Seattle Talent has been such an awesome experience! I booked my first EVER job (commercial) after only working with the agency for a week! ONE WEEK. OMG I cant believe it. All I can say is that everything happens for a reason and you HAVE to trust the process. Its a two way street, Seattle Talent can open so many doors but you also have to be prepared and willing to start working. Cant wait for many more opportunities up ahead :)

This company is a scam! Do NOT invest money here the director of placement told me because I couldn’t go to a convention (out of my own pocket) that I would just have to look elsewhere in my own town after spending thousands of dollars that the never refunded! Never responded back about using photographers for new head shots either. If they use their own photographer and you can’t choose who you want that MEANS SCAM! Please do not give them money REAL agencies will PAY YOU for work, google scam auditions too it’s right there. Sorry I ever applied here and my aunt who passed away who spentthousands of dollars here, hopeful on this agency to make all of our dreams come true. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Also, your Facebook is WRONG real business’ would let people comment and message! Screw all of you!

This company, Seattle Talent is horrible, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. You’ll first have to pay $500.00 for their unprofessional and unorganized trainer for lessons you can learn on YouTube. The sales rep. I got was Aaron Raj and Diane Wallace; it was like working with a “fake person” who only will say things for a sale. Even if you turn them down they’ll force a sale, and won’t take “no,” for an answer. I was scammed in to joining their “poop-like” service. Also they’re unwilling to reschedule and things have to be done on their time even if you are paying them. I’d say run as far away from this company as possible. If you’re really talented OR have “the look,” look in to ACTUAL agencies in LA. Joining Seattle Talent was a costly lesson learned on my part.

DO NOT DO IT. Agencies like this like to ask for money upfront meaning they will not work as hard to get their client to a real agent. Real agencies get paid when their client gets paid, that’s what makes them work so hard for their client. Real agencies also do not brag or show all the celebrities they’ve put in business

(Warning: LONG READ)I am absolutely grateful to call Seattle Talent my agency! I signed with them 3 weeks ago and during my FIRST WEEK with them I booked a paid modeling gig. Ive also had two other modeling opportunities come my way (unfortunately had to turn them down due to work). Oh and this week I submitted for a T-Mobile commercial. Did I mention I signed with them 3 weeks ago?!I think a lot of people simply misunderstand how this all works. An agent is not supposed to pay for your training or pay to get your headshots done. As a matter of fact theyre not supposed to pay for anything!! An agent has the contacts, the network and the connections to get you in front of people in the show business. THATS IT. The rest is on you!One simply cannot walk into a top agency with ZERO experience and expect to be put to work... What do you actually have to show? An actors headshot is the key to their success! Without one you cannot be submitted for jobs and you wont be taken seriously!! When you want to become a professional at anything you have to put in the time and money to invest in yourself! Does a doctor, lawyer, beautician, teacher etc. not have to invest thousands to obtain a license or degree? Exactly! In ANY industry you have to put in the time and money to be taken seriously. And even then work isnt guaranteed. The same goes for show business!Seattle Talent has not asked me for a dime! I came to my audition prepared with a professional 8x10 headshot (shoutout to @abmphotography) as well as recent commercial training (thank you Donise Hardy). And yes, I paid SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars for my headshots and then a FEW HUNDRED MORE for training. In my opinion Seattle Talent makes it extremely easy for those who have absolutely no experience to get headshots done through their photographer and get training through their people. I mean... have you seen how far MANY of their clients have gone in their careers through Seattle Talents development? And yes, they brag about their talent. Rightfully so! What agency wouldnt want to brag about their talent who have graced the covers of magazines, have been on big TV networks and national commercials? When I heard this I was INSPIRED and MOTIVATED to reach that level of success through them as well. At the end of the day its all about perspective. If you expect to get a handout and not come out of pocket at some point in your acting/modeling career, you either have no idea how this industry works and wont get very far or maybe youre just in the wrong place.Side note: The prices at which Seattle Talent offers headshots and training are very similar to what I paid finding my own photographer and training in Texas. The cost of living is a lot cheaper in Texas which tells me these are standard prices for quality photos/training. Also, if youre new to show business I suggest checking out Wendy Alane Wright on YouTube to learn more about acting, agencies, and more. With peace and love,Akisha

