This park is small but has open view of puget sound starting with Seattle waterfront. It has grassland, two totem pole, and a gigantic metal sculpture depicting whale tail. While in the park, watch out for food scrapes, dead rats and needles, specially on the grassland. There is no restroom on site, and parking is on the road side or paid parking lots nearby.TIP - if you are visiting Pike Place market or Gum wall, visit this park for a walk with outstanding view of Puget Sound.

Beautiful, love this spot for a snack from Pike Place Market. Under construction at the moment and if youre not a local you may be taken back by the homeless activity. But, Beautiful and pretty well cared for. Always worth the sunset.

Beautiful view overlooking Puget Sound, but it is sad to see so many homeless people. They dont tend to bother people here though. It seems like more of a social gathering place which is nice. I wouldnt hang out too long after dark though since people are more likely to be inebriated and there isnt anyone around responsible for keeping order.

Such a great place to see the marina and be at the edge of seattle. Footsteps from pike place market. A great spot to unwind and enjoy the fresh sea air. Sit and watch the people go by. A few hippie types that frequent this park but it only adds flavor to the city. Great picture spot for those that are into photographing.

Beautiful relaxing spot to enjoy gorgeous views of the bay, the city and Mt. Rainier. Absolutely breathtaking views. Friendly people and the pigeons were pretty friendly too. We relaxed there this morning with coffee and liked it so much that we will probably go back for sunset. Definitely a quite beautiful place you should have on your to-do list when youre in Seattle. A must see when in Seattle!

This is the park facing the waterfront at the Pike place market. It is a nice place to enjoy your snack while basking in some sunshine and amazing views of the Olympic mountain ranges. Choose your place wisely. The only concern is that a few people (probably homeless) towards the end of the park sit smoking and sometimes might cause some disturbance.

Green space close to Pike Place Market with some sitting area. There is little shade and few seats are covered but looks like there are people living there. The park is located at the end of the pike place parking lot and has nice views of Puget Sound. The totem poles here are interesting.Ok if you want to have a leisurely piroshki while visiting Pike Place Market.

A beautiful Oceanside park. Despite the problems of homelessness seemingly increased despite the stay at home decrees! The sun was out. The chatter of happy and energetic people was a surprise that didnt disappoint! In addition to a cleaning crew keeping the area as garbage free as posible there was A hand sanitiIng station ( Thank you Seattle!). A very large Hand sanitizer dispenser was a great addition to the standard equipment at that station. Was even set up outside the honey buckets! A truly wonderful experience.

Part of Pike Place Market scene. Great views of the water front, harbor and Puget Sound. Busy with a interesting array of both locals and visitors. Great views of the waterfront....with that being said its a shame what this park has turned to. I would never bring my family here. The homeless have ruined this area. Wish the city could get control of messiness surrounding. Hopefully the city can clean up the area, with all the money Microsoft & Amazon spend, maybe they could help clean our local parks! When you go to parks in NY you dont see the problem with drugs....the city needs major clean up/to be more strict/laws. Last time I was down there, saw homeless passing around drugs and left immediately. I mean, just read all the reviews, I agree as a local. Everywhere I go, people mention it--- hopefully politicians will wake up in our region.

A small park with lots of people, although it was unusually warm and sunny the day I was there. A good number appeared to be homeless and a couple of them were yelling at each other, not very relaxing. It also seemed to be a popular light-em-spot for a few people who were sharing in small groups.
