Very nice golf course offering 2 courses. Make sure to show up early to hit the range with a complementary bag of balls. Talking stick has a great reputation for excellent instructors and on the same property as top golf and the Talking stick Resort. Located off Indian Bend Road and the 101 allows you to enjoy the wild natural desert land. I’ve even seen wild horses while playing.

Great day of golf, played the Oldham Course, it was in great shape, fairways n were very nice, kudos to the ground keepers!! The staff inside were good n bag drop staff were great, especially Armando, hes customer service is the best and hes always professional too. I always enjoy my time at Talking Stick Golf Club! GREAT JOB MR. STEVE LEONARD!!KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

Excellent fairways best I have seen in a good while. Starter was accommodating and pace of play was great. Very good experience will definitely play again next time I visit Scottsdale.

Was extremely busy the day I played in mid May, due to cooler than seasonal temperatures.Course was not overly visually pleasing, but did offer a good challenge.Greens rolled decent too.I did really like the course map map sheet they give at the starter. Something more courses should do for tourist tracks.Not sure I’d go back. But does represent decent value at just under $70 for the time I played on a weekend.

First and for most, only the range was open, but only for a short time. The putting green and chipping greens were closed. The starter was letting groups of 8 go off, slowing the entire course down. I recall seeing 4 groups waiting on a par 3, on the 3rd hole.My tee time was for 1:00 pm (Before Twilight). After waiting on the third tee box for roughly 40 minutes just to tee off, the group behind us let us know that they had two groups of 8 behind them.We finished the front nine in roughy 3.5 hours.The beverage cart services, although having 2 carts in operation, took forever. We didnt see her until the 8th hole.We decided to keep going and push it. The groups behind us gave up because it was getting late.We ended up getting through 14 holes, not finishing our round.That is uncalled for when we teed off at 1:00 pm.Completely ridiculous.It was my first time playing this course, and unfortunately will be my last.I will not play this course again, and dont recommend this course.

Great fairways and greens. All groomed very well. Their starter was very friendly and kept everyone moving from the driving range to start rounds on time. We played in a foursome and did not have to wait. I’ll absolutely be going back!

One of the best golf locations in the scottsdale and Phoenix area, definitely worth going to.

We’ve come here a couple of times this summer to practice and every time has been a good experience. The grounds could get some extra water to keep the grass greener, other then that it’s a nice place to golf.

Very dry and hard. Areas around greens cut extremely short. Other than that good.. No practice areas open.

The Piipash course was pretty beat up in the fairways and maybe thats normal for this time of year. They also had just aerated the greens which again is probably normal but it would have been nice to know going in since I was visiting from another state. The staff was great and while the course was busy, we played in 4 hours

Course is well maintained and team is very responsive. Held a tourney there and couldnt be happier!

It’s “Two great Golf courses” otherwise known to me as The North & The South, I’ve been playing these two courses for over 20 years, I’d recommend Talking Stick to anyone. Great staff, excellent Pro shop, good practice facilities. Outside the mowing crew mowing the range balls on the range and ruining the range balls, it’s a great place.

Wont play this course again, all desert and no landscaping. Met up with a 6 diamond back in the sand trap on hole 7..staff is pleasant and practice area in better shape than course! Played the Odham side and all greens were burned and hard, blowing sand and poor fairways.

Advertised as 65$ for arizona residents on their site and then charged our group 102$ when we got there. I questioned them and they acted confused. First and last time well be booking there. Course wasnt even worth the price. Look elsewhere.

Good courses with obliging staff and reasonable prices. In really good shape and gorgeous surroundings. When casino reopens will be complete.

Beautiful course that is appropriately challenging and very well maintained. Staff was friendly and willing to accommodate our request for a fivesome for my friends bachelor party. Rental clubs are very nice and top notch. Will definitely be returning when we come back to Arizona to play next year.

I had a had a very enjoyable round on the South course. The course was in great shape. An interesting, challenging layout of reasonable difficulty for an average golfer. I (a resort guest) was accompanied by a threesome of regular members. The service provided by the starter and pro shop was excellent and the practice facility was great.I also had a very good breakfast in the grill. I am looking forward to my next trip.

Expected a better experience. Fairways and greens were the best part. Driving range was in poor shape. A packed course on a Thursday resulted in a 5 hour round. Waiting on every hole can sure put a damper on the round.

