Phoenix Youth Theater and Miss Jacqueline and Steve are amazing! Two of our girls jumped into Annie Jr. with no real acting experience-and left with memories that will last forever! The way you encourage, teach and inspire all of our kids is such a unique gift. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime!

Ms. Jacqueline really knows what she is doing and we feel so fortunate that she is in our lives. She has a clear curriculum that she follows with the kids and knows exactly what to do to get the kids to learn the skills needed to be amazing all round performers. My daughter has been with Jacqueline for over five years, in lessons and shows, and she truly feels like family to us. I am always amazed at how well the kids do, and how organized everything is.The best part: The kids love theater and the kids love Ms. Jacqueline!

I went to Annie Jr Matinee on Saturday with my best friend and 12 year old daughter and all of us just loved it! We had great seats (my daughter’s friend is in the cast) and we were just blown away by the creativity of the makeup, costumes and sets. We were completely charmed by the production. Ive seen other Annie shows that have had long runs and you can kind of feel that the delivery is just going through the motions. This was a joy. Definitely recommend.

Our experience with PYT has been nothing but exceptional! We have just completed our second production with them and it has been a true honor to be a part of such a wonderful, hard-working and talented family. My son is also part of their Pre-Academy program and his vocal abilities have improved exponentially with the help of Miss Jacqueline. She pours her heart and soul into each individual and truly wants to see them shine on and off the stage. I can go on and on about how amazing our experience has been and will continue to be with this wonderful theater.

Family. Thats the one word I would use to describe Phoenix Youth Theatre. The staff creates an atmosphere amongst students and parents that fosters creativity, encouragement, and friendship. It is a second family to us and we couldnt be happier. Plus, their training and shows are top notch.

Ive been with Jacqueline and her fiancée Steve Giles since I did Peter Pan Jr. at Pinnacle Creative Arts with them. Ive had her as a director for three shows (more than any other director Ive worked with), and Ive seen the woman she can be: a Vegas girl who loves to work with kids, put time into directing shows and helping the cast improve by giving us feedback instead of just telling us we have to think of what we have to improve. This is a person that I will always admire, inside my theater career and outside it. Thank you so much, Jacqueline Dunford, for bringing me into the next stage of my theater career.

This studio and their teachers are amazing! Words cannot describe the care and commitment they have for their children! Miss Jacqueline, Steve, and her staff support and love my daughter for who she is, and that makes her feel safe and loved. PYT is such a special place for our family. The moment you walk in you feel warm and welcomed. The rising stars class is an amazing place for little ones to start singing, dancing and acting. Miss Jacquline is like magic with the kids and they can’t wait to go back each week. For children kindergarten and up, we love that they offer ensemble classes where each child gets a role in the up coming play. They learn so much from being part of a theatre community while having the opportunity to be on stage numerous times throughout the show. At PYT they truly care about each child as an individual and they make everybody feel like a somebody. We highly recommend it, we dare you to fall in love!

This past Saturday I Googled PYT to grab their address for someone, and wadaya know… my daughter’s picture pops up as part of the PYT heading in the search. Print Screen! Obviously that will change with time and as more reviews are written, but it prompted me to write this. Okay, so today is casting announcement day for Alice in Wonderland Jr. - all parents involved (and older kids with smart devices) are anxiously awaiting the results. You’d think I’d wait to write, right? After all, I might feel differently depending on… you know. But no, I won’t. Listen, this isn’t “just” youth theater. PYT is the real deal. Steve & Jacqueline truly strive for a Class A, professional performance from all of their actors and production at large. My kids were 2 of 60+ in Annie Jr. with no speaking or featured parts, and they had an absolute blast. It just doesn’t matter. Wanna know why, because the atmosphere fostered (and expected) at PYT is one of warmth, joy and mutual respect. It’s like singing harmony… if that makes sense or resonates with you?! Everyone is made to feel special and valued. Join them – join us. You won’t regret it.

Finding this theater has been the best thing that has happened to our family! Their artistic directors (Jacqueline and Steve) have created experiences for our kids that have helped them grow as performers and shine on stage. They not only offer experiences in musicals but they also have a vocal academy that has brought our girls to new levels in their singing and performing abilities. The level of professionism is above and beyond anything we have been involved in. The atmosphere is loving and supportive!

We highly recommend Phoenix Youth Theatre! Our daughter participates in the vocal academy and theater productions and she loves Miss Jacqueline (and Steve). PYT has created an incredible culture of inclusiveness and support - they make everyone feel important. Peter Pan Jr. and Aladdin Kids were both beyond our expectations - simply amazing!

Dynamic, Supportive, Energetic, Highly Creative, Caring, Focused – just a few words to describe the Pinnacle Creative Arts Directors (Jacqueline & Steve). I have seen my daughter’s confidence and self-esteem grow to new levels in just a few months working with Jacqueline, Steve and the PCA team. They truly invest so much of their time into each individual cast member and it shows. The PCA family members have also been a joy getting to meet and volunteer next too --- this makes the production even better! I highly recommend PCA for those who are just starting out or have an interest in theater AND of course, those who are already on their way to Broadway =)

Phoenix Youth Theatre has created an environment that is positive, creative, supportive, and so much fun. They go WAY above any beyond for their students from complimentary professional photo shoots, and photo books, to community giving experiences, and cast parties to build that wonderfully strong, authentically supportive theater family that they have. The students are genuinely friends and supportive of one another. The older kids really mentor the younger kids and show them how special they are. I particularly love how mindful they are about taking care of the youngest actors and actresses during rehearsals and showtimes. Jacqueline and Steve are welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. The level of talent at this community theater is incredible! PYT is home to so many exceptionally talented performers! PYT has proven to be a great way to foster a solid love of musical theater in my child. Ms. Jacqueline is the most incredible teacher. She manages to make each and every one of her students feel special. Everyone adores her. She truly creates a magical experience for everyone and really brings her artistic visions to life brilliantly and beautifully. We are so grateful for PYT! We love it here!
