Paid $260 for VIP and these waitresses only serve for the bottle to open and close the lock box. They dont serve any other drinks. They dont tell you. Then you have to go up to the bar for any other drinks beyond your bottle. They require mandatory gratuity of 30% but dont work for it and ask for up front. Then when you ask for service you have to find the waitress to unlock your bottle you paid over $200 for! They never told us when the bottle was empty. They took the bottle and didnt say anything. We only had 5 people drinking and the waitress only came twice. Seems convenient for them to take a half full bottle and then tell us we drank it.When it came to asking for a manager. I had to wait for over 20 minutes, then we I went to ask the lead waitress where her manager was, they threatened to kick me out. They were rude and unreasonable. The only person who was nice was the bartender and the security. This place is s joke!

Drinks, music and atmosphere are great. I usually love coming to Box House. But my last visit there left a bad taste in my mouth at how their security team is treated by some guy on their staff named Mark. From what I understand he wasnt a superior of any kind. But either way, he was completely unprofessional and rude to their security team; one lady in particular who was helping me sort out which entrance to re-enter at. He was yelling and roasting her on the sidewalk outside in front of so many people and never let her get a word in. It was painful to watch him be so unnecessarily aggressive towards her when all she was being was kind to me. I couldnt believe that he was allowed to talk to anyone like that. Definite ethics issue that needs correcting. The last thing I want to see is mistreatment of anyone when Im going out somewhere to have fun. Theres nothing fun about watching someone be disrespectful. It was sad to see. I hope that lady guard that helped me gets a fat raise for dealing with such a monster on her team.

Latin nights are good the djs are really good. But it does get really crowded so it is hard to dance. They should consider opening the 2nd floor to just a 2nd dance floor and not only VIP. FIGHTS tend to happen but its usually with the unmature guys

Box house gets very crowded on Seahawks game days but is a lot of fun and has a great atmosphere. Cool upstairs area overlooking the bar, great time before games.

Cool little joint within walking distance of the stadiums. Great live music post-Sounders playoff game with dancing room. Bartender was a cool cat and enjoyed our candy selection we offered up. TVs for sports, overall a good ambience to drink and still watch some sports action. Would definitely go back. Unsure on food or overall pricing of things....waaaay too inebriated to recall.

I had the absolute worst time there, the cover was 20, which is a ripoff, then I get in and my girl and I pay 10 dollars to walk upstairs, these men kept asking us what table we have and us not knowing what they were talking about, to me getting pushed out my two women who worked there and the regulars after paying 50 bucks because I didn’t have a “braclet”I had to hold my anger so much and talk to the security and finally they let me back in.Still this was completely the worse I’ve ever been treated at any establishment in Seattle.

Horrible place. Arrived at 1:05am they said it was $20(ridiculously high never been to a club that charged more than $15 admission fee) I paid and the other girl stamped my arm. Then they said they closed at 1:45am. So I was like Oh thats in 40min I changed my mind can I get my $20 back its not worth it for 40min and the girl was really rude to me and said they cant refund after they give the stamp. And so I said But I havent steped foot in the club yet, I can erase the stamp in front of you to show Im not planning on trying to come in later) and she continued to belittle me and say she couldnt give me back the money. I remained calm and with a soft neutral voice and asked Is there like a manager I can please talk to? And she responded with an even more rude tone and said I-AM-THE-MANAGER! . I have never felt so disrespected like that in my life. Horrible experience being the first time I had ever been to Boxhouse. I came because it was a friends birthday and I wanted to say happy birthday. I ended up going in and said happy birthday and I left because I felt so bad I did not want to be there anymore. Boxhouse you have disappointed me so bad. I dont recommend this place to anyone at all. Who treats customers like that?...P.S. Went here during their Saturday Latin night. Far too crowded. You could barely move around. It was a struggle to even walk through the bar to get to the bathrooom. There was also a cover charge that didnt feel worth it.

Let start of by saying this due to (new) mad management Ive known the staff of this location to be specific for years .. and I have never been treated like this before I was out with some of my friends last night and the new manager/management pulled us aside and told us that somebody had complained about not liking one of my friends and that they didnt want her there so I said “ so are you kicking us out ? “ he said No .... you are more than welcome to stay but Im just letting you know . “ We said we weren’t there to cause any problems & just here to have fun and we are leaving in 30 minutes anyway somewhere else . He then said OK .. we went back inside minded our own business I orderd some drinks for my friends very politely .. and the bartender ignored me she then instead asked the other bartender to serve my drinks and she did . The first bartender refused to give me service because she went & told Security and said that my friend was being disrespectful mind you she hadnt even order anything I did .. then the guy came up to my friend and grabbed her by the arm and told her that she had to go ! We then went outside we talked to the security and they realized it was a misunderstanding we made it clear and one of the DJs said no they are fine they can come back inside . So we came inside minding our own business again & we are having a conversation with some of our friends and the security came again and said no you are not allowed here you need to go . My friend asks why ? what did I do I dont understand whats going on ?? and he said I dont know but youre not allowed here. He was so rude grabbed her by her arm and Forced her outside !! At that point I lost it because youre not going to kick somebody out especially when theyve done nothing wrong because just because somebody else here doesnt like her !! So then by This point security grabbed all of us and told us you are not allowed to go in here anymore !! long story Short Business and personal shouldnt come in the place Of work . I know this place is ran by new management but NO ONE should be treated that way when your out just trying to have fun with friends !Everyone outside kept asking us wait why are you guys leaving my friends were Mad i will never go To BOX HOUSE after what happened last night .I also dont want to say any names because I know a lot of the people that go there have nothing to do with what happened . If you keep running your business like this you will lose a lot of your customers ..... side note :there restrooms are disgusting its such a small space for a club it gets over capacity and there customer service is no good along with their bar Food dont order it its cold

Get padded down and charged $15 @ the door. Once youre in you gotta fight like hell to get a drink. Wanna buy a few shots and some drinks for your friends? Your looking at around $200. Bathrooms have no doors and they are nasty. If your car is parked in a timed spot and you want to go pay for more time you gotta go stand back in line to get in. This club is great. One of the best places in town for Latino night. Great mix of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and much more... You can not miss it.

On Saturday latin nights it always get super packed. Im surprised they dont have a cap for safety reasons. You can hardly dance without bumping into anyone who is around you. the music is pretty good compared to other places for latin. Ladies free before 11pm, 5 after and 10 for guys. Dont think Ill be going soon for how crazy packed it gets unless I hear they open the basement which has more space and is cooler.

We reserved a table a month before halloween. when we arrived for our VIP access, we waited in line for 30 minutes. we then waited at the VIP bar for another 25 minutes. the bartenders were horrible! three working, only one taking drink orders. the others were talking to each other and texting on their phones. when we finally got our drinks, someone stole our reserved table. we got management involved, they lost their master sheet of seating arangements. another hour and a half goes past before we finally get the table we were promised (and paid for). the champagne we were also promised and paid for didnt arrive (although they did finally give us $40 back for it). the bar was way over capacity. the staff were short and rude and obviously not having a good time. i will never return here ever again.
