one (non high limits table) of each game. I want to play Pai Gow but the only 4 seats we taken and I got tired of waiting on just those 4. We were told by the floor manager that the other table may be open by 8pm (20 min away) then when asked again at 830 he said i could go to high limits instead.We ate at the cafe restaurant and our buster/SA did more for us than our actual server. The apps (clams), soup and sald were good, but the main dishes were far from it. My steak wrap was soggy.After we ate we checked for opening at the tables but to no avail.You can smell the smoke in the non smoking area because its the same building w not much separation. The slot area feels like a maze with no real clear path. It feels more crowded with less people than other casinos that i have been to. The large windows brought in natural light but with it being later in the evening you get blinded in the limited non smoking area.

All machines are garbage. They opened up and took in a profit of 79.6 million and only gave 3.6 mill back. Pretty money hungry. Machines are set to 76% payout. Have a buddy who works here as a slot tech. Dont go. Spend your money somewhere else.

This is a review of the new Emerald Queen from Saturday, June 13th. I don’t typically write reviews, but I feel morally inclined to do so based on the deceptive information on the EQ website. We went early in the afternoon, after reading the casino would only be at 30% capacity, and wanted to ensure entry. We reviewed the protocol online and reserved hotel rooms nearby. At 3pm the lines for drinks were already ridiculous. Then, the casino got busier. And busier. And busier. It was, to be completely honest, shocking. I felt as though I was in Las Vegas for March madness. They required masks (kind of, considering you still smoke and drink, if you can get a cocktail), took thermal temperatures upon entry, had plexiglass between slot machines, and 4 people on tables, but that’s where the protocol ended. There were HUGE lines everywhere: for ATMs, promotions, every restaurant, ticket redemption, every beverage service station, for slot machines and tables. No one disinfecting machines or equipment. No cocktailers to be seen. No one wiping down tables. We thought about leaving, but at a certain point you feel as though it’s too late. Is this the plan? Once present, you’re a captive audience? Seems disingenuous. It was so packed I’m putting myself into an ethically self-induced quarantine over the next couple of weeks. The highlight of the night was our bartender, Dee, and the place was pretty. I haven’t been overly paranoid during the pandemic, but this was just a blatant disregard for health and empty promises made on the website with absolutely no follow through. If you’re not worried about social distancing, knock yourselves out. If you are, be prepared. To top it off, my friend had an allergic reaction from a cook who reused a pan for multiple pastas, though she specified her shellfish allergies beforehand (restaurant 101, you never reuse shellfish pans for food items without shellfish before cleaning, period) and didn’t receive so much as an apology. And if you need water, forget it: at the end of the evening I visited 4 bars, all out of water. Out of water?!? I drank out of the tap in the bathroom. Maybe a little luck would have helped the sting, but no. I hope they get it together soon, but I won’t be around to see it.