Gave David 2 grand a year ago for workshops that were never available to take for 9 months. The day of, David said he had a modeling gig at New Day t.v show for my 6 yr old son, and seahawk kids thing. .. neither happened. And 99 % of emails for auditions were not for my sons age bracket. Have asked for a refund on the classes and am being ignored now. Finally got one paid gig on hi ho kids months ago and have not received our check still from David. Ive been with Seattle Talent since 2015 and my time with them has been great so far. My expectations were pretty minor going in because I just wanted the experience and to see whether or not I had potential to land a few side gigs. The process was genuine to say the least. It started with an introduction, a one-one-conversation, a video audition and a day or so later, I signed with an agreement to attend an acting boot camp for $500. In my opinion it was worth it to get warmed up and to get some general tips on how to carry yourself on set. It’s also a nice way to meet other people within the agency as well and to make new friends.Since then, Ive had work with the Washington State Lottery, T-mobile, Zulily, and multiple Microsoft campaigns -- I was even blessed with a week long shoot in Iceland last year that I will never forget! All in all, Seattle Talent is a nice place to start. There’s opportunity to meet scouts from LA every few months -- you’ll get notified when they are coming, so it’s really up to you if you want to go that route and try to get more exposure. Other than that, just enjoy it as a second gig like me. I have been scammed before by a different agency back in 2000 and if it weren’t for that unfortunate experience I probably would’ve gotten back into the industry sooner. Thankfully, Seattle Talent has given me another shot to try again.

They are hardly any help. They pick favourites and only push them on their social media. So if your not their favourite actor/singer/model then even though you spent the same amount of money as all the other people, you wont get nearly as much exposure. Basically they take your money and put it towards other people they think are going to be better. Suggestion, dont waste your money, try to grow yourself on social media and then get picked up by a REAL agency through that. All the good reviews are by people who were their favourites. There are tons of people who go there and you never hear anything about.

I had a wonderful time at one of Seattle Talents open calls. It took place in their offices downtown, and everyone was friendly, professional and quick. We heard David speak about what they do and what we needed to be/do as Talent before they select us for their agency. It was all the same stuff, that any agency does. If they like you and you have experience, they put you out to auditions right away. If youre new, or they see potential, they will recommend training and classes which will give you professional materials you need to WORK in acting/modeling. They all handed out fliers about the agency and it had prices for packages clearly marked. Theyre actually a great deal if youre just starting out, because its a short cut, instead of googling and wandering around trying to meet the right photographers (which you can totally do before trying to find an agent.) they were not selling anything, nor was any false hope being promised. They actually said most wouldnt be taken, but were welcome to try again next time. The people who went to open calls and left bad reviews on here, obviously do not understand the process of getting an agent, and need to work on their portfolios and headshots, else ST would not have tried to sell them the starter packages. If they didnt see potential, they wouldnt even offer those.

My son has been a part of Seattle Talent since fall of 2017 and it has been a wonderful experience. You see, my son is autistic and has always had self esteem issues but has always been proud of his vocal and acting abilities. We started classes at Seattle Talent because acting and singing have always been his passion. Hence, instead of spending money on athletics, we chose to spend for acting classes. We booked a job within the first few months and my son has enjoyed classes for commercial acting, improv, and most recently vocals. He has always wanted to be a voice actor and the staff at Seattle Talent is constantly sending audition opportunities. Each Saturday the staff is always in the office with a smile when he comes for his classes, they remember my sons name, and they love hearing about his accomplishments not only through their efforts but his personal efforts at school with choir and theatre. His confidence has improved so much and he continues to grow both socially, and with his ability to perform. We know he might not ever be that famous kid in the commercials, but he will always be the amazing kid we are so proud of and Seattle Talent allows him to shine!

Theyre not even popular! check out their Instagram @seattletalent they only get like 150-200 likes, I get more than that... how do you expect to get known from a company that no one knows about? Dont get fooled because their company has the name talent in it. and I know you must be trying to convince yourself saying oh but the contract says they will be working with you and there will be agents blah blah blah YES they will work with you as in give u cheap acting lessons and yes lol agents will come and see you, but they will just come and SEE you, they really dont have to contract anyone, and Seattle talent doesnt get sued because they dont guarantee you will get contracted by an agent or get a job whatsoever. Theyre manipulative thats why their business has been around for so long. They compliment you and your outfit a lot and make you feel so special, theyre better at lying than my ex lol. So unlike popular belief, I really dont think Seattle Talent is a scam. They are misleading yes, but a scam, no. The whole process is that you first apply online and they will call you to schedule an audition. You go to the audition which will usually be held in some sort of hotel. You will be expected to bring a headshot and you will fill out a form and get a script. The scripts are just short ads usually about a paragraph long for various things (I read for Marshals jeans). You arent expected to memorize it but it looks better if you do. They will give you a brief introduction and then go on to tell you all of the success stories of their past clients. After that you will line up and audition with your ad one at a time. Once you do that you are free to leave. But if they like you, you will be expected to come back the following day for an interview. If you are accepted into there program then you have the opportunity to take a lot of workshops over the course of 6 weeks and at the end there will be a showcase in which you will perform for agents from LA and New York. But this is where most people are saying its misleading. They dont tell you the pricing, ever. They get you all hyped up only to hand you a pamphlet at the end of the day saying each class is about $1,000-5,000 and after you have to fly out to LA to meet with agents. So if you are willing to do that, then yeah, I guess it is a good way to get hooked up with agencies, but for the average joe, you wont just have $5,000 to give away for classes.

