Pricey rental, nice space but hard for folks to find that arent currently students. Parking not very convenient for older alumni attending event. Elevators are nice and signage inside the building is good. Bathrooms are not as nice as youd expect from recent remodels.

Very nice space. Especially appreciate the seating areas in multiple places. One such area on the second floor has a piano and we were fortunate enough to have a young lady playing it that was obviously an accomplished pianist. The various living room settings throughout the building make it a great place to hangout with friends!

Did you know they have a bowling alley in here? A pagliacci too! You can even get a haircut or hang out in the many student lounges. Wow they have everything!!! Be careful of the homeless people!

For students, but if you happen to be on UW CAMPUS, this is where lithe buzz is! They have everything! Relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, or grab a bite to eat and take in the sights! A great place to experience the culture and network. Service is great!

One of a building that has everything inside! They have Starbucks, games room, foods, and many others. If I’m not mistaken, it is open for public on certain time

Was a nice visit. Here on a college campus visit. Great service, had 4 ATM from banks which was nice to have. Bookstore was nice, lots of options as well as cafeteria. Was a nice day for college tour. Make sure you visit the Native American Long House that was a great highlight!

The HUB is one of the only UW buildings thats open to the public in the evenings. Its recently renovated interior has a lot more light, space, and dining options than it did in the early aughts. Come in the evenings for Starbucks coffee, vending machines, and a place to charge your laptop.

Nice place to visit and study in one of the quiet upstairs lounges or play the open use grand piano on the second floor. The veterans center is a social gem. Downstairs the food is both expensive and below mall food court quality on average, and the bookstore and salon are overpriced. I love the long term storage lockers in the basement, and the esports center is usually busy with gamers having fun.

Great place to hang out at UW. It has a ton of mini restaurants, a convenience store, a book store, and a barbers place. Its like a mini Mall in itself, except shopping places. People can work and hang around on any of the floors. Theres plenty of space.

Ableist, Ableist, Ableist! Thats the only way I can describe the staff here, they have absolutely NO training on how to deal with mentally disabled guests and would rather discriminate by barring guests with mental issues for disorderly conduct. Disgusting.

The HUB is amazing. If you need a place on campus to hang out, get a bite, or connect with friends, this is the place. Lots of students though, so lines immediately after class can be long.

Nice place for quick bite. Recommend the 5 dollar deals at the various vendors, like the grilled cheese and tomato soup. My favorite is the soup and salad bar. Decent amount of seating throughout the building, while entertainment is at the bottom level and good for having a relaxing and fun time.

It is what it is. Nice studying and hanging out space if you dont mind the crowds. If you need to study in peace, go to a library. Essentially a central-ish in between classes spot to wait. Everything offered by the HUB can be had better elsewhere. Go to the Ave for food instead if you have time.

We went to the bowling alley. HUB bowling alley is such a great family fun activity. Lanes are getting a little work out though on the ball returns... So wasted a good bit of time on that. If that wasnt the case itd be a 4 star place...as you gotta know going in its not intending to be a five star top flite bowling establishment... Its a Student Union. .

The Husky Union Building, or HUB, is a fantastic and versatile building with a cornucopia of services and activities. Want to go bowling? Check! Need to get your bike fixed? Check! Hungry for pizza, teriyaki, or a burger? Check, check and check! Student groups meet here. Conferences and concerts. There is literally so much going on in this building that it would take an encyclopedia to contain it all. Relationships are formed and broken in this building. Even entomologists can come to study the insects lurking in the corners. All this and you can also buy a pack of gum! Come to the HUB, the center of it all!

In all the time I attended UW, I never heard thus building call: Husky Union Building. Everyone knows it as the HUB; sometimes acronyms are better. The HUB is truly the center of the campus life. The food in the cafeteria was never the best, but adequate. I’m glad the remodel fixed the adequate food problem.

Food is good, but also pricey. Theyve got a ravenous time-crunched audience and they know it. Seating can be hard to come by around lunch time and it gets *really loud* when its full. The entire building is clean, well maintained, the bathrooms are lovely (only the downstairs ones have paper towels, btw), and loads of busses run right outside its doors.Oh yeah, and Starbucks. Theres a Starbucks in there, but the line gets pretty long if you time it wrong.

Review №72

The HUB isnt bad, but I will say that its hard to navigate and that the food options are not great. If youre vegetarian, good luck! Theres almost nothing to eat except pizza. Vegan? The HUB isnt somewhere you want to be if youre hungry. In terms of things to do, I like bowling and the games that they have downstairs, if you dont factor in the price, you can find a few things to do here. The event rooms are awesome and usually events are organized really well. And finally its not somewhere I want to be to do homework. Hope this was helpful!

This one star is for HFS related part of the building.I would like to offer my sincere gratitude towards HFS for their ultimately brilliant idea of replacing subway. This Platinum move reduced traffic jam in that area by 100% now at 1:44PM, bringing fresher air and more legroom to stretch. Now every time I am forced to go to the hub, I feel like Im in business class.UW HFS, be whats worst.
