Fabulous 1960s architecture with skylights and 9 Lanes

Not the most up to date facility, but good size pool and hours. Super affordable if you want to lap swim or go with kids. This has a safe haven of mine since being pregnant. Not over crowded from my experience.

Pool goes from 3 to ten feet. Small child splashed around with provided pool noodles and floaties (and parent) while (other) parent did cannonballs in deep end. No usable lockers, but no one messed with our stuff out on the bleachers. Good time. Recommend.

Size of aquatic space is large; plenty of room to swim without worrying that you might bump into someone. There is a slide that is sometimes placed in the deeper end of the pool, which makes the swimming more fun. There is also a pool basketball that can be fun also, especially when its not too busy.

This place is amazing, no problems...the staffs great. Classes are small so the focus on the kids! Theres even private lessons If you like. To many people to name that are great there so I wont single anyone out lol.

Thankful to have been able to use this facility.

Played on the tennis courts here. They are pretty well kept and inclosed so that is Nice. Always a lot of parking here.

Needed a swim, the staff were nice, not many people on a Wednesday afternoon. I was deeply disappointed that the lockers are not lockable, had to take all my stuff onto the pool deck, dripping wet. pool is only half size. water was warm, locker room was chilly.

This place is really diverse in culture and the pool is just fun to be In!

We love the staff here. My daughter has been taking lessons for 2 years and progressing well. The staff is friendly and makes sure rules are followed for safety. While there is no slide like some other pools, everyone, adult and child, has fun here. Its an older facility that used to belong to King County, but is now a non-profit (501c). Each year they update/renovate at least one part of the facility.

We brought our 31/2 year old twins for swim lessons. Though I think they mean well, the instructors dont appear to have much experience. My guys had a hard time getting in which isnt easy but the instructors would give up and work with someone else pretty much...instantly. The one time they had a good lesson I did all of the motivation. Maybe it helps that Im a school teacher and understand you have to motivate children, build relationship and keep at it but if Im going to do all the work. I might as well put on a swim suit and they can pay me. After the instructors grabbed a couple other kids, went all the way to the other side of the pool leaving my kids sitting by themselves, that was it. Left never to return. Maybe it will work better for you.

I have been swimming at Evergreen Swimming Pool for the last 20 years. I was a member of evergreen High School Swim Team and had done laps there for years.Im really upset that I bought a bundle of 20 visits at the pool on Groupon and NOW its was a complete waste of money......I broke my lower back 9 years ago, which requires that I stay active in the winters to keep my strong back muscles. That requires more passive exercises such as swimming. I was excited to go back to swimming at Evergreen at the end of the year. I tried to redeem my ticket before its expiration but found out the pool was closed at that time.i came by anyways and a gentleman working there at the front told me to come back after the first and he was very sure I could pick up my admissions for 20 visits then, considering that I didnt know it would be closed during the expiration date and I have a disability and am a student so I have many limitations....After coming back after the 1st, I came by the pool to discuss my now-expired coupon. Within less than 30 seconds of even stepping in, a person working there name Chelsea completely denied any possibility of a refund or redeeming any visits at the pool. She told me it was solely my responsibility to understand that I couldnt validate it at the date on the coupon and there was no possibility of a refund. Needless to day, Im kind of grateful that I will be going to a new pool now with much more understanding service but it saddens me that I am not returning to a pool that I grew up learning how to swim and building so many memories. I advise that in the future, the employees give more thoughtfulness, sensitivity and care. I had no solutions and left feeling helpless.

Clean, friendly staff, & communal swimming equipment (fins, pull buoys kick boards, etc). Would give 5 stars if they had secure lockers and a few more lap swim times. $5 to drop in. Worth checking out!

The staff make all the difference. The facility definitely needs an upgrade, but the pool is sufficient for learning. Always so many people there. It is good to see.

A very pleasant public swimming pool attached to nearby Evergreen High School in the Highline District, this venue offers several types of water aquatic classes and activities for everyone -- of all ages. However limited, this pool is affiliated with the City of Burien. So, residents can swim liberally for free --- with a discounted card offered by the local administration through the Parks & Recreation Dept.Times and hours are also limited -- so check your local listings for the months update. Otherwise a great alternative from the lakeside shores.

A a non-profit. We dont have much funding and we do the best we can with what we got. Sorry, but there is no grant money for new lockers and we just manage the building and dont own it. We cant renovate it, just upgrade. But, if you got a problem and talk with management, we will do our best to resolve your issue.

I was excited that a community pool was in my new neighborhood. I loved the pool in Lynnwood.The employee who showed me around said they dont get the New Years bump like most pools. She thought it was due to nobody knowing it was there. I later realized it was really because their hours of operation for lap swims do not work for people w/ bankers hour type jobs, or family dinners after work. Plus, the signs say dont leave valubles in the car. You cannot leave much in the No-Lock lockers. Things are no safer beside the pool when your head is under the water!It may be cheap, but it only works for a small section of the public. I was highly disappointed; only open one day before 7am!

Took my daughter here for swim lessons. Overall a good experience. You sign in at the desk and then enter the pool through the womens or mens locker rooms. They have bleachers to sit so you can watch your child spash in the pool.

Grand daughter has swimming lessons there

My experience with the instructors has been great i did tot/parent classes and they were really nice. I wish they would remodel.

They open less than a third of the pool for their public swim. So the 2 lanes allotted for the public are really crowded, and usually only 1-2 of the remaining 6 swim lanes have been in use by people doing laps. And I usually like the people here, but the last lifeguard on duty we had was horrible. My son has even taken lessons here. The classes are taught by teenagers with little to no experience, so we stopped coming.I keep trying, but overall my experiences at this pool have just been crummy.

Its a pretty old center but its nice and clean.

Well, Im so disappointed with this management I enrolled my son for mon, wed and sat lessons but the pool heater was broken, so they star cancel class by class and 2 of those cancel class day the call 20 minutes before the class start, seriously just 20 min before??? They already know the heart was broken why they didnt call me with more time. My husband has to eat lunch in the car just to pick my son up and take him to the class and this for nothing because when thay was in their way to the pool I called them to comeback home. And now they dont want to give me my money back the want give me credits in my account. I moving to another state with no plans to come back. So I wondering when can I use those credits

Although struggling at times, the pool has remained open and seems well-managed. This is an important pert of the school and community.