Seattle Talent is NOT an Agency they are more like a modeling school, WHICH IS NOT REQUIRED IF YOU WANT TO MODEL OR ACT! All youre paying for is classes they offer to take your money. After the program your on your own. NOTE: YOU SHOULD NEVER PAY TO BE REPRESENTED ANYWHERE! Seattle Talent will charge you $500 for the classes and $400+ for photos a total of $900+, just know that professional photos usually cost $50-$100 at most and if an agency really wants you THEY pay for your pictures or at least a portion of it. Seattle Talent is an astounding place for children or any talented person trying to break through into the acting model and talent industry or someone who just needs confidence.. My son has been an active member of this talent agency for numerous amounts of years. We have had some of the best experiences. We started out with a workshop of commercial print my son had such fun learning commercials and memorizing lines graduating to fashion model and print where at the end of this workshop they get to do their own little photo shoot and get the photos. He has auditioned for numerous agencys and even received and honorable mention which means that if we were in the vicinity of LA they would have allowed him to audition again. He has done a few jobs with Zulily. Seattle talent has a great reputation of doing as they say. When I fell ill they were still their to work with my family so that my son could do his workshops. I was emailing them back and forth and received quick replies back. If I had a question and I needed some assistance there was always a lovely receptionist to answer the phone and find the correct person to answer my question or if they didnt know the answer they would take my number and find someone who could assist me and I would receive a prompt phone call back. David is an amazing representative for my son and I would not have chosen anyone but the best, The whole staff team at Seattle Talent is so helpful and willing to go that extra mile for you. Anyone that you get the opportunity to work with you will not regret it, I am truly grateful for Seattle Talent who travels all around to help those who want to break through into the industry or just give a kid back his confidence. They recently heard that my son was hit by a car and reached out to me to help this child get his confidence back from the road rash that is on his face and black eyes that he has. Thank you David and the wonderful team that you work with to encourage all to follow their dreams and give hope when you feel hope is lost. Dont just go off my review take that extra step walk in the door and speak to some of them yourself do your research and look at their Instagram page Facebook it will show you the bookings that have their new talent they represent and also the agencies that are picking up the amazing talent that they have helped nurtured. If one small town boy who lost his confidence can gain it back from them then that should speak volumes of who they are.

They simply and plainly want money up front. If you do your research you will quickly find out that this is not an industry standard and actual agencies like TCM and SMG spell out on their sites that they get a commission for the work a model gets, not upfront for workshops or classes. They sell a false hope and I dont understand how people can do this for a living. If they marketed themselves as a school it would be different, errr... honest. Not cool.

Immediately there after she was eligible for auditions that the classes prepared her for. She has had tremendous success! She landed a modeling job twice with Microsoft, has modeling many many times with Zulily, has been a main Character in 2 different short Films for the Seattle Film Festivals, and did the IMTA in New York. At IMTA she landed management with MMG and came out as a Guest Star to James Spader on Black List!! She is currently being represented by Big Fish locally here in the PNW and Seattle Artist Agency. I took my daughter to this talent agency for fun tonight in seattle because shes been begging me to go sing for them after hearing an ad on the radio. shes been talking about it all week. they check us in and proceed to hand me paperwork to fill out. henry my 3 month old has been crying because hes hungry so i say i have to feed him before filling it out. he responds with no not in here, the best place for you is the bathroom. uhhh...is it? now ive seen youtube vids of this happening and it enrages me. i proceeded to ask where a good place would be as i would not be feeding my child in the bathroom. he told me its inappropriate because children come in and out of their establishment and its against policy to allow me to feed my son anywhere with windows on that entire buildong floor. i was so caught off gaurd i literally took a step back. i asked him if he would like to eat his dinner on a toilet in the bathroom. at this point im pissed. i would have sat down right there in front of him and fed my son had it not been for chloes excitement. i told him i clearly had a blanket to cover up and that there was nothing inappropriate about feeding my son. He continued to tell me i was not welcome to feed my son anywhere on their floor and said i should leave if i was to feed him. there were 10 open chairs, many facing away from others. 3 people were in the room, all women. no one said a thing. i was shaking with anger and hurt and frustration. he once again says i should head to the bathroom if i wanted to feed my son.i said no, this is rediculus. i began to walk out. finally another office manager ( woman) heard what was going on and apologized profusely telling me i could use her office. Honestly i have been waiting for this to happen to me at some point, but never did i realize how this would make me feel. Of all the acceptance and movements of womens rights etc..i was totally apalled. i cried for 20 mins as i fed him in her office and tried pulling myself together so chloe could still have fun and enjoy her audition. needless to say we will NOT be returning. this is against the law with the womens breastfeeding law. this cannot happen to someone again. theu should be emberassed.