Great course and well worth the Money. Greens were in perfect shape and other than the fact that I felt like the greens keeper had a relationship end last night based on the pin positions, it was an awesome experience! I will return, possibly next week!

Every time I have played here it was a good experience. Long course, beautiful scenery and really good practice facilities. Huge putting green and range. Im not sure if they have a green side bunker/dedicated chipping area. They keep the courses in very good condition. It should def go on your list of courses to play here around the PHX area.

I went to photograph a wedding at the golf course. The staff was extremely friendly and really on top of stuff. The venue was gorgeous.

First, the Oldham course was in great shape. Greens med. Speed. Soft drop from 100yds. Decent views. Pace of play was fast. Service outstanding. Staff Cleaned the clubs at the end of the round. Staff great. Med hard difficulty.

Beautiful views, clean course, be prepared to encounter local wildlife. Also, recommend the club sandwich in the restaurant, the breakfasts are delicious as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, be aware that they do have a dress code. Call the clubhouse for more details.

NOT accommodating at all. Call the course and they say “yes” you can rent a driver, get to the course to play and “no rentals”. Wha?......Using Cov19 excuse for everything. Cancelled 2 tee times here and went elsewhere to a course that is ACCOMMODATING

Easy, Flat, No fun....

Prepaid greens fees but was unable to play. The course would not refund the fee under a 48 hour cancellation policy. A late flight cancellation made 48 hours advance notice impossible, yet the Director would not budge and said I should have done my due diligence. Im from out of state and anything other than a refund had no value to me. Very disapponited the course would value $150 bucks over doing the right thing.

Great course. Not easy but really fair and playable for anyone. In great shape and the food in the restaurant is awesome..

Ive played on both courses and theyre good to great. The club house is wonky with its set up and the driving range needs to be doubled in size and beverage service on the course needs to be better (who doesnt complain about this on any course, right?) The course itself is a pleasure to play. Theyre challenging, well kept and worth what you pay.

Golf course was great, unfortunately I have to give a poor review because of a mistake by the pro shop that cost me over $200. I called the club a week before my trip to Phoenix to book a tee time with the PGA Hope military program discount (which is $10 off the resident rate), but the people I spoke to in the pro shop said they had never heard of PGA Hope and they didnt offer a discount for being a member. I took their word for it and booked a regular price tee time through GolfNow, when I got there I noticed PGA Hope signs all over the pro shop- so I asked about it again and was told they do have that discount... Apparently not all the staff knew about it, so because of their lack of training and competence I paid $400 for 2 tee times rather than $160.

Two great golf courses, played them both hard to pick the best one. Both in great shape.

WORST GOLF EXPERIENCE I have ever had! Ruined my sons bachelor party! Made 4 Tee Times with the group manager Roy Smith for my sons bachelor party. When we arrive they did not have our tee times. I spoke with Mr. Smith and he said I never made the tee times and took zero responsibility. As a retired Air Force Officer; Im not usually one to forget details. I showed him my notes from the conversation, his name, number, and the exact times I had written down that I had on my phone. He had zero empathy and said he could not help us in anyway. No apology, no effort to make it right. Thank goodness for Silverado Golf Course a few miles away who accommodated us and saved the day. Ill never go back, and I will tell everyone I can to never golf there! DONT GOLF HERE!

Very nice golf course!!! A little on the spendy side for a links style course but worth it.

Spent too much money on a sub-par course while visiting Phoenix this weekend. Marshals did not push slow groups and allowed groups of 6 and 8 play at a single hole. Really embarrassing and the course was in poor condition.

Cameron at check in with the black ray bans isn’t a very nice person. Terrible customer service! I hope I don’t seen him in the future

Arrived one hour prior to 9:45 tee time. Was informed that there was a 1 hour frost delay. No problem so decided to hit the grill for breakfastI sat at a table in the bar for 30 minutes and no one acknowledged me! Lucky there was self serve coffee at least. Placed seemed horribly understaffed but even cursory eye contact failed to get anyone’s attention....Played the south course and considering the $75 green fee even for Palmer Advantage, found conditions less than expected. Several areas of the fairways overwatered and soggy. Cart paths poorly defined and greens very thin and hardLucky the weather was niceAlso waited in the staging area for 10 minutes for someone to direct me .... service lacking here as wellI won’t be back!

