This hotel has the old school building look on the outside but a fresh new up to date look on the inside. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs when we first arrived. Another great thing is the amazing views of the city. There was a food truck parked out front that had the best breakfast steak quesadilla with the best tasting salsa Ive ever had.. Enjoy Seattle

Mixed review. Facility is very nice, great location. However, this facility is a primary Worldmark location. You WILL be hounded relentlessly to attend a marketing meeting. They will not even wait for you to get to your room or relax from a local my drive. If you decline, the manager will be called and he will follow you into your elevator or hallway to try to convince you that attending is in your best interest. Not much of a vacation if you have to dodge the door keepers. Worldmark- let members enjoy their time and quit trying to upsell!

There is a giant construction site directly across the street from this hotel, which should be disclosed to people who book here. The noise is constant, including on Saturday. When I checked in, there were no rooms available on the side of the building away from the construction. In addition, people should be aware that this is a time-share operation which happens to rent some rooms as hotel rooms. There are few of the services one would expect from a large hotel (no restaurant, no housekeeping). The studio rooms are tiny, with murphy beds. And finally, there are concierges who greet guests immediately after registration and push their free breakfast or lunch plus pitch to buy into the timeshare operation. Theyre quite aggressive, but do take no for an answer.

I would give this 3.5 stars. Its not bad at all, but not alot really stands out. The building itself is very beautiful. Constructed in the 20s it is historic and elegant looking, inside and out. The furnishings are fine but nothing spectacular. There are era-appropriate paintings and decor but also fake flowers and more modern looking fixtures. I do like how the have the original door handles encased in glass next to each door, with the now familiar key card access. There is a pool table but also two columns that interfere with shots. There is a heated outdoor pool and hot tub but the surroundings are plain and sparsely decorated. They have vending machines, equipped with tiny bags of chips for $2 and movies you can rent for $3. Valet parking for $40.Its a nice place that could use some tweaking here and there.

1. This property is a time-share, but it appears on Expedia as a hotel. I was asked several times to attend a presentation about timeshares with WorldMark.2. The room was a small studio with a kitchenette. The pull-down double bed occupied most of the living room. The bathroom is so small there was no room to lay out toiletries.3. The location is close to downtown and Westlake shopping area. The price was a good value for the location.

This is our third year visiting the Camlin. The resort is an historical building and its rooms are quaint and small compared to other WorldMark hotels. Construction is happening all over Seattle at this time and the entrance to the Camlin is hampered because of this. The road in front of the Camlin is partially blocked because of the construction on the expanse of the Seattle Convention Center across the street.

They tried to sell my friend who booked our rooms into a timeshare and we almost had to pay extra because he reserved rooms for other people. I also lost a very sentimental item (watch) and knew exactly where it was left. When I called to reclaim this they brushed me off and directed me to their lostitem portal which never explained what happened to my watch. When I called and followed up for this, they sent me to a voicemail. This was without a doubt the worst hospitality experience Ive had. I also never write google reviews but this compelled me to.

In the heart of dowmtown, next to bus lines. I had a one bedroom for two adults. It was plenty of room for us. When he wanted to watch TV and I wanted to read, I could go into the bedroom for some quiet time. Bed and murphy bed are comfortable. I like medium firmness. The only issues you cant cook, no oven or range, just a toaster, micowave, and icebox.

I enjoyed staying here. The location is awesome. The room was great, not fancy at all but very functional. Not happy with treatment by worldmark staff both times, threatened me as a blackball effort, not to give me a good deal obviously but to make me feel guilty that I did not take their offer. Very rude, not about me as the customer, its all about money they have from you. I prefer they let me know Im wrong and make using them easier for me as getting quality properties for my travels has not been user friendly.

This is a great property and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. The location is great. However, there are some amenities that the Camlin does not include that are normal for a hotel of this caliber. Specifically, you must pay to use the WiFi, even though some online sites say it is free. This makes it a less ideal spot for business travel. Also the toiletries dont include shampoo and conditioner, just conditioning shampoo. Lastly, the view out front is mostly construction (with accompanying noise which of course is outside the hotels control). I would come back and stay for a holiday (as the staff was lovely and the room exceeded expectations) but not for a business trip.

...Update...After giving me an email address to contact them by I have been getting an undeliverable auto-response from their server. I suppose after losing our reservation not being able to get to them off the email address they provided me shouldnt surprise me. - 1 star.We are WorldMark owners. We booked a room for a night on bonus time so we didnt have to drive home after the Sounders game and then back the next day for work. This means we had to call in and actually talk to an agent to book. They told us we were good to go. Showed up for our stay, no reservation, completely sold out, no offer to help us. Matter of fact I was ignored after the desk clerk called corporate and found our reservation was lost. Thank goodness for Marriott rewards points. Got a room at the Renaissance (super nice!). Front desk heard my story and saw my status and we got an immediate upgrade to a suite, free parking, etc. Now that is how to treat a customer.

Update 7/13: Tried the email address they gave and it didnt work. Called them and they didnt get back to me. Emailed their corporate account and they told me to call them. Called them and they told me to email them. This review is not regarding a recent stay there, but rather the timeshare meeting there. We were offered a free 7 night stay with no restrictions by a sales rep from the company if we attended a meeting at the WorldMark by the corporate people who worked there. After the presentation, the sale efforts began. They wanted my SS # so they could run a credit check. Even after I told them my score, just so they could give me a price, they kept insisting on my SS#. Turns out the price was $75,000.We declined but they kept pushing us. Only after we complained about the first 2 sales people did the third one give us our hotel voucher. The voucher is only good for about 1 hotel in each state; miles away from a major city. This is a scam.

Excellent services, everyone is very friendly. Enjoy the atmosphere and the historical design of the building and the detail of the decor. You can read your paper and enjoy your drink at the cozy courtyard. Perfect location on the the 8th Ave. Close enough to walk to the Pike Market Place and other areas, but far enough from the busy areas. Two cinemas within blocks away. Various major cuisines within 15 min.. hey, itss walking distance to the Starbucks reserve roastery. The only thing is the street construction during our stay made a lot of noises. Since we went out early, it did not bother us too much. The bus station across the street keep their lights on very late. It was so bright you need to close the curtain to keep the lights away.

Worldmark Seattle is a wonderful, historic building with friendly and welcoming staff, if I could give them six stars I would. The staff exceeded my expectations with their welcoming presence and helpful attitudes. Conveniently located by several great seafood restaurants and stores, but far enough away from pikes place so there was good parking. The beds are extremely clean and well kept. Most parts of the hotel were updated but some things were kept vintage. The pool area never had more than 4 people in it which was really nice compared to other hotels Ive been to.

They give out earplugs because the area is too noisy to sleep. The night after I posted this review, a bulldozer worked until 3:31am, backing up beeping, pushing, backing up, etc. At 8:30am we now have a riveting/piledriving sound. You have trouble hearing the TV in your room. Sleep, even with the earplugs they give you, is impossible. Stay out of Seattle until 2022, when the Convention Center is finished.

STOP with the hard sell PLEASE!!! The day we want more points to buy, we will let you know on your time, NOT ours! Very unhappy about this. The Camlin was nice, the staff was super friendly. Historic building updated with nice modern finishes. I withheld a star due to some minor inconveniences. Lack of parking anywhere, ice machine in the basement, and smallish rooms. All of these are due to the age of the building and its location.
