A lovely quiet place for a meditative walk. There are paths lined with greenery and trees. The roses are beautiful when they are blooming. You can go to Mass when they have one, although I have never gone myself.

This is not my first time to visit Carmelite Monastery but this time I get to visit the monastery with my sons classroom students, St. Clare School 3rd grade class students and stuffs. The monastery is beautiful and quite.

Beautiful, historic and holy Carmelite Monastery. (In this location in the country when Santa Clara was in its early days, long before Silicon Valley, and long before the destruction of the agricultural breadbasket of the world -- that once was the Santa Clara Valley.) You can step back in time here, walk these lovely grounds, pray and meditate...And perhaps find some solace in these busy times.

This place is a God-send. Right in the middle of noisy and busy streets of Santa Clara you will find solace here. It is like going to a different world. You will not even hear the traffic even though it is so close. What you will hear is the silence your soul has been craving for.

Beautiful historic site, well maintained by the Carmelite Nuns and staff. Have not attended a service but have walked the grounds. Nice gardens and an olive tree orchard. Very tranquil.

I went this morning to try their eggs Benedict. It was ok. I love eggs Benedict so when my friend told me about this place I had to go try and I wasnt 5 star impressed. Im going to go back next Saturday and try something different on the menu and if it is just ok again, then I wont return.