Had a Kings Suite overlooking the golf course. Had a great time there and as a non-smoker can say that at no time did I find myself overwhelmed by cigarettes presence! The staff was accommodating even though they arent accustomed to having large E bikes cut through the casino to access the hotel. People offended by beautiful bodies in minimal clothing attire, mostly women in thong or g strings (darn) might loose focus on gambling when heards of youthful hotties show for the weekend pool party! The pool party costs extra so avoid that mess and be sure to book a room with a balcony facing EAST for the pool partys observation which is popular spectators sport that has me hooked, g string line and sink her/him...

I liked the golf course. Interesting layout that tests your ability to get shots with difficult sight lines at times. The course itself is in good condition. However, you can come away feeling like it wasnt quite a first class experience. Thats due to a lack of attention to detail but management

Nice course but played WAY too slow. No course marshall ever came around to speed up play...waited on every shot on every hole. 4 1/2 hours and we couldnt finish because it got dark.

After reading reviews and playing a few courses in the area, Talking Stick was by far the worst, had much higher expectations. Badly overcrowded, slow play, nothing of interest on the course, I could have been anywhere. Not the experience we were looking for. The course itself is very uninteresting, flat and mostly straight . Would not play here again, or recommend it.

I can confidently state that this golf course is the best I have ever visited, and quite likely, the best I will ever have a chance of visiting. I rate it thusly based on the marvelous scenery alone, just beautiful! Granted, my experience of golf courses is limited and I am used to the drab backdrop of the Midwest. The course itself is nothing too challenging, but good for a pleasant round of golf now and again. Full of wide-open fairways, I have golfed on courses that were otherwise simple, though made trickier due to constricted fairways. I also appreciate how beverages are served via golf cart. You can see all manner of flora and fauna typical of the Desert Southwest including rattlers, coyotes, and even roadrunners! Its like being in a Wile E. Coyote cartoon... lets just hope we dont get nailed by errant rockets or overly elaborate traps worthy of Rube Goldberg. I say this with all sincerity, if you are anywhere near Scottsdale, then check this place out. Even if youre not that into golf, this is an enjoyable location.

Boring course, only 2 par 5

Pretty open fairways. If you land just off the fairway the ball will roll into the dirt. The course has great views of the valley. Stay out of the bunkers they are so deep you can’t see out of them!

Very good golf course. Wide fairways. Excellent greens. Very fast. Good bunkers. Beware: the carts go into crawl mode if you drive into the waste areas, so stay on the paths and fairways. Good electric carts. Nice clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant. Excellent staff. Highly recommended.

This place was beautiful, and we got a great deal on a Thursday afternoon post tourney. Also the staff were great! Zero complaints.

Why close the driving range at 1:30 when sunset is 6pm? Public course of the desert. Very busy but a great value $50 2:30 tee time. Fairways and greens excellent.

Came out for my birthday and to have a great time. Unfortunately, had a horrible experience. Jay the golf Sheriff or whatever you call his role came up to us telling us we had to hurry up and threatened us well get kicked off when there are the player a head of us on the greens and no players behind us. The cart girls are super disrespectful as well.

Nice layout and fun to play. The employees were friendly and courteous. That said, they need to step it up here. I rented clubs that were very used and beat up. Even the bag seemed old. Not what you’d expect. The gps on golf carts did not work at all. There was no towel in my cart either and no beverage cart on course. Could be much better experience.

Well designed course, fast greens

Neither course is anything amazing but both are in good shape and the greens were really quick and really firm. Carts have a nicest GPS systems Ive seen with the menu with the exception of keeping score on them. Staff is all super friendly and theres a nice big pro shop with lots of clothing options. The wild horse grill is a nice spot for food and drinks..

Lots of prairie dogs. Cute, but they make some big holes that can eat golf balls or twist ankles.

Good open golf course (South) as a group we enjoyed the layout and forgiveness off the tee.

Beautiful setting and creative architecture. We had lunch on the patio. Food was excellent. The presentation of the food was very plain. Really doesnt matter except that everything else was so perfect and the plating could be tweaked a bit to make it perfect.

Just got done playing today. Tee time was for 2:43. Didnt tee off till 3:20. Was excruciatingly slow. Didnt see one ranger out to help speed up things. Then at 6:30 we had 3 people (non rangers) come out and tell us to fonish up at 7 because its curfew. Sun was still up perfectly fine. So didnt get to finish. Grass is dying and the driving range was like putting a tee in a hey stack. Hate being rushed by a golf course that starts you 30 minutes late, we wont be back
