Great theater. Good deals on tickets. Just wish the theaters themselves were slightly more comfortable. Chairs are kinda low to the ground and make it hard to actually see the screen. You cant like actually relax. You have to sit up straight and proper, otherwise youre vision will be obstructed by the chairs im from of you.The volume could be slightly louder too. But thats not too big a deal.All in all though, definitely a theater worth going to.

We were so excited about going to see a movie. Great prices on tickets and food. But.........the bathrooms were closed! How can you serve food and drinks, large drinks at that and have NO bathrooms open?

Used LOVE this place. It was $3 movies and had great choices in movies. Now they raised the price to $7 for an adult. Still cheaper than most theaters.

Affordable family movie nights. The theater had recently installed new theater seats. The seats have higher backs which are hard for shorter kids and people to see over. However, the theater staff will provide seat cushions upon request to help elevate viewers. Tickets are $3 per person for all showings.

Great Theater, Great Price. BUT......as the new seats are comfortable, they are not kid friendly, or height friendly. The seats are too tall, and even with the booster seats available, my kids can not see the screen that well unless we are in the front row.

Always an excellent experience here. I was extremely glad they opened up this location, and it is a favorite of not only myself, but of all of my friends as well. We frequent this theater, and have never had a bad experience. Staff is fast and friendly, and the place is kept very clean.

The Price is Right but trust me the customer service is lacking. While waiting for concessions when a new register was open they did not help the next person that whoever could run over there the quickest. I guess you get what you pay for.

I love going to legacy theater. The seats are comfy and the price is right! We saw Little Women, and enjoyed it very much!

Hard to beat fod the money. Really cant complain for the price. Sure, its not up to date or state of the art, but for the $3 you pay to see a movie, it cant be matched, dollar per time for entertainment provided.

It was retro. The whole mall is retro. Its clean and popcorn was fresh. Its directly across from an actual arcade which has games from the late 80s to early 90s. Honestly the team that own this mall must have owned the crossroads mall in Beckley, wv as its layout is the exact same. Loved the theatre and surrounding stores.

Inexpensive tickets are always a plus! You may have to wait a few weeks to see your preferred film, but once it’s there, you’ll enjoy the experience! They have large theaters with comfy seating and worth the visit

This place is great. 3 dollars a ticket and the drink and popcorn is like any other theater. But 20 dollars I get big popcorn with 1 refill and big drink free refill and 2 tickets. The only bad thing is you can tell it is a old theater. Seats are still good but not excellent.

Took my 3 year old there for her first movie. We loved it!!! Friendly staff, fresh popcorn, clean theaters and restrooms, awesome ticket prices, a few games and claw machines for the kids (it did make me nostalgic for the arcade that use to be across the hall when I was younger) no show was over crowded when we went. We all enjoyed ourselves and definitely plan on returning. Thank goodness these guys came in and gave the area something affordable and cool to do with families and friends.

For a $3.00 movie Im not expecting to much. Truthfully my popcorn had a funny smell like maybe funky butter but it didnt stop me from poking it in. The help has been pleasant on each of my maybe 3 visits.

Cant beat the price. The movies have already been out for a few weeks but worth the wait for the money you save.

Love being able to go to movies more often with these prices. I grew up coming to this theater when it was operated by Regal so its very nostalgic to return. Being able to bring my niece to the same place I went as a kid is so cool.

Until this theater reopened, my husband and I have been unable to take our kids to the theater because we simply could not afford the prices. After Legacy reopened we can now all go for $15 which includes tax (5 people). They have $5 kids combos (taxes already included) which includes a small drink, box of popcorn, and a candy of their choice. At the other theather we couldnt all go to the movies without spending $60 just in tickets. And the other theaters kids combo wasnt nearly as good for my kids, plus it would cost more. I am so excited to have this as an option again for family time. My kids loved it. Not to mention how great it was to be back in a theather I grew up going to. The staff is awesome and super friendly. The theater is clean. And the seats are just fine in my opinion. Cannot beat this place!

Its an old style theater that is basically flat but the sound system is pretty good. The screen in theater 6 has a big hole in it. Admission is only 3 dollars, concessions are average priced. Overall it is a good way to see a movie you may have missed in the bigger theaters

14 September 2018 - We evacuated to the area for hurricane Florence and found this place. Its an old building but clean and well maintained. Every town needs a cheap-seat theater like this. $3 for an old-new movie cant be beat. Took our family of five for just $15 bucks! If we lived here Im sure we would come all the time.

