We had a blast! The instructor was great and we did much better than we anticipated. It was fun painting with strangers and singing to the hits of the 80a and 90s. The draw back is they really push you to drink (and its pricey but generous pours) and you dont have much room. Would definitely go again.

I hadnt painted probably since middle school, but the instructions and example picture were helpful enough that I ended up with something I dont hate! The addition of alcohol and a gym/white parents dance party playlist completed the experience. A great activity for friends, a first date or a fiftieth.

Enjoyed myself thoroughly..........there were adequate supplies.....the instructor was friendly and easy to follow....you can also get mimosas from the bar and there is a bathroom for washing up.....definitely a fun and low-pressure way to explore your creative side. Will definitely recommend

I cannot stress how terrible I am at all art but I didnt do half-bad here! (I also didnt do great either but it went as well as it possibly could, lol.) I went with a work group that our company paid for so I cant speak to the cost of it but I can guarantee a great time! The staff were so nice and helpful, there were several drink options including non-alcoholic options, and the playlist for the event was a ton of fun. It took us about 2 hours in total and we had a blast. I highly recommend this!

Obviously I frequent Canvas on a regular basis. I love their space, the instructors, the 90s music, wine, and of course... the paintings!

Canvas is a fun night out with friends, or a perfect date night. Right near the Fremont bridge, it is basically a class on how to paint a specific painting, but you always have the option to pretty much paint whatever you want. The teacher walks you through every step which is wonderful, and there is a bar for you to drink while you paint so the night turns into a wonderful mix of Pablo Picassos

We arrived and there were no paint brushes out for us to use. The class was from 2-4 pm and it really felt rushed to be honest. The instructor have minimal instruction on the example canvus up front. However she has another canvus to the side that she painted and it was not the same colors or design she taught. It looked much better and the colors were not as bright. This particular location felt very small and squished.

Fun, but $90 bucks for two people and then have to buy drinks? Not worth the hour and a half.

It was a great way to spend a Friday night . We have the (attempted) artwork hanging at our apartment. Drink was expensive but decent size pours (as others have noted)

Fun place, especially with a group. They have a guide who talks you through which steps of the painting to do when so you are not on your own! Good music. Wish you could BYOB because the drinks are a little pricey.

Wow! This was my first time doing Paint & Sip and I absolutely LOVED it. Canvas is pretty easy to get to (right in Fremont by the bridge). But keep in mind parking is very difficult due to the area. If you can, get to your class early so you can have time to park. And although my friend and I were a wee bit late to our class they were friendly and were able to catch us up. Most of the paintings you create are fairly simple - no more than a few steps - and the teacher is really helpful and fun! The painting is broken up step by step and between the teachers instructions you get to buy drinks and listen to music. In the end I was super pleased with how mine turned out. Yes there will be people with better painting and worse paintings than yours - but who cares! Its a chance to express yourself and have fun with friends.I definitely recommend this for a birthday party/anniversary/ or just hanging out.

The host here is great. They play great music while you paint. It is a little bit on the pricier side. But the overall experience is amazing!

I had fun painting, but they charged me a second time (!) for the same session (!) More than a week apart (!). Thankfully I noticed, but when I called in, the owner did not seem to care at all and apparently this is something that happens every so often, and she is fine with it. I wouldnt use their online system to buy tickets.

Ive been here twice and had such a good time both times. The paintings arent too complicated to do, easy to follow along with, and in the end they look more impressive than you may expect! I mostly follow along with the instructor, but take some creative liberties at the end on some details. Youre welcome to just come paint whatever you feel like, if youd prefer. They have specials on beer & wine & the playlist while you paint is always fun.

Ive been to the CANVAS Kirkland studio for a corporate team event and thought it would be fun to try out their Seattle studio. its smaller than their Kirkland studio, but its totally Fremont. Fun, and a little funky.Staff was just as friendly as Kirkland and we had a great time. Fantastic music and $4.00 beer special! Check out their house wine by the bottle - its a great deal.

I like to get a Groupon and alone to paint and sip. Its fun to paint but its also fun to see who else goes to these things - first dates, anniversary celebration, birthday parties, etc. They do a nice job of instructing how to paint that evenings picture, some are more challenging than others in my opinion. Take your time, have fun, dont compare your painting to others! Every artist has their own unique style and perception (example: Picassos version of the painting would be much different, as would Monets or Renoirs).

It was fun for a night out with the girls. Parking & traffic were a nightmare, cant say that I would want to do it again just because of the logistics getting there. The staff was great though and we left with a fun painting. For the cost involved, it seems like one beverage should be included.

Went here with some friends of mine that I was visiting. Not really an artist and never done anything like this before but actually had a great time! The instructor was fun and had good tunes playing the whole time which makes it a really fun relaxed atmosphere to try out something new. Just a heads up, they dont let you bring your own wine which is a little disappointing. They have drinks you can purchase there but was a little overpriced I think. Cheapest bottle of red wine they had was like $22. Like I said tho, had a great time and Id go back.

We had such a great time painting at CANVAS paint.sip.studio - the Seattle-Fremont location! Weve painted at both of their locations and had a blast at each. Seattle is their smaller studio and Kirkland their largest. Fun owners - Laura and David - are great to talk to, too!

Well... when you go to register dont expect critical information on the registration page. I literally had paid for an event, and only when I received an email afterwards confirming the transaction was it mentioned that the venue and event service is 21+. Again, this information was no where on the registration page where I input my financial information... Though it is in small print at the top of the long-scroll calendar page, as I was condescendingly informed by the person who called me back.I had hoped for something non-alcohol related to do with my younger sister in Fremont but oh well... I even took a moment to look at the family day and kids party sections and nothing was mentioned about how they are normally not allowed in the studio. This website needs work.In fact, this information is listed no where on the front page, the registration page, or in the information section of the google listing. Based on a quick click-through, it is listed in small print at the top of the calendar and in parenthesis in the contact section...To the company, I strongly recommend placing this information in bold print on the front page, on the registration page where people input their financial info, and in the information section of the listing here on google. It is simply unreasonable to expect people to read the small print on every part of your website. Information should be continuous, logically placed, and available if it is critical to guests being allowed to attend an event they are paying for.
