This is one of the best religious places I visited in and around San Francisco. A well maintained temple for meditation to get real peace of mind. I would always like love to spend a few hours every time I visit this holy place.

Nice place to stop by and look at. Needs a lot of maintenance and the people were not very inviting but they did let us enter so that was nice.

I have been to Evergreen Gurudwara many times. It is a beautiful place, very clean, peaceful and a very serene environment.I have high-regards & deep respect for the Sikh community in general. They are the best examples of humanity first. Wherever there is any need for community service, the Sikh community is always there to help people. Every religion preaches about kindness, but Sikhs bring it to practice. Sikh community is one of the most hard-working, self-sufficient, and caring communities, and Evergreen Gurudwara is living up to it. They welcome all with open arms. Hats off to all the Sikhs.

Great experience at Langer. While entering one should enter through the extreme left side as the scarfs are in there.You can get one of the best view of San Jose from the front gate.

Beautiful location, on a hill with a panoramic view. The place is very organized and welcoming. Highly recommended.I visited the gurdwara recently and attended the holi celebration. Hats off to the sponsors and organizers of the event. It was amazing to see the dedicated volunteers.

Very nice, beautiful guru dwara in bay area. Its on hill with beautiful sceenic surroundings. During sunset you will get a chance to see a nice view with san Jose down town and flights landings. They serve free food for every one with hot hot tea. The main hall is so huge, calm and neat. One should not miss this place in san Jose.its the best place for prayer.

Been going here my whole life biggest gurudwara in north america

Its a very big and beautiful Gurdwara. Good place to learn Sikh culture from wonderful people. Theres a lot of parking space available including electrical vehicle charging spots. They also serve good food throughout the day. Definitely recommend going there.

One of the best and biggest Gurudwara in the bay area! My family and I go there on weekends. The atmosphere is so calm and the gurudwara has been very well maintained.

My friend to this gem of a place nestled behind a residential area, up a hill. This temple offers free delicious meal through the generous donations of the community it serves. Everyone is welcome, nobody is denied. One can also get an awesome panoramic view of San Jose.

Great Gurdwara, been going to this place since it was built back in early 2000s. Was there at its former when it was just down the street before they bought that property and build this beautiful new one. Definitely a great place filled with beautiful day and night views of San Jose, good people and blessings.

Great place. Lovely calm place, unfortunately with malfunctioning wheelchairs. Everybody is welcome here. Vegetarian breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks served to all allowed. The sound of bani and taste of langar will fill your atmosphere with humbleness

Unwelcoming place. Random people start yelling if your head is not covered in food area and even go to the limit of harassing you verbally and forcing you to leave. A person cannot enter in Langar hall without head covered then what about people who have had a hair cut or shaved or waxed etc? How come they are allowed? I believe this place would be empty.

Lovely place with a breathtaking view. It’s situated in the hilly Evergreen area. I went around 8-9ish, gurudwara was pretty empty so it was nice to sit there and listen to the path. Very calming place.

Tranquil place to settle down and meditate. Getting knowledge in Sikhism including food and doctrine is really nice. Its worth visiting.

Sikh Gurdwara San Jose is the largest in North America and it’s absolutely beautiful and blissful. It’s located in Evergreen neighborhood of San Jose and has a gorgeous view of the Silicon Valley. They have weekly Sunday “Diwan” that includes Kirtan and Ardaas. The hall has huge capacity of over 1000 people and they celebrate all the Sikh history events with grace and passion. There’s a very large park for kids and my daughter loves it there. “Langar” is served throughout the day keeping in tradition with the Sikh tradition. I highly recommend visiting here even if you’re not a Sikh. It’s a great place to learn about Sikh culture, tradition and spend a quality time with your family!!

Very beautiful structure and campus. I havent been inside or attended anything here so am not able to give a full review but its definitely worth Going to see and appreciate.

What a quaint and peaceful place.We went there just to explore the gurudwara.You have to remove the shoes and cover the hair at the entrance (they provide you with the cover).The main hall itself is so huge (it could sit about 2500 people there at a time) and beautiful...We head to Langar after we prayed.Langar at this gurudwara is open 24*7 and serves food regardless of your gender, religion or other differences.The food was delicious.Most importantly, the view from the Gurudwara is just breathtaking.You can see all these gleaming lights of the city from up there.Definitely worth a visit if you want to explore San jose to the fullest.

Beautiful, peaceful place with relaxing environment for spiritual comfort. It has this positive energy and vibes as you enter the front door and the facility is clean and very well kept. Wish I could attend daily but I live far and I try to go when I can as we have major traffic issues in this part of the country. Love every minute I spend at this Gurdwara.

Its beautiful place ..I always feel so peaceful and happy whenever I go there.. they have lots of different activities always happen there . You can get lot of information about immigration, medical , insurance and many more . Every Sunday we got with family and I can see the impact on my two little kids , they also loved it and always wait to go there . They also celebrate Diwali with fire crackers, lodhi with fire and many more festival like we do back in our country.

Great location..Beautiful serene place, unfortunately with malfunctioning wheelchairs. When you are taking people, especially the elderly with mobility challenges to a place of worship, and spend 3/4 of that time fighting a faulty wheelchair,it feels like there is no respect for the needs of those with special needs. God bless the young gentleman who assisted me, and opened doors to help me. The rest just looked on

Not in position to rate a holy place, but if there would have been a good public transportation to this place from SJSU campus, it would have been great for all those Sikh students to visit their holy place.

Interesting change of view,Come to this place and see just how small our world really is, there are outside influences that shape our construts of what religion is to some and others.The whole campus is very grand and spacious, the sikhs or guras will welcome you in as long as you respectfully do as noted.1. Remove your shoes, so as not to brings the dirt of outside inside2. Cover your head with their provided head coverings.3.wash your hands.4. Eat their food.(I tell you now it is spicy, even the tea that is there is also spicy somehow)Follow others and dont be afraid to ask about.From what I heard is that they have three main prayers each day.This was an fun place stop by and see how different cultures work.