We love Seattle Talent and the Management team is incredibly professional yet like a family. They genuinely look out for your best interest and help create avenues towards modeling or acting. The classes they offer are great an abundant. My son had an audition with Seattle Talent which they loved him and we then proceeded to choose a program so he could learn about Commercial, TV and Film acting. He then went to classes for about 6 weeks every Sunday with a coach in our town. At the end of the 6-8 weeks he got a chance to perform a monologue he had been working on in his classes in front of an agent from LA and a Representative for IMTA International Model and Talent Association. He did well and the Agent actually gave him a call back to inform him they would like to represent him. We waited on the offer as we knew he had more opportunities ahead to meet more Agents and Managers at auditions in Seattle. The representative from IMTA also selected him to be a part of a select team to go to NYC with IMTA so he prepared for this for six months, taking classes in Seattle and Seattle Talent arranged a photo shoot to get head shots and five different looks. The photo shoot and hair and makeup that was provided was all professional and fun. The pictures are very professional and you can keep a disc to use for prints and stock cards to give to agents and managers. In the summer of 2015 my son and I went to IMTA in NY where we were not super sure of how it would be and if he would do well. We both loved every minute of our experience at IMTA in the Hilton Midtown. It was super professional and big. Big stage, big crowd, big performances, big fashion shows, great first day prep and training, auditions and modeling runway events and seminars taking place all week ending in a fun awards dance party and the final day getting a change to meet the agents and managers who are interested in my son and the finally gala night with a great meal, wonderful service and the final big awards. My son ended up winning the Most Sough After Male Talent, Male Junior Actor of the year and had 30 call backs from Managers and Agents. We had the most amazing experience really of a lifetime with our Seattle Talent Team which included other talents and models as well as the hair and makeup team and management team. The management team were professional, organized and always available to us. They even helped pick out the right clothes for the various runway modeling shows and were just there for us. They provided auditions just for the Seattle Talent team up in the Seattle Talent room so we had more opportunities to have our kids be seen performing a monologue or short script. They Management team even help coordinate private meetings for the managers and agents to meet with sought out talents individually. We just loved this whole experience! We went to LA a week later and signed with a prestigious top youth talent Agency as well an incredible manager. My son has been getting scripts and auditions constantly and we chose to stay in our home town for the first few months and to send in self tapes for the auditions. Two of our other friends from IMTA with Seattle Talent are in LA for a few months to be seen by casting managers and have more opportunities and have already booked commercials.Seattle Talent helped us the whole way communicating back and forth about representation, giving us advice, sharing suggestions and feedback of what is best for our family. Seattle Talent and IMTA are great avenues to learn about modeling and acting, get the training and coaching, get experience, have opportunities to audition for Agent and Managers in your hometown and in Seattle. Seattle Talent is like a school that provide opportunities but they go further than that they are a personal management team who support your actor/model to achieve their dreams. They really are rooting for you and cheering you on the whole way! Im so glad we chose Seattle Talent. Its been a great journey so far and we love the management team like our won family.

I audition for it and they told me that i will have to play $500 to $4,900 if they really think if someone is very talented they wouldn’t have them pay for anything it is definitely a Scam

Do some research on this outfit before you consider giving them any money. Some very quick searching uncovers a history of questionable (at best) business practices. This is a classic bait and switch scam: the guise of auditioning for talent scouts that becomes a hard sale for expensive lessons. Unfortunately we got hooked here. In hours we regretted this decision and tried to get a refund (you can void anything in 24 hours right? Cars, travel, etc...), but discovered that their contract lets them NOT fully refund you. Of course we had an upset daughter too, who was dazzled by being picked from her audition but not realizing that she was picked like everyone else to spend thousands on classes -- not get signed by a talent company. Do your research.