THEYVE UPDATED THE SEATING VERY COMFORTABLE

I love second run theaters and this is probably the best one ever. The staff is always so friendly and the theaters are clean. They have all the basics at the concession counter and some extra goodies like bottles of Starbucks etc. I take my family here all the time and my husband and I go on date night too.

New favorite movie theater. Reasonable price. Have not tried there popcorn.( typical movie popcorn) $3 movies what a deal.

It is extremely cheap! The facility may not be the best, but the price makes up for that. It is so cheap you wouldnt believe it if I told you. Movies come out a little bit slower but I like waiting for them and seeing them here because its cheaper and I love movies. Its a great place if you have a lot of kids to take your kids. It will not break the piggy bank.

The theatre is a little rundown from years of prior mismanagement. The current owner seems to be doing a great job. Movies are inexpensive and fairly new. Staff is friendly and attentive. I hope more people regularly use this theater so it can be restored a little.

$3/person..you get what you pay for. Seats are from the 90s and, apparently so is the speaker system. And God forbid it rains. Slight change in weather and the picture cuts out, which forces them to take out the DVD and put it back in. Then youre stuck sitting there while they skip scene by scene to get back to where it cut out. Over all a pleasant experience.

Its a quaint theater, with not the greatest seats, but is a theater I primarily go to now because of the cost and accessibility. If anyone is interested in seeing movies without the $10 cost per ticket this is a good option. Its the transition from expensive theater to home theater; you get to see movies before they come out on Blu-ray/DVD but after theyre out of theater, in a large format screen.

I love this theater because every movie is $3 all day long. however a few of the individual theaters have heating problems. I was told by the staff that the mall management has refused to repair this problem. someone needs to expedite this since it is winter

I went there and it was the most cheapest place [3.00] and the popcorn was so good and fresh the bathroom was clean and the movie theatre was nice and clean too and i will definitely come back.

The Staunton Mall is a seriously run down shopping experience. Multiple empty storefronts nicely compliment the crumbling infrastructure and potholed parking lot. The only real reason to come here is the Legacy. Every movie is $3 and for that price you really dont care if the movie isnt good or the seats arent as nice and dont look for stadium seating. What you get is a movie for $3.... Not a bad deal!

The Legacy is a welcome addition to Staunton as a wonderful venue for affordable movies. The theater has a nice layout and the fact that seating is level with the aisle walkways is a bonus for the mobility challenged. I throughly enjoyed the movie I saw and plan to enjoy other movies in the future as they appear in this excellent venue.

Very clean, the staff was very polite, and it was super cheap!Im not sure where the rumor came from that it was, freezing in the theater, but it certainly was NOT. My family and I were very comfortable, without our coats. Ill admit, theres a cool breeze from time to time, but it certainly was not, freezing.

The staff is amazing they help you carry things and they will help you get comfortable too its so amazing cant wait to go back today

Price is definitely great. Popcorn is still a bit expensive but really good. Still cheaper than regal though. Sound was not that great but this is a small theater so that is to be expected.

Went on opening day, staff was very friendly and helpful. They were working on the heat so it was miserabley cold. But I know they were aware of the issue and in process of just waiting on a part to come in. Look forward to returning and seeing another great movie!

Absolutely love this theater! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The popcorn was hot drinks were cold. My only conplaint is the lights didn’t turn on when the end credits were playing but hey! That’s what cell phone flash lights are for! ️The old one shut down as soon as I moved to staunton I got to go once! But this theater is awesome! Love the prices, doesn’t hurt to see movies $7.50 cheaper, later. It’s a little chilly but good reason to bring a blanket and watch a great movie! The combos are nearly half the price of Zeus and the tickets are MORE than half the price just gotta wait a little later to see the same good movies! Definitely will come here! Prices are excellent which attracted me there. Theater was not noticeably clean and the staff was not helpful at all. Will likely return due to price of tickets.

Tickets are cheap. Seats are ok. But hearing the sound from the movie in the next theater over the one you are watching is really distracting.

Nice, Small (But not cramped) Movie Theater that was so cheap that I was there the whole day watching all the movies!

Great price.... All mov ies and show times just $3!!!! However, the seats are very small. I couldnt get in the seat like normal. I had to sit on the very edge and try to wedge myself in it... Very uncomfortable. Also, the arm rests did not move thus adding to the problem.

Really enjoyed our movie!! Brought back memories of my teen years. Will definitely be back again.
