The skate pad is an elevated big slab of concrete placed above the concrete flooring thats at the start of the park. (Facing the visitor center when you walk in, look to the right of the playground and youll find it).I was expecting ramps and other things to practice on, but it was all flat- think of an outdoors skating rink. I did how they put a red-hue on the border to make it look slightly less drab.Not a big fan though of how it had no shade... I can only imagine how hot itd get practicing there once the AZ sun is in full power in late morning/afternoon time. :P
