Nice hike with great views. The parks in Phoenix are very well cared for. Volunteers keep them spotless and the guides are knowledgeable, helpful and very nice!

Just a great place to explore the desert. Great hikes and riding trails for horses and bikes. We have hiked Browns Mountain several times. Only three miles r/t and you get great views. Take the whole family. There is a little bit of a scramble the last twenty five feet or so to the summit.

Great view. Last stretch is quite steep and rough, but overall not bad. Took maybe 45 minutes of walking from ranch to summit.

This is a very nice recreational hike. Its mostly an area used for mountain bikers. So, expect a packed parking lot with tons of cyclists. The summit is very easy and great for kids. The only water spots is at the trailhead so make sure the family has water. This is also a nice hike for pets due to it being short, wide trails trails and its an easy hike.

Great place to hike! Lots of trails to explore so you can vary the length and difficulty to fit your needs. It seems less crowded too as you can do loops rather than there and back.

The facilities at the trailhead are nice: shade, water and restrooms. The trails are well marked. We hiked to the summit and back in 1hr 40min, which isnt bad for out of shape 50-somethings.

Great hike! The view from the top of Brown’s Mountain is incredible. It’s a medium difficulty hike until the last quarter mile, and the last 100 yards is almost a climb. Totally doable and worth it!

This is my favorite place to mtn bike. Not a lot of traffic and trails are always in good shape. There are a lot of medium level trails for all experience levels as well as some tough black trails. In particular, the trail over Browns mtn is way too much for me but would challenge even the fittest rider!
