Writing this review based on how much this program helped my cousin find her passion and pursue a successful career. My cousin moved here from Korea because my uncle got a job here in the Bay Area. For many years, she showed no interest in any subject in school or extracurricular activities. Worried for her sake, my mom contacted Sunflower Academy after one of her friends told her how great her experiences were with this place.Initially my cousin did not seem to show interest in art either. But after daily after school sessions for a few months, something changed in her. She started to see improvement in her drawing abilities and this helped her realize her full potential. Fast forward 4 years and she is now painting like a professional and truly enjoys it. She even got accepted into many top art universities with great scholarships for a lot of them.Even if your kid has no interest in pursing art school and a career in art, I feel that this is a great way to build a childs focus and character.The tuition did seem a little pricey but isnt everything expensive here in the Bay Area? And if your kid is able to find something that they truly love to do and can land a successful career afterwards (like my cousin), this school is well worth the investment!
