The employee greeted me and my sister (adults) with joy and excitement. It was a welcoming experience and the joy of art was apparent. She asked for feedback about accessibility in the store as they have been working on it, and my sister was in a wheelchair. I can’t remember her name; however, this employee made the experience an engaging, active, and memorable experience.

This place is great for shoppers who want to leave their kids with babysitters. But, people who want get some help in art basics and training, please don’t waste your $$ here. They don’t have any proper structure to engage kids with art or painting. Very disappointed.

Pretty good. I bought a package so I can take my kid there anytime. She usually finishes, but the staff are really busy alternating kids to help finish their drawings too. Its really interesting because you can either do artwork by hand, do clay, or digital art.

I have been to their Hillsdale Mall branch. There was no art instruction or encouragement to engage my son to paint. Also minimal art material was provided .

Theres not much art instruction involved, so just expect it to be a babysitting service more than an art class, and you wont be too disappointed. The kids seem to enjoy their time here, which is why we keep coming back.

My daughter been wanting to go to Young Art. My wife and I decided to take her since she loves to draw. The Asian lady at the register was awfully rude right from the start. As soon as we paid, my daughter walk to an unoccupied table. The same lady stopped us at the register and told us to wait outside because there was a party going on and there was no room for us. She should have told us this before we paid. We could not get our money back because my daughter had already started on her painting. I would never come back to this establishment.

Good place to let you kid enjoy the drawing/painting while you go around the mall and finish your business. We took a multi class package and that lets my kid come here and paint for whatever time she wants and rest gets carried forward. My kid enjoys and the staff is helpful as well. No complains. Cheers.

This is the worst art studio Ive ever been. We came to this mall for lunch and the kids found out this place and we went in and asked for information. The guy said they offer drop in classes from 15 minutes to an hour. Depends on the length of the class, the kids draw on different size of paper and so they can finish the picture within the time frame. They guy also showed us the water color pastel and told the kids they will be using that technique during the lesson. I paid for $40 for the two girls to join a 30 minutes session. Age 7 & 10. When I came back after 30 minutes, I found out that my girls were basically free drawing on their own. One of my girl was crying because she doesnt like her picture. The other girl was not even finished her pencil sketching. The technique that the guy showed us was not used at all. In fact I saw no lesson going on at all. Basically I paid for $40 for 30 minutes baby-sitting. Worst experience ever.

This place is a life saver! I found this place by chance a couple weeks ago. I needed to buy a gift... the kids didnt want to shop. Instead they wanted to run around in the kids area. My 5 yo daughter spotted the paintings and was immediately drawn to it. Instead of wanting to play in the kids area, she wanted to take a class. So we dropped in and enrolled her for 45 mins. The guy/instructor already had 3 other students in class, but was willing to take on another. He took the time to explain the process and we immediately signed her up. I come back 45 minutes and she was not done yet. I observed the class for 10 mins and appreciated the instructors patience with not only my daughter but also with the other students. I left again to do a little more shopping. I come back 30 minutes later and shes done... he didnt charge me extra for the additional time. Her Little Mermaid painting was adorable and she enjoyed and learned so much from the instructor. I signed her up for more hours... particularly their Summer Camp. Im sure shell have a blast with it.
