Compare to other community centers in West Seattle Highpoint is my least favorite.I’m taking into account how friendly the staff including the supervisor is and uniformed they are. I was able to get more accurate information about city wide programs, scholarships and cost grin other community centers on several occasions. Alki and Hiawatha have a much better feel, so even though Highpoint is close to our house, we often choose to sign up for classes elsewhere.Good people left, there must be a reason.Often times we sign up for classes and they get cancelled due to not enough interest.Old school coach Hopp really shouldnt coach kids.I am giving two stars. One for an excellent piano teacher Nancy and Johnny (I believe hes an athletic supervisor). And one star is for long hours of operation. The interior could use an update, but I imagine that the budget is tight and a community center this far south isnt a priority for the city of Seattle Parks and Recs.:-(
