Love how smooth the park is. It’s got decent flow, plenty of space. If I remember correctly it’s missing a manual pad and flat box to practice ledge tricks. There is a ledge not on flat ground that is fun to skate though. Nice flat rails, the transition is really mellow on the ramps, good for learning tricks on. Wish this park was closer.

Great obstacles for all level of skaters! It can get pretty busy, but I’ve always felt the other people who come to this park are polite about sharing space with all wheels and all skating levels. There are mostly teenagers, college age kids, and parents who bring younger kids to learn here. It’s kept clean and well maintained, and has good lighting for when it gets dark.

Giving this skatepark a 3 just because it is well maintained and clean. It has lot of flat ground space for beginners to get a feel for learning tricks however, as an experienced skater you’d have better luck trying some other parks like freestone or chandler. The reason being is because the people who made this park aren’t skaters and don’t know about proper angles on ramps. Not a fluid or comfortable experience. You have to be going here for years before you’d get super comfortable with the abrupt ramps. Parts of the bowl are practically a wall.

Was built about 20 years ago by a construction company that did not know how to build a skate park. 3 stars based on fact it is better than nothing.

Great place to go. Kids can skateboard while parents relax by the lake/pond or watch the younger kids on playground. Plenty of room for nerf wars.

This place is amazing, even as an observer. Watching everyone wait and then take their turn to showcase their talent with kickass tricks gives me goosebumps every time. It’s a safe place, well lit, and not a grimy scene with sketchy people. Everyone here is decent and just wants to skate and have a good time. You’ll often find seasoned skaters giving helpful advice to the newbies, and thats always cool to see. My 2cents—maybe the rollerbladers and roller skaters should try another venue/roller rink because they don’t seem to mesh well with the skaters. There’s weird tension and bad energy when the 2 mix. My opinion only, could be just me. Anyway, excellent park.

This is the oldest skatepark in Phx metro area. Sure it’s small and sketchy but it’s history and still fun. And no fence !

Its a nice scenic spot at the end of the of the El Dorado Park trail. The skate park has an Indian (Native American?) reddish hued sculpture with some drawings on it that stands in a flowing fountain. You can walk the stairs around it to see it from all angles- very peaceful. As for the the skate area itself, it does get pretty busy even early on. A little after 8, there were already at least 5 people there. Still worth it to come to this park, as its one of the bigger skate areas Ive personally seen and there a lot of different obstacles to practice on- stairs, pipes, slopes, etc.

Awesome skate park in a beautiful section of the Hayden greenbelt. Its super cool that the city is progressive enough to put something like this in. The skate park is constantly in use and a great return on investment.

So Rad! You can smell the juvenile delinquency. No, well, kinda, but cool skate park. Like 4 to 44 yrs old. My daughter liked the skater boys doing tricks and there was an instructor teaching the little guy skate stuff. Big, clean, lots of rails, ramps, ridges, pipelines or whatever they call that. Totally worth a look.
